Fed Up PV Eris, Kaegen, and Anatole Closed

Anatole was just a little bit overwhelmed at the shiny, new chaos all over being pulled out of a tree. He did think some of it was superficial, but he laughed just the same. It’s not everyday you see one of your acquaintances yanked out of a tree by only a scarf! ”Oh, yes! I very much like scarves too, if you don’t mind!” Too bad he left his back in the dorms.

He had no idea why he was joyous in this situation, and of course they were judging him. Maybe it was a little bit of Rosie coming into him. He did not hear Kae’s mention to the Gryffindor Prefect.

He just shrugged at Reyna, confused as to who she was and even what they were discussing. Silently, he waved at the girl, moving just a little bit closer (not noticing she was about to break out in a fit of rage) and introducing himself quietly. “Hey, I’m Anatole. Pleasure’s mine.” Good. Nice and polite.

Suddenly, Reyna screeched words out like some sort of reclusive banshee. Anatole jumped back, tripping, startled at the loud sound. He apologized in a whisper, even more overwhelmed by the sudden crying.

Before he could get up, Kaegen, abnormally strange self and all, assisted her. Yes, they all gave him quite a few seconds...before he popped the contact out for her. They must have been good friends, Anatole thought, refusing to think of love. They smiled at each other, only fueling Anatole’s sudden happiness and reducing the feeling of being overwhelmed.

And of course, she was wearing a scarf, which he liked very much.

"Whatever you want me to call you would be fine," Reyna said, grinning slightly at Kaegen. What should I do to thank him? Reyna wondered, hesitating a moment before wrapping her arms around him. After a moment's pause, Reyna backed away a bit, letting her arms settle to her sides. "I really do appreciate what you did for me back there. How did you know how to get the contact out? Most people who don't use them have no clue how they work, and they end up just being super creeped out by it. So how did you know -" Reyna said quickly, before taking a deep breath and muttering to herself. "Don't ramble, it's uncivilized," she muttered to herself, turning around and once again seeing the Prefect of Gryffindor and the chestnut-haired boy.

"Heyo," Reyna said giving a quick wave of her hand to them "These your friends?" Reyna asked Kaegen, turning towards him and raising an eyebrow. Whoever they are, they look freezing... she thought, thankful for the warmth of her scarf. Oo... Reyna thought, spotting a thin, flat rock on the ground. That rock would be perfect for skipping... She grinned and tossed the rock towards the... general direction of the lake. In the end, it ended up narrowly missing the arm of the Gryffindor prefect, Eris, she believed her name was. "Sorry!" Reyna shouted to her, wincing at her own bad aim. I've always sucked at accuracy... Reyna thought, But missing an entire lake is something else...

It felt nice to get hugged, it was a special moment. He always got one hug a year, on his birthday. As his present, kind of.
"My name is Deathmote, Kaegen Deathmote. And it was pretty easy. Grandfather was always getting weird things stuck in his eyes. That one time he got a leaf stuck to it. Getting magic scales out wasn't too hard."
His whispery voice was too faraway to be bragging, it was assuring that his services hadn't been all that complicated. This day was really looking up! He looked over at the other students, the ones she had asked if they were his friends.
"She is, her name is Eris. That kid is thatkid from the corridors that one time."
He waved at each respectively, realized he forgot to ask the girl's name, figured it didn't matter, and mentally labeled her 'scarf' that was close enough, wasn't it?
Scarf whipped a rock, missing the gryffindor prefect. Kaegen's eyes followed it's path.
"Your aim was off, but you were close. You should get a slingshot."
Man, prejudice against the scarf-less was more brutal than he thought. Poor eris was walking around scarfless, and as punishment was almost hit by a stone. He wasn't too worried though. Eris could most likely take care of herself. He gestured to her neck again, and then to his scarf. With any luck she would get the hint before someone got hurt.
"Hey, scarf? What was that game you were playing with the grass?"
He looked away from Eris and back to the girl. Interested in this interesting way to play with plants and a lake. Who knows? He might take it up as a hobby.

That corridor kid. That was just it, wasn't it? No matter how many times he had introduced himself in the presence of Kaegen, all he ended up being was "That corridor kid". Introductions were useless, weren't they?

Anatole's first nature was to retaliate, despite the danger of interacting with Mr. Robe-Ripper Violent Possible Psychopath. "Excuse me, sir..." He got up, approaching Kaegen with a nervous, shaky smile. "I believe I have a name, if it so pleases you?" He sounded very firm in his words, for once. It must have been that he felt no connection to any of these people, no repulsion or attraction, just...nothing. "Anatole...Evans? This is the fourth or so time I have brought up my actual name...?" His fingers gestured back and forth between him and the peculiar Ravenclaw, his eyebrows raising as if he was giving telepathic signals. Almost as if Anatole was nudging him, saying 'yeah, you agree, right?'

Anatole would have actually done that if he wasn't in complete and utter fear with this mastermind.

The stone whizzed by the Gryffindor Prefect, and Anatole just reflected the same look he had just given to Kaegen. Well, to say the least, now he was fed up.
