Alan still was not exactly sure what to do with his time after he had been caught. Impatiently he would walk from one corner of the assigned prison area to the other, seeming to get more and more restless with every passing minute. He really was not good when it came to standing still or simply being patient and waiting for the next thing to happen, so this was what he would do. He would occasionally glance over to Rafael just to make sure that he was not missing the signal that would allow him to move and go ahead with the next action which would be to exchange at least one more of the flags to make sure that the Hogwarts team would end this game as the winning team. He was slowly getting ready to take a dash for the flag to replace it with one of their own and if Rafael were to give the signal, that would be the first and maybe last thing he would do during this game. Hopefully he would not land in the prison again because he hated not being able to do anything and just watch the game. However he knew he just had to be faster than he was last time and with that his gaze was already on his target.

@Rafael D'SpacitoKeeper though I am, nobody is perfect. Thus, I learned the hard way when the girl who I had initially attempted to elbow slipped past my defenses and swapped the flag before I could twist around for a second chance to tag her. Not one for giving my opponents second chances, I had hightailed it the moment I noticed things going South. Huffing with a mixture of frustration, I watched as Greta claimed a flag. Like I said, fitting. You win some, you lose some. Perhaps Lady Luck would smile on me yet...
And I would need all the luck I could get, setting my sights on one of the most attacked bases that I could not thus far. Base one. No guard, two attackers. A free base in my opinion.
I would have none of it.
This was something that always annoyed Piérre to no end, when I would place my stocky build directly in front of the thing that he desperately wanted, and with my strong frame and efficient stamina, it should be no issue for me to attempt to absorb and block physical blows, turning them aside and in the process, tagging them.
Planting myself firmly in front of the flag, hardly half a foot away, I attempt to puff my chest and set my shoulders back, physically making myself look bulkier and a mere two inches taller from my typical 5' height.

Of course the Americans were a threat and taking the lead and holding it. Why wouldn’t they? Though they were a small team they had to show up against the other two schools. Ilvermorny was not one to be pushed aside. That’s why it wasn’t a surprise when their fifth base was quickly snagged right from them. Even with their best efforts, they couldn’t help that there were people that were quicker.
He wouldn’t spend any time moping about it and as soon as their flag was taken out, Everett bolted. He was not going to be captured by someone. He was one too proud, too competitive. Too invested in trying to capture the attention of a certain referee to let himself be captured. His legs carried himself towards the center of the field as he quickly looked around for his next option.
The jailbreak made the playing field as chaotic as it started. A full free for all as some continued to guard and others who finally got to taste freedom ran to recapture or try something new. His eyes spotted base 7, and shrugged. Better than any other one for now. He took a hefty sigh before gunning for his new goal.Stats || Stamina 8 / Evasion 6 / Strength 6 / Wisdom 7 / ArcPower 4 / Accuracy 5

Cielle barely acknowledged the Hogwarts student's attempt at capturing her, far too focused on freeing Alexei. She only really took notice of him when he shouted and called them cowards. [IN ENGLISH] "Oh, fuck off," she told him sweetly. "The way I see it, you're just a sore loser."
Her smile faded into a scowl when the jailbreak was announced and she threw the cute - well, not so cute now - moderator a venomous look of contempt. Of course he would announce it now, just as Hogwarts was losing. It only just occurred to her that the way this game was set up was rather unfair. Why weren't there refs from all three schools? That would have a lot fairer - for all of the schools.
"Ha! I knew you were fond of me. Much appreciated, dorogaya."
Classic Alexei. [IN RUSSIAN] "Shut up, I wasn't helping you. I'm trying to win this game," Cielle said, rolling her eyes at him. She couldn't help but flash a grin at him, though - he was very, very irritating, but rather amusing all the same. "And don't call me dorogaya. I have a name, you might as well use it."
"Base 7 is completely unguarded, so why don't you continue your acknowledgment of your love for me and help me capture it?"
Honestly, this boy was impossible. Cielle wanted to slap the smirk right off his face. But he was right - Base 7 was unguarded, and although one of the Ilvermorny boys was already heading over, he didn't stand a chance if the two of them headed over together. With a groan, she took off after Alexei, blue flag at the ready. "This doesn't mean I love you!"

