What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Mammalian. Ruka has no specific idea as to which animal he would like to be but he has a love for animals in general and is very drawn to both cat and dog like creatures. Something small and agile would suit him well. Having been nicknamed Firefox, Ruka considers a fox a good Animagus option for himself.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

Though Ruka has a strong fondness for animals, his main reason for wanting to be an Animagus is the wide array of opportunities that come with being able to experience the world from a different perspective and as someone he can't be recognised as himself by anyone who does not know of his animal form. Thoroughly nature bound, Ruka has grown up around wild animals and has always liked to imagine what it would be like to live as one of them.

As for the fox as his form of choice, Ruka likes to think of himself as clever and curious, as well as playful and mischievous when able to be, which are common traits associated with foxes.

What do you hope to get from this group?

Generally curious about the topic of Animagi, Ruka is eager to be able to talk to people who may have more information or research tips. He is also curious to see which other students aspire to be Animagi and which animal forms they might be taking when the time comes.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Undecided, but most likely either a feline or avian. If a feline it would be a smaller cat, and if an avian it would likely be a bird of prey, such as an owl or an eagle.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

Piper feels most like a cat or bird of prey because she tends to be much more of an introvert, and generally will assume the worst of people. She loves predators in general, believing many are misunderstood. She also loves the idea of sneaking around in public and finding information she would not otherwise hear - this can only be done with an average-looking animal.

Piper wants to be an Animagus firstly because of the above reason, and secondly because she loves Transfiguration. Spellcasting classes are her strongest suit, and to become an Animagus is considered the highest level of Transfiguration mastery - which is the standard Piper holds herself to. She has quickly become obsessed with the idea, as well as how it is scientifically possible to become an animal and back at will.

What do you hope to get from this group?

OOC I hope to learn more about the Animagus process, and get Piper to interact with more people/friends. *pokes* Character development!

IC Piper wants to also learn more about Animagi, and learn more about which type of animal would best suit her. She would love to have debates discussions as well, to help her grasp concepts more. And lastly, Piper needs a break from all her work.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Red-tailed Hawk. It shares the same color scheme as my characters natural hair. It's a beautiful, but, deadly creature that can be temperamental.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

The idea if Zyk was to become an animagus would be to allow him to spot the specific trees from above that can be used for wand crafting purposes. As my characters ambition is to become a wand-maker, it'd assist in his life-goals. Zykeal also hates flying by brooms, finding them to be quite rudamentary.


What do you hope to get from this group?

Knowledge. Zykeal seeks out information and ideas to help pursue his ambitions.

Note to those in Aspirants, Assemble: I'm going to be posting some time soon, not trying to ignore post order, but driven to keep things moving forward!

What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Something cute and mildly violent. Current ideas include swan, peacock, lion, cat, fox, chinchilla, and sugar glider, but honestly, I keep coming up with more, so who knows! Ana is hoping for a swan IC

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

Magic and everything that comes with it has caused a lot of pain for Ana, but she's always been fascinated by the idea of being an Animagus. With recent person events, she's decided that she needs to commit to something that uses magic for something beautiful and fun like this. There were often swans in the various lakes and ponds on Beckett properties, so they are an animal she is familiar with and has always admired. The way that swans appear graceful and serene but are also more than willing to fight anyone who disturbs them is something Ana can most definitely relate to.

What do you hope to get from this group?

Ana's had a rough few months, so she's hoping to make friends over a similar interest. She also has yet to make any friends who are as excited about potentially becoming an animagus as she is, so she wants to do that as well. Also, as always, character development! (read angst and trauma with some light happiness somewhere in there)

Today's the day I'll be wrapping up my WIP for the Assemble thread, just have a couple things to get out of the way first. The scene remains open for latecomers, though there may not be too many rounds left so we can wrap up the initial meet and get on to the good stuff

What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Mammalian. In character she is unsure what kind, but out of character I suspect it will either be a red fox or a dog.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

Winnie grew up on a farm, so the idea of being able to become an animal along side her current animal friends is very appealing.

Given Winnie's long red hair, her fondness for being inside forest, and her love of foxes due to the plushie her father gave her as a young girl, she aspires to become a red fox animagus.

As for the dog side, her personality is quite like a dog, often following friends around, her loyalty towards them, and her attitude in general. Considering her looks, it would likely be a dog with a copper coat, such as a Golden Retriever (since their coat can be a variety of colours), an Irish Setter, or Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

What do you hope to get from this group?
Out of character I hope to meet friends and roleplay fun experiences.

In character, Winnie would also like to meet new friends, hang out with current friends, and is excited to discuss the topic of animals in general.

Does your character hope to have animal friends? Do they need help researching their animal? Are there specific types of events you would like to play in this group (please feel free to add any suggestions or requests here)? Just curious for now?

As I mentioned, Winnie grew up on a farm and already has a ton of animal friends! She just feels their friendship would be much more fun if she were able to see the world from their perspective. She likely would need help deciding what animal.
