Uhh I honestly don't know because all of them are cool but the first one that came to me was the Ravenclaw dorm.

Well this is easy... I really enjoy the community we have on here. Everyone's always so nice and all~
Tell me about one of your favorite scenes or IC/OOC interactions.
Don't really have a favourite IC scene/interactions but OOC, I feel like my favourite interaction was with @Willow Anderson on discord. She's literally the most amazing and kindest person I've ever met.

Edit: Whoops, I just realized that I have over 30 galleons in total wealth- You don't have to give me the galleons since there are other first years that need help with money but you can if you want to~

What is your favorite setting (the Courtyard, Great Lake, a class, store, etc)

Probably the Hogwarts Express! But I think that's mainly because of the amazing first ever roleplay I had there. It really gave me such an amazing impression of the website. With such amazing partners, it really made the whole thing feel so real, which is obviously what we are all here for! (plus a little drama )

What do you enjoy most about HiO so far?

Definitely the people! Even though I haven't been on the site for long, I feel like I have met some great people and am already created worldwide friendships, which to think about is just a little insane! It's just amazing to me how the passion over one fanbase is able to create something so unique and fun. I tried out a few sites before landing on this one, and I have to say it has certainly been the best.

Tell me about one of your favorite scenes or IC/OOC interactions.

Well, as Tina already mentioned, it was meeting Martyna Romero on the Train and making our new enemy, Elizabeth Issacs. That RP was not only fun, but all three of us have become friends while living in totally different places, and have all LOVED creating our drama-filled RPs.

A very close second is my RPing with Cassandra Ironwoods. They have been a complete blast, and our 'sibling' relationship is just SO fun to RP with. I think thats something I really have been appreciating about the site as well. People develop and change, and the opportunity to do this and have a unique character that you build upon is just such a blast and so different than the one-off roleplays I've done in other places.

What is your favorite setting (the Courtyard, Great Lake, a class, store, etc)

Forbidden Forest- As if I wouldn't prefer the malevolent and creepy woods on the edge of the school's property as opposed to all the safe, fun locations we could explore. I like to imagine it as a dark entity inching closer and closer to the school, kept back only by the watchful eyes of Hogwart's very own Groundskeeper. Of course, I also like the Library mostly just because its become a safe-haven for my character.

What do you enjoy most about HiO so far?

Definitely, heads and shoulders above all the other reasons, the community that makes it up. The people I've met here are friendlier than other online forums. More thoughtful than most people I know in the real world, and more compassionate than some of my own family Making friends and finding new ways to fulfill my desire to share laughter has been wonderful.

Tell me about one of your favorite scenes or IC/OOC interactions.

Opening up my shop was a wonderful experience. I've gotten to work with several artists and role players from different walks of life with varying degrees of experience because of it. I've gotten to try my hand at making headers, prove myself by providing feedback, I've even recommended artists for others to make contact with. Heck, I've even found artists I was interested in just by offering to explain my opinions to others. That people seem to take my ideas and actually do something with them when I can't is validating on its own. That a few have come back for my ideas more than once makes me feel valuable.

What is your favorite setting (the Courtyard, Great Lake, a class, store, etc)?

My favorite setting so far has definitely been Diagon Alley! The detail was incredible, and both my character and I enjoyed going to the various locations and purchasing school supplies. The canon supplies available were extremely fun to peruse. Additionally, I believe it is a milestone for any young witch or wizard to visit Diagon Alley before their Hogwarts education begins. After all, what's school without books, and what's magic without a wand?

What do you enjoy most about HiO so far?

Oh, gosh...you're actually making me choose? Well, as many students have said before me, I am absolutely wowed by the amount of depth and detail that goes into these roleplays. I especially love the verification process, as it ensures that members are here to stay and will put in effort, and we don't get many trolls. Lots of love to the mods who go through each registration form!

As I was saying, the amount of detail is incredible. I love how absolutely canon everything is, and how Hio just brings Hogwarts to life. Roleplaying here feels like I am my character, and having partners who put equal effort into their posts is a great feeling. I also enjoy how I can express my character's thoughts and develop her as a whole. Honestly it sometimes doesn't feel as though she's fictional! Everyone here puts a bit of themselves into their roleplays, whether they realize it or not, and I think that's what I love the most: the genuine effort, detail, and care that goes into each post.

Tell me about one of your favorite scenes or IC/OOC interactions.

Oh, boy! I haven't actually had the most interactions so far, but I had fun with Starlee Kennedy's iNPC Florian LeRoy at the Hufflepuff-Ravenclaw Quidditch match. It was one of my first roleplays, and it was an opportunity to really develop my character and think about the little details. Essentially, Piper is hostile towards Florian at first, who in return is not hesitant to be smug when the team he's rooting for wins.