As arrogant and cocky as the fourteen year old boy might seem, he was surprisingly innocent and not immune to the alluring charms of a beautiful girl - even if she was in the opposing team. He wanted to win, of course. But when the girl [LYDIA] was shoved forward by her so-called friend, he could not help but catch her. It was not intentional, not at all. He was not some hero that was attempting to save her from falling. However, she pretty much fell into him and being the brick wall that he was built to be, he ended up staying still and preventing her from smacking straight into the ground.
"Are you... okay?" He asked, which was likely the nicest thing that she was going to get out of him. Honestly, he was a little surprised at her friend's 'coldness', leaving her there. If the other girl [ARIANA] failed to escape or secure the base then this one [LYDIA] was automatically going to be imprisoned because... well, she was pretty much in his arms at this point. Seemed kind of harsh, even to the meanie that was Arjan.
His usual smirk quickly placed on his lips, masking any small hints of niceness that might have seeped through earlier, "Well..." He started, going back to her earlier question, "If he was your boyfriend, he might have a problem with this..." He added, motioning to the fact that she was super close to him. Not that it mattered to Arjan. It was just another person to beat up if the boy [RAFAEL] had a problem, "I don't mind, of course though. You look even more beautiful from this close up," He added with a smirk.
In reality, they were not that close. He was not holding on to her or holding her close, nothing like that. But if she had not stepped back after he caught her, then she'd still be closer to him than she probably wanted to be. He had zero intentions of pushing her away, even if it meant losing the flag.

It was redemption time. Karilyna stood laser-focused before the sixth base, a tiny warrior defending precious territory. Expressive brown eyes had been reduced to slits and fingers flexed as she watched the attacker's [Vita's] approach ─ losing base seven had been humiliating for the girl, and she knew she couldn't afford to give up this one as well. The crushing feeling of failure still lingered, weighing on her conscience, and the resultant anger spurred her on. She wasn't about to lose this for Ilvermorny.
Attempting to gauge the attacker's distance from the tent, she lunged forward, extending her small fingers outwards. She couldn't fail; she couldn't lose this one too. As her fingertips brushed fabric ─ undoubtedly the very surface of the opponent's shirt ─ satisfaction coursed through Karilyna, the beginnings of a smirk lightening her glare of concentration. Finally.
But the happiness at her triumph was quickly replaced by dismay as the commentator announced a jailbreak. She knew it was bound to happen ─ out of fairness, if nothing else ─ but the announcement was strangely crushing, washing away any sense of fulfillment. Now that everyone was released from each prison, more players were in action. The tiny ─ yet powerful, of course ─ Ilvermorny team was now faced with as much competition as in the beginning, and Karilyna could feel her optimism begin to dwindle, sucked away bit by bit as she watched a mass of players emerge from their temporary captivity.
Still, she believed in her teammates. They seemed hopelessly outnumbered, but hadn't they already proved that numbers weren't everything? With some smart moves and quick thinking, Ilvermorny could win this. All they had to do was the right thing.
Though her foot was tapping and body practically vibrating simply because of her want to jump headlong into the action, to join those flying across the field to win their team more bases, she was smart enough to know it wasn't the best way to go. A couple of her teammates seemed to already be on top of that, anyway, opting to fight others for possession of new territory rather than fend off threatening attackers, and so Karilyna stood her ground. It was time for Ilvermorny to fight for what was theirs.

Capture the Base

RPing as iNPC Rudolf Novikov
@Anastasia Beckett (Alexei) | @Ivy Bellamy (Cielle)
Watching Petrov and Johansen flirt with each other as they ran off to secure another base put a smirk on Dolf's face. He was feeling fully redeemed after the capture of Base Four, and even though he hadn't gotten any "Good work, Novikov," or "Thanks for rescuing my ass from prison, Novikov," he couldn't deny that it felt good to regain the lead. As long as Durmstrang kept its fighting spirit burning bright, they'd have no trouble winning this game.
Then again, that was easier said than done. All three of the schools were putting up a good fight now that they'd each had a taste of first place. Students were racing across the field, flocking in and out of jails and tearing down banners with every passing second. As Dolf hovered at the edge of Base Four, he realized that running blindly back into the fray wasn't the smartest idea. Sure, maybe he'd capture another base, but Durmstrang could just as easily lose two more. Dolf had carried his weight in the past few rounds: capturing bases, forming alliances, freeing prisoners. It was time for him to trade in his offensive strategy for something more level-headed.
Dolf took a long, deep breath to calm his leaping heart and settled into a slow stroll, patrolling the boundaries of Durmstrang's new base. His eyes darted from player to player as they crisscrossed the field, on the lookout for anyone that might wander too far into his territory. It was almost relaxing, being on defense — relaxing in the sort of way that kept all of your muscles tensed and ready to give chase at any second. As Dolf came around the back side of the base for the second time, giving the area another glance, he realized that he was actually enjoying the change of pace. It definitely made him feel important.
If nothing drastic happened, maybe he'd stick around here for a while.

