This is what you could call a starter pack; I have a couple plot ideas I'm looking to fulfill to build and mold some relationships—positive or negative—for the beginning of the year, to be expanded upon with time. Reducio Evelynn is not really one for relationships and romance. There is no way that she would see this errand and sign herself up. That said, I (oocly) love putting her into uncomfortable positions that could facilitate unexpected RP and character development. So I am giving OOC permission to anyone who might have IC reason to sign her up. Feel free to use any parameters you'd like for the "Seeking.." and indicate whoever you think her crush might be (or whoever you'd like to torment her with as being reported as being her crush). Note: By default, this is not a thread request, but rather ooc permission given to sign up my character for the linked Valentine's Errand. That said, this could also turn into a thread of her attempting to find out who did it, or your character asking her after the fact how the night went in an admission of having signed her up, etc.

Reducio Since becoming aware of the strange happenings about the school during her first year at Hogwarts, Evelynn has been attempting to gather as much information as possible, diving into old archives, archaic papers, anything and everything in her research and pursuit of knowledge. But books only get you so far. Word of mouth is much more efficient, and the eyes and ears of many are better than those of one. I'm looking for anyone who would like to impart upon her what they know about the various main story events: historical, current, and future. Note: This could easily be a thread of information sharing, or several. It can be a one time thing, or develop into habitual and regular meetings. This could be in person, or by letter correspondence. I would love to develop a network of information sharing specific to the main story events!

Reducio In addition to the main story event information hunt... Evelynn also keeps a keen eye out for information of interest pertaining to the general populous — staff and student — at Hogwarts. Know of any werewolves? Have a run-in with a dhampir? Hear that so and so are dating, or that those two over there had a fight last week? Evelynn wants to know it all. If you've rumor, gossip, knowledge or anything else, she's here to listen. Who knows, maybe some of it could get slipped to the writers at Headliner for a particularly juicy column. Note: This could easily be a thread of information sharing, or several. It can be a one time thing, or develop into a habit of meeting. In person or in letter (which could even be anonymous). The rumor mill is open for business!

Reducio I have not yet placed Evelynn in a thread for her return to school, but think it could be nice for her to develop some additional connections for this school year. This would obviously be back-dated to September 1, 2020. Perhaps you'd like someone to talk to on the train ride to school? Perhaps your character is a bit nervous and looking for some advice going into their first year? I'm open to a variety of scenarios/characters, or we could just put them together in a compartment and see where their interaction takes them. And if you're just stumbling upon this post and are interested, but nothing listed strikes your fancy, I'm happy to brainstorm. I typically write 600 - 1,000 words per post. Response time varies depending on when you happen to post relative to my work schedule, but I'm averaging a few days currently. But I'd like to practice shorter, faster posts as well, so I'm open to all variety of writer. I promise, I don't bite.

Informat

This isn't a request for threads, but instead a request for people to plan with until I have the time and mental capacity for more partners and threads. I'm looking for pre-Hogwarts relationships for Phaedra, with other pure-bloods or high-class half-bloods and muggle-born. Her family has built magical ships since the 1800s, so realistically, she would have known other families as snooty as hers growing up. For this, I would prefer someone who I haven't yet role-played with so that we don't have to retcon any past inconsistencies. There are no house or year preferences for platonic/minion/enemy/neutral ties, but no under third-years for mutual crushes.

If anyone is interested, please DM me on Discord (preferred), but we can talk through owls too. My encyclopedia has most information concerning her backstory, family, personality and interests, so read up there if you want to see if she'd compatible forming an interesting dynamic with your character.

Additional info: Alright, honesty time. I'm an anxious person. The time it takes me to write a response is the fault of my own high expectations. But if I'm confident that I wrote an absolute banger, it'll get out quicker, which is why I'm such a big fan of planning out threads beforehand because I love structure. I would just like anyone writing with me to know that you'll probably be waiting at times, but a little poke to remind me won't offend. You won't have to worry about me going inactive though; I think me being a fourth-year going on fifth is testament that I stick around, no matter how slow at replying. I don't bite, I promise!

Lucia's all excited for her first year at Hogwarts, so when she finds a carriage with only one other person, she perks right up and decides they're going to be her new best friend. Which doesn't work at all, because as soon as Lucia introduces herself they recognise her last name and jeer at her for coming from a family so poor they own a shop. Lucia's unfailing loyalty kicks in and she lets loose upon your character, shouting at them for a minute straight before storming out and spending the rest of the train ride grumbling by herself in a cabin right at the other end of the train.

This will be a rather short thread, but I haven't really roleplayed Lucia being angry very much so it'll be great for character development. We could make this just a one-time thing, or a longer rivalry if you'd prefer.

Lucia has been hiding her ancestry for so long that it is second-nature for her to lie about her blood status. Y/C, however, is perfectly happy with their background and, indeed, tells Lucia about their ancestry the first time they meet. After getting to know this person, Lucia begins to see them as a mentor figure and looks up to them, going so far as to follow their lead and be happier with her own family.

This will probably be a long-term mentor/friend relationship, and will also lead to future character development when Lucia 'confesses' her part-Veela ancestry to her friend @Alexa Mackenzie (Alexa, that'd in Pact of Badger Bungalow if you don't mind ). I have a few other ideas for this, such as Lucia telling them about her ancestry and why she's had to hide it for so long, and possibly them comforting Lucia when the secret gets out in fourth/fifth year, but those are optional and this is just the basics.
