Then, while we are talking about the story: are there any events to know about in HiO? That changed the story in a significant way, or the life at Hogwarts?
I didn't went through everything in here, feel free to indicate what to read!

I know this was a while back so I'm not sure if this got answered for you or not so I am. We haven't really had any big plots that affect the story so much as a lot of little plots. I don't have a terrible amount of time otherwise I would write out a bit more.

We have Winterlands a Gryffindor Main Story with cowboys blowing off the caboose of the Hogwarts Express on the way back from winter break. The cowboys left and now there are a lot of students recovering from the train crash. And there is a man there with a plane-limo offering help to the students (I believe he is running for Minister of Magic)

There is also a Hufflepuff thread in their common room that I don't know as many specifics about. And I believe a Ravenclaw one as well. And Slytherin also has an ongoing main story thread in the Dungeons where they are mostly just looking around and falling down holes last time I checked.

There are hags in the castle which is a plot line that the top 12 winners of March are going to be able to participate in. And the hags have enchanted dolls that popped up in the Autumn Ball.

I tend to stay out of the Main Story threads I'm not in so much so that I don't have to worry about accidentally writing in things my character doesn't know IC. But I hoped this helped some.