Rafael’s eyes widened in anticipation, rough hands tightening upon the megaphone he clutched as a malicious grin crept over his features, an exact reflection of his own inward feelings. It would seem that the boy’s declaration of liberation would come with a whole new torrent of action this particular round, a fact anyone would be quick to notice upon watching the events of the playing field – there were, of course, the obvious signs, in specific the numerous players now inhabiting the field, a number that had very nearly been doubled as campers once imprisoned scattered about the vibrant green grass, each man and woman keen on finding for themselves and their team glory in the name of friendly competition. And glorious it was. With every moment that ticked on, the young Captain couldn’t help but lean forward, his eyes glinting with something akin to mischief as he watched with excitement the breathtaking yet tumultuous fifth chapter of the game. It would seem to him that Ilvermorny had found themselves tied with Durmstrang, a feat that encouraged the child in the slightest, all the while leaving him a tad uneasy – Hogwarts was pinned, with only one measly location to their name, most likely the result of the team’s offensive players being imprisoned. But no matter – the tables were fit to be turned, now that the field saw itself full of the Golden Team’s contestants, a force that outnumbered the four-man attack squad of Ilvermorny nearly three-to-one.
Right?
It was too much to consider for the Gryffindor, who had already reached his quota for creative talent in the twenty-five minutes he’d been commentating. Scratching his neck, grin never fading, the boy couldn’t help but glance over at his co-commentator silently, wiggling his eyebrows as he gestured towards the bustling field. “It looks as if we’re in for a change of ownership,” he lamented hopefully, an edge of excitement to his voice. Then, shrugging his shoulders in a stretching matter, the Gryffindor turned himself back towards the field, blowing out his lips in an air of endearing impatience. “Here’s to hoping our friends snatch a win for Hogwarts.” An off comment, and far from impartial – even so, he couldn’t help but root for the Golden Team, the very school in which he inhabited. “I think we can take it back,” he reassured himself quietly, before looking over at Tyr once more, a solemn smile on his face. “It’s not over until it’s over, right?” Surely, keeping in mind the events of the Blossom Ball. “We’ve faced worse. What’s one game of Capture the Flag?”

──────Arjan & Romeo v Lydia & Ariana & Cassius──────Hogwarts could be summarized in an assortment of adjectives. Cowards were not one of them.
Following the call for liberation compliments of the commentators’ area, the first base would shortly find the action it had been awaiting for the past few minutes – for young women having only suffered through a couple of near-death experiences, part-veelas Ariana and Lydia sure knew how to react to an opening. It must have been a fickle sight for the unfortunate Arjan, for he would not have but a moment to contest their escape, the Hogwarts campers scattering upon the field at a safe enough distance from their opponent in a moment’s notice. An unconscious reflex? Had the ladies been waiting? No matter. It seemed as if the tag team was preparing to contest the undefeated fourth year, a rather ambitious decision if the commentator did say so himself, though it brought him no solace to see two of his favorite classmates pitching themselves against so dangerous an opponent. Thankfully, they would not find themselves alone in their attempt – trailing not far behind them was Base IV veteran Cassius Eden, another member of the Golden Team having just escaped from the wrath of Durmstrang. So Arjan was outnumbered… this, however, would not remain the case for long. Perhaps it was the sight of a teammate in need that caught the gaze of Durmstrang Keeper Romeo, or perhaps it was the concept of defending one of the three bases keeping his team even with the Ilvermorny students. Whatever the case, it would leave Hogwarts with quite the challenge to overcome – after all, this was a showdown at its finest. The question was, who would take the title?
Unfortunately, Hogwarts had something Durmstrang did not – mad seduction skills. In the least, this was a skill proudly flaunted by the lovely Lydia Cooper, whether she had been aware of her veela heritage or not. Though the base was a good ways away, it would take but a moment for the boy to figure out what was going on – at the very sight of the Hufflepuff’s actions, the Gryffindor would turn red-faced, words sputtering out of his mouth before he could even control his reaction. “Lydia! Wh – “ However, there would be no time for shock and outrage, not when the siege of Base I was underway. Distracted, Arjan would be able to pay no mind to the other former captive slipping behind his back – Cassius’s luck would prove to be similar, though evading Romeo Marchonne would be a difficult task, the Ravenclaw’s feet quick as he narrowly dodged the hand of his opponent. To be expected from a Keeper, the commentator supposed. The blue flag hanging from the rafters would shortly be replaced with a brilliant gold one, a color almost alien to the Gryffindor Captain’s eyes – “Hogwarts captures Base One!” Rafael spoke into his megaphone, unable to contain his raw excitement. He, of course, was too caught up in the celebration to have seen the tagging of Arjan, and the escape of Romeo. Hogwarts had finally caught a break!- Roll Tracker -Is Arjan seduced? ──────Phylicia v Miranda──────Phylicia, Base II veteran, was undoubtedly a difficult opponent to face.
This was, of course, no secret, given her impressive track record on the field – being a member of the four-man army that was Ilvermorny, it seemed as if her skill would speak for itself, her maneuvers and careful decision-making leaving her with a winning streak impressive on all standards. [Was it careful decision-making? Rafael would think absently. Or luck?] However, such a challenge would do little to deter a team as resilient as Hogwarts – once a prisoner of the Ilvermorny Base, Miranda Everest surely wasn’t keen on disregarding the forbidden territory, nor would she feel any distaste towards the dangers of facing the seasoned soldier. What was it that drove her? Rafael would not know, for her eyes could only tell so much. Regardless, stepping up towards her opponent with a fervor akin to a warrior, Miranda would take a quick glance at her surroundings in the hopes of picking up on any more immediate dangers, before her eyes would narrow in on the flag – this was war at its finest, but it wouldn’t be an easy one to win, not for either of the ladies. The pair was evenly-matched. Now, who would succeed in stealing away the base?
It was unfortunate, that Phylicia found herself well-prepared for the attack. Keen eyes trailing her opponent like a lion watching its prey, it would be all too easy for the attentive Ilvermorny camper to subdue the poor Ravenclaw girl – a simple sidestep would be all it took to halt the girl’s siege, her fingertips brushing the outfit of the Hogwarts attacker. A shame, and Miranda had just been freed from captivity. From the commentators’ position, a small frown would begin to grow on the Gryffindor announcer’s face, a scowl spreading across his handsome mug – Rafael glowered in the direction of the Ilvermorny defender, none too pleased that they had stolen away another beloved Hogwarts camper. “Suppose we can’t catch them all,” he muttered bitterly, loud enough for his co-commentator to hear him. Then, lifting the megaphone to his lips, “Ilvermorny retains possession of the second base!” Distance poisoned his vocals. “Tough luck, Hogwarts.” It would be all that he would say, before turning to the next base. Perhaps the Golden Team’s streak would continue yet.

