May felt tired of hearing Ariana and Sky arguing. They were always arguing, every single time May saw them together they were shooting back angry words at each other as thought they were in this 300 war movie or something. May's face grew paler and paler as they talked throughly and she looked at the paint that was spilled on the floor. "Scourgify" she whispered, and pointed her wand at the floor.
May looked over her shoulder at the voice that was telling someone to be nice. That voice was familiar. Something boiled inside May, as she turned around suddenly to look at her friend- no, not her friend. Her enemy. May's hands were shaking. How could she turn up here, where she was as thought she was invisible, talking with her friend Ariana? How could she sooth her like best friends when she had betrayed her twice? She had been hanging out with that Zykeal guy, and not with her. She had said that it was all her fault (May's) when she was sticking up to her. And now, she was talking with somebody that had been her friend. Not now anyways. No friend of Ivy's was a friend of hers.
She blinked off tears and looked at her. Her biggest desire was to punch her in the face, start out a fight, right there, and they would hate each other for the rest of their life's. She shot her a you - will - pay look, and advanced forward. She couldn't see her. She had her back on her. She advanced, fast and faster, each step wanting to go back to where she was until--
*SMACK!*
May's hand hit Ivy's cheek with a outrageous noise. She had snaked her. May started to cry. Why had she done that? Why was she so- evil? She looked at Ivy, her hand still in mid air and looked at her face. Nobody else was there but her and her complicated friend. Or ex-friend.

Caradoc's eyes slowly followed Nora's gestures as she closed in and started to work on his face. His heart began to pound heavily in his chest, his throat started running dry. The Head of Hufflepuff tried keeping in his breath as much as he could, to not blow straight in her face. Fingers were clenching themselves on the table, trying to get him in a more secure position. But she was right there, how was he supposed to focus? Or react? His gaze briefly flickered over to her lips before realising the students should not see. Averting them upwards he was met with her eyes. It did not help either, in a last protest he stammered a few words, but they were all nonsensical. The heat began to spread to his cheeks and neck, leaving his head in a flushed state.
There was no need for her to tell him to sit still. His body was frozen in place as he simply saw no way out without making things either weird or awkward, or both. How was he expected to remain professional with her just an inch from his own face. His eyes stole a few glances at a time. In a way, he could find this amusing. The problem was that he just failed to figure out how to react to the situation. It did not stop him from admiring her now that he had the front row seat. She did look lovely today. She always did, he admitted to himself. Her hair had been nice when she let it down, even though he always appreciated her braids. He knew a thing or to about braids himself these days, he realised. Zahid had given him one book regarding them. While the man apparently liked sending him books with odd themes, Caradoc had decided to go through them anyway. And some of them actually came in handy when you were trying to impress a teenage daughter.
He was about to comment on Nora in front of him when she turned abruptly out of the way. A bright yellow paint brush flashed towards his face and smeared a wide stroke of wet paint across his face. Dividing his head in a diagonal line. In an instant, Caradoc started spitting air to try and keep the paint from entering his mouth. His hands reached upwards and tried to wipe off most of the paint around his mouth and left eye. Looking up, his eyes locked with his attacker's. "What the bloody hell do you think you're doin-"
His smile would quickly fade as he heard a loud smack not far away. May had just hit another girl. Staring at the girl and stepping forward, his path was interrupted by Nora already marching towards the pair to deal with the situation. Nodding to himself, he took a halt and kept watch from a distance. Nora was perfectly able to handle students. He would be near if she needed May's Head of House to interfere.

The professors were likely far too hopeful. @Artemis Vernatis just wanted to have a bit of fun. It was summer, after all. They deserved a bit of fun. He believed that the two Heads of Houses are the event were perhaps the two professors that needed to relax the most - and yet, he was about to find out exactly why they could not.
Hjørdis mentally sighed as she started hearing slightly raised voices. She was almost done with outlining the badger she was drawing on Caradoc's cheek when she noticed it was starting to escalate. Without a word, she turned immediately and started to move towards the sounds. The smirk on her face had quickly faded. Turning her attention towards the the group of girls, she sighed and made her way over.
Perhaps it was sheer luck or quick evasive reactions... But somehow the paint attack that Artemis had launched on her [Roll + Acc: 21] narrowly missed her as she turned suddenly [Roll + Eva: 23]. She did not even really notice he was going for her but somehow, she had managed to narrow escape the attack - resulting in Caradoc getting hit instead.
But of course there was trouble. It was impossible to have a nice event without there being some sort of trouble - Hogwarts was known for that. Her former good mood had vanished in an instant. She recognised some of the students far better than others. @Sky Evans was one of her own, which was always rather disappointing to see.@Ivy Bellamy had already been caught in trouble once by her not too long ago - and successfully evaded being punished for it, but would the same luck hold up twice? Perhaps this time she would, given she currently looked like the victim. @May Moonstar was one of the Hufflepuff team's players and Hjørdis had to question the sanity of why she would risk her spot in tomorrow's game for something. Hitting someone? Not very sportspersonlike! The other two Gryffindors, @Ariana Walker and @Janet Jackson were not people she had been able to personally get to know. Alas there were just too many students.
"There had better be a very good explanation..." She snarled at the group of students she had approached, mostly looking at the Hufflepuff who had acted violently. Her silver eyes narrowed at the familiar faces of clearly rather foolish students. Disagreements were common within any environment. But this had escalated into a clear as day fight. In front of multiple professors. It was as though they were asking for trouble. She observed the group with her usual blank expression turned slightly more sour, slightly colder and visibly a tad bit more irked. "You have approximately thirty seconds each to explain what is happening here. You start, then go around the group - do not talk over each other, unless you would like to be confined to your tents for the rest of the camp," She looked at the closest person [WHOEVER POSTS NEXT] to ask them to start.
Hjørdis really did not want to run detentions during the summer camp but... it seemed like that might end up becoming this evening's task unless someone had a very solid explanation. Her eyes looked at Ivy for a moment, frowning slightly as she wondered if the Gryffindor was alright. The Professor had absolutely no clue if it was warranted or not but she would soon find out...

