GENERAL Report Your Absence

Hi dear friends!

I had a huge dissociative panic episode last night. I haven't felt like this in a few years, so needless to say, I'm pretty shook and I do not know how long the lingering feelings of anxiety/depersonalization will last.

That being said, I'm not open to any new threads at the moment, but if I owe starters to anyone, I'll try my best to finish them as soon as I can.

This is not your normal run-of-the-mill haitus because I'm still going to write during the little moments of clarity here and there, but they might be slower than usual. I really, really love this website and community and I am still very passionate about the threads that I am apart of, but my mental health + well-being needs to come first if I'm going to make it out the other side okay

Thank you for your time, everyone! I hope you're all healthy and happy. :-) I'm hoping that this whole situation will blow over faster than I anticipate it will, and I'll be back to normal soon.

Hello everyone!

School will be starting on September 3rd, and even then, I need to start finishing assignments, organizing everything and generally getting ready. I also have a very busy social life/IRL life and I may not have time to be my normally pretty active self. As well as this, there are other online matters I attend to apart from H.io and so I'll be spending time on other sites more as well. And of course, there's mental health and just looking after myself, not getting stressed out too much.

Replies will be slow, and it really depends on how tired or enthusiastic I am on that day when I sit down in front of my laptop and work my way through the threads queue. I'm aiming for one reply every 2-3 days, but that may not be possible sometimes. Thread requests will barely stay open, but owls and DMs? Don't hesitate, as always.

All in all, I'll be less active that *normal* (which wasn't even very normal, because of corona) but still responding to threads - slowly.

I already have posted a message like this, but, starting tomorrow, classes start for me. Replies will be slow, and i’ll try to answer any owls. This week will be a more active week, but as work starts to pile up, i’ll be much less active. If you have threads planned with me, please let me know so i can prioritize them.

I am not going to be on starting tomorrow. Not even a little bit. I am going with my family to a cabin in the mountains that has zero wifi. ZERO. Yeah, there will be no way for me to be on. Which I guess, taking a break is a good thing. I will be back on Tuesday, I am not leaving the site forever (don't worry), and I will be able to catch up with replies since pretty much the whole site has started slowing down for me. It's literally only going to be, like, four days, but I will really miss you all!
I am mentioning a few people here, but will be owling a few in particular to clarify on some things.
I will be open most of today for owls if you have any questions!