──────Cash Ironwoods──────Durmstrang was, admittedly, a strong team. Unfortunately, everyone made mistakes every once in a while.
Being a team of only eight, it was understandable that they might accidentally disregard their Third Base location. An unfortunate mistake for them, but certainly not for Hogwarts. To no surprise to the Gryffindor commentator, it would take a Slytherin to sniff out weakness in the defenses of another team – Cash Ironwoods, in specific, would catch sight of the lone base, its blue flag waving solemnly in the breeze as a cloud passed over the barren field, a foreshadowing of the siege that was about to take place. It would be an easy capture, no? Rafael knew not what the girl’s reasoning may have been, but she certainly was onto something, her hands threading through the blue flag in favor of promptly replacing it with a golden one. A victory for Hogwarts! The Gryffindor commentator would release a shout of victory, his fist flying to the air at the indication of another location in Hogwarts’ favor. “Way to go, Cass!” he would yell once again, his voice full of the excitement he felt. Then, lifting the megaphone to his lips, “Hogwarts claims the third base!”Cash, uncontested, captures the third base.
Base IV
──────Greta & Rudolf──────Durmstrang Base IV was well fortified. A shame it didn’t see any action.
Well… perhaps there was a good reason no one dared face the formidable stronghold that was the Fourth Base. After all, those guarding its facets were far from weak – taking the left wing of the base was Durmstrang veteran Rudolph Novikov, having just returned from liberating his teammates with the lovely Cielle. Being a fourth year and… well, he didn’t have a bad face either… he could easily be stamped as an intimidating vision to see, his very presence a threat to all who dared contest his team’s location. And taking the right wing was another opponent none too easy to contest – chaser Greta Franssen was a powerful adversary on a broom, a fact that would become increasingly evident in the coming Durmstrang game… but off? It was true, Greta had found herself with a bout of misfortune during the span of the present competition. However, it was only a matter of time before the misfortune sought another target, leaving the girl with her own raw talent.
The two would find no opponents. No one dared gaze in their direction, let alone contest their might – it seemed as if Durmstrang had played their cards well this time. From the commentators’ position, a certain Gryffindor Captain couldn’t help but scowl as he gazed upon the turn of events in distaste. “They’re not – I mean, they can’t be that problematic!” he pouted, throwing his hands into the air. These were, of course, bold words for a boy sitting on the sidelines, but being the hypocritical twelve-year-old he was, Rafael wouldn’t acknowledge this fact in the slightest. Rather, setting himself in a stance, the boy would continue to ball up his fists, shutting one eye and gazing out the other in a narrowed manner. “I could take the big one,” he noted aloud, punctuating his words with a silent slug of the fist. Then, realizing he had a job to see to, he shortly picked himself up, his hands scrambling for the megaphone he’d only just set down. “Durmstrang retains Base IV!” he sputtered into the air hurriedly. Then, under his breath, “Uncontested…again…”
Rudolf and Greta, uncontested, retain possession of the third base.
Base V
──────Slava & Vita v Amadea & Lizzie──────The showdown of the round. Base V.
It was, allegedly, time to wreak some revenge on their Durmstrang captors – had the ladies discussed their plans? Were they simply on the same page? Rafael wouldn’t be able to tell from afar. Whatever the case, however, it would be all too obvious that Lizzie and Amadea, newly-liberated members of the Golden Team, had set their gaze upon the blue base, their intentions more than clear as they advanced on the scene of their imprisonment. Revenge, however, wouldn’t be so easy, not with tag team Slava and Vita on defender duty. Having waged war on many a location, they were certainly a danger, though they had fallen once or twice to the hands of the other factions. It would seem as if the playing field was even this time, the cards being too close to tell for certain who would take the title. Who would win? Alas, only time would tell.
Amadea would advance first. From afar, it would be difficult to tell her tactics – she, however, seemed to move like the wind itself, her steps careful as she dodged her opponent in one careful movement. Lizzie, too, found herself slipping past Vita, though her attempt looked to be a bit more difficult, Vita’s hand just nearly grazing her clothing… it would be all too easy to replace the blue flag with a golden one, securing the Fifth Base for Hogwarts. Vita, being a few feet away, escaped with no contest as she fled from the scene of her defeat… however, Slava wasn’t so lucky. Upon his own escape attempt, he would feel a firm tap on the shoulder, a firm notification that his freedom had been abruptly cut short. A shame for his team, as he was a valuable player. But a victory for Hogwarts! Rafael could feel no such shame, his focus instead on the advances of the Hogwarts Team – his grin growing, he shoved a fist into the air, announcing his support for the two successful ladies. “Yeah, Lizzie!” he would cheer. Then, lifting the megaphone to his lips once again, “Hogwarts snatches the fifth base from Durmstrang! Nice work, ladies!”