I've also had fun lately in an ongoing rp in the Potions classroom with Maison Pritchard - his character's bubbly, happy-go-lucky and optimistic personality clashes strongly with Piper's more serious, perfectionistic and pessimistic outlook, particularly when attempting to brew a potion. Piper's more interested in getting the work done than Maison, who just wants to have fun while brewing. It's quite entertaining, and I especially enjoy posting there.

All in all, Hio is one of the best and more addicting sites I've been on, and I hope to continue for as long as possible. Happy 1-year Hio-versary to you!

IC: Stanley really like the Great Lake because so many different interactions can happy there. He met Marshal and Leonard there which is a very important part of his story line. OOC: I really really love the Ravenclaw Common Room. It is so chill and the background blows me away. When I was Lizzie my favorite part of the day was to go to the girls dormitory and collect my scholarship.

What do you enjoy most about HiO so far?
There is so much I like. I really like the backgrounds for each specific area. They are so detailed and so cool. I also like the people both IC and OOC. The development some people have done is very impressive and I am jealous of the people who are naturally good at writing.

My favorite OOC interaction was when I joined the discord server. Everyone was so nice and welcoming to me. They have also supported me a lot as I have grown through the months of being here.

How am I supposed to choose?! I love reading all threads from the Room of Requirement because there's typically a lot of creativity involved, although I really enjoy reading solo's in every place. My favorite spot to RP at first was definitely the library, although now I have a lot more threads out on the Grounds, not sure if it's because I really enjoy the spots or Kat does though. Kat's favorite setting is probably the RoR or the Rehearsal room because she can express herself more there. (which leads to a few warm and fuzzy threads)

What do you enjoy most about HiO so far?
The people. No doubt in my mind. I have learned so much from this site, and I don't mean all Harry Potter stuff. I've learned tons of writing skills and in the past year (and a half ish) my writing has significantly improved to the point that I can't read my old posts without shuddering. Its not just the roleplaying that I enjoy but OOC discussions, the art and products people make, awespiring coders, the fun conversations on the discord, but everyone is always so nice. HiO has definitely become a safe place for me. Even if Kat isn't super lovable IC, I feel very loved OOC.

Tell me about one of your favorite scenes or IC/OOC interactions.
I could write a book. But I won't, since my fingers are very cold and stiff, and my attention span isn't quite there right now.
I remember the first time someone sent me an owl, not for anything in particular. They said that they were pretty intimidated to send me an owl but they loved my writing and admitted that they had been taking notes from my threads and had read through almost every thread I have. I was starstruck. It was such an inspiring thing to hear and I basically smiled the rest of the day. I never really thought about people reading my threads and liking them, I was just doing it because I enjoyed it.
Another time, I had just put in a little post in my ency stating that if anyone needed help with anything they could reach out. I had someone send me an owl, I don't joke, FIVE MINUTES LATER. The person had also been reading my threads but they were struggling reaching Word Counts and hadn't been able to keep the same tense. I responded with, what I'm sure was a very intimidating 1k owl back. The person went inactive shortly after, but before they did, they made a point to thank me for all the time I had put into it.
As far as IC goes, the first time someone wasn't so nice to Kat I was rather confused. At first, Kat was basically me, which meant when someone was mean to Kat, they were sort of mean to me. I responded, in the thread and I'm not sure if I sounded super hurt or something because they sent me an owl telling me that they hated being mean to Kat. They also said that their character was usually mean and explained a bit of stuff to me as well. I was really surprised and really appreciative of it and the fact that they had thought to reach out was really impactful for me.
Anyway, writing Kat crushing has always been my favorite. I have virtually no experience with writing it, but it's always heart warming.
One of my favorite IC/OOC interactions was between me and someone who was bullying Kat. I was doing it mainly for the character development, but OOC the two of us were really enjoying it. Someone actually sent me an owl making sure that we were agreeing OOC about it and I ensure the person that we were on good terms OOC. I don't know, that's a more weird one, but talking about the thread IC and OOC was just, really fun.
Anyway, I could write a WHOLE LOT more, but for the sake of my freezing hands, I won't. Long story short, people on here are awesome, I've learned a lot and I love every part of this site.

What is your favorite setting?
My favorite setting is definitely the library. I have had the most interesting roleplays there! I love the background picture and color of the little writing spot as well. Everything about it just gives me this amazing feeling that I can write! I love it there.

What do you enjoy most about HiO so far?
I enjoy the daily writing this website offers me, along with the connection to others who share my love of Harry Potter. Everyday I can wake up and continue to shape Paisley's story into what I'd like it to be. There are so many surprises, twists, and turns in the roleplaying experience. I love how our characters guide us, instead of the other way around, and the writers have no say in what they do.

Tell me about one of your favorite scenes or IC/OOC interactions.
My favorite IC interaction was with one of Paisley's closest friends in the library. They were off to a rocky start, but when Paisley's lifestyle and her friend's interests were insulted, they became immediate friends and have been close ever since. It felt wonderful for Paisley to find such a close friend.