──────Karilyna──────Base six would remain silent, no one coming to contest the fearsome creature that was Karilyna Kawahara or her terrifying aura. A wise decision, one would have to concude. But no such declaration would justify cowardice – not, at least, in the eyes of the hypocritical commentator. Rafael’s nose would scrunch up visibly, his chin jutted forward in a sign of the disdain he felt. “Stupid Ilvermorny,” he would pout, almost like a child. “It’s only one person!” A terrifying person, granted, but still. “Ilvermorny retains the sixth base!”
Karilyna, uncontested, retains possession of the sixth base.
Base VII
──────Alexei & Cielle v Rett──────With the fates of six bases decided, there was only one more to see to. Hogwarts’ pride and joy, the only possession sustaining them in their last round of activity seemed to be in imminent danger – with no one to defend the lovely seventh location, capturing a base was no longer a dodging competition, but a running one, this time specifically between Durmstrang and Ilvermorny. Representing the Russian Team was resident-potty mouth Alexei Petrov, followed closely by war veteran Cielle Johanson. Both formidable opponents, having had plenty of experience in both arts of evading and escaping… however, would they stand a chance against one of the American faction? Once Rett set his gaze on a target, he was loathe to abandon it, especially to a group that was threatening to the superiority of his own team. There was no real danger here, not until the flag would be secured… so, who would reach it first? Durmstrang or Ilvermorny?
The three players would advance forward, but it seemed as if luck had prevailed in favor of the Russians this time – Alexei Petrov, neck-and-neck with the Ilvermorny player, would succeed in his siege only by mere luck, his hand clicking a blue flag in place of the golden one a mere moment before his opponent – Rett, cornered by the change in possession, would have no choice to flee from the scene, leaving Durmstrang victorious. An unfortunate vision for both Hogwarts and Ilvermorny Teams – Rafael couldn’t help but wince at the blue flag waving in the wind, a look of distaste upon his face as he brought the megaphone to his lips. “Durmstrang claims the seventh base! A close one!” Hogwarts should have been there. Regardless, looking back would solve nothing. He would only have to hope for the best moving forward.