This was the last thing Ivy expected to happen when she had come to the crafting activity that afternoon - even when she had decided to intervene in the argument. Perhaps a few harsh words, maybe even some shouting, but not this. Never this.
As May's hand made contact with her cheek, Ivy couldn't help but jolt backwards, as if she had been shocked with lightning. The sound of the slap resounded loud and clear through the area, and May was starting to sob, but yet Ivy remained silent, still too stunned to react. Why was May crying? Ivy wondered, pressing a shaking hand to her burning cheek. Were they angry tears? Should she be angry? It didn't matter. The Gryffindor was feeling something even deeper than that already - betrayal and confusion. She would have never expected May to hit her, of all people. The May she knew, the May she had grown up with, wouldn't hurt a fly... but then again, Ivy didn't know her anymore, did she? It was clear that in the months between the 2019 summer and the Ball, something had changed in both girls.
She hit me. She actually - hit - me.
Tears began to fill her eyes, but they weren't from the searing pain in her cheek. She swallowed a few times, trying to find something to say. What could she say in this situation? What was she meant to say? How could she fix this? Was it even possible to fix it right now, when it had gone so far already? "Do you really hate me so much?" Ivy finally said, still staring at the ground. She couldn't even look at her - if their friendship wasn't done already, then it was now.
That was all she could get out before a familiar voice clipped through the air. Ivy's head snapped up, staring at Professor Jensen, her expression a mixture of shock and horror. The whole situation was almost funny, really - Ivy had only intervened to stop the professors from coming to and now... well, she had only made it worse, hadn't she? The Gryffindor stood up, her shaking legs turning to jelly. She was a little scared of how pissed off Professor Jensen looked, to be honest, and avoided looking her in the eyes, recalling their last encounter. "I - I came over because that girl (Sky) was shouting Ariana and Janet." Ivy winced as her cheek began to tingle painfully, briefly looking around the group before focusing on her shoes again. "She was making fun of them," she continued, "and I asked her to stop. And - and I'm not sure why, exactly - but we all just started yelling at each other - and then - well - May hit me."

Interacting with @Sky Evans - Mentioning Ivy Bellamy | May Moonstar | Snek HoH
Finding things for himself to do would be the best way to pass the time he had left here in London; this was the reason why Zykeal had showed up with a blank white shirt in hand and ready to paint a set of words that he had thought of overnight upon the clothing. In all honesty, he was tired of dealing with the wizarding community for a while and wanted to get back to the normal things that muggle life had shown him over the course of his first 11 years on this world. Of course, this wizarding community and the London quidditch stadium was too small though, as soon as he walked into the clearing in which the activities were sectioned out, he spotted both the people he was trying to avoid the most.
There was a heated argument seemingly going on and it seemed that the one Slytherin girl he had once observed teasing the girl, Ariana, over a diary was once again alone against a wall with a group of girls ganging up on her. She probably deserved it, but, Zyk hated it when the odds weren't even. Instead of intruding into the situation though, he'd walk his way along the edge and use the excuse of their argument to hopefully keep their attention off of him for the time being. Alan was spotted, he'd be a welcome person to chat with, but, the boy seemed to be talking to professors, and the one thing Zyk hated more than the prefects in the school was the professors. To be honest, he found them useless. Regardless, he'd saunter over towards one of the crafting tables that had little to no people at the area and he'd find himself paintbrush and some black paint so that he could work on his little project.
Turning to see where he could sit, he had noticed that the controversy involving the girls was over and the Slytherin girl was sitting alone and working on something. Those golden irises were peeled away from the girl to notice another that was stalking viciously over towards where Ivy was, who was not too far away. Zykeal noticed the most annoying girl in the entire world, God did Zyk hate Huffles, May approach Ivy and slap his former crush in the face. This seemed a bit awkward to him, as he assumed they were friends even though Ivy had said something about the girl at the stargazing previously, he didn't know they were at odds. There was the head of the snakes, heading over towards the girls to interfere with the petty drama of the nonsense that was ahead of him. Zykeal couldn't understand what Ivy was telling the lady, but, his focus was more inclined towards the lone one sitting at the table after having yelled at the others.
Giving Ivy a 'Why're you being a baby' look as he approached the table opposite of the girl(Sky), he'd set his stuff down in front of him and peek those golden irises across the table to see what the girl was working on. Adorned in his typical fashion, all black, the Gryffindor chose purposely never to dress in his house colors in hours where he was not required to. For this reason, his outfit consisted of his normal black torn skinny jeans, a black hoodie, and you guessed it, black vans. Taking the plain white t-shirt from across his shoulder though, one might wonder what he'd be doing with something so opposite. Well, the answer would be answered shortly as he snatched up the black paint and brush and began to write the words, 'Quidditch Is Boring', across the front of it. It was what he had been planning to wear to the game tomorrow and didn't want to disappoint those adorably annoying quidditch groupies.
After getting a few letters done in his first word though, he'd peek up towards the girl that he sat across from and nod over towards what she was working on, "Oy', cha workin on?" he said, head tilting to the side a little to observe her work. Hopefully, he could at least get in a few words with the girl he once found a bit interesting before her head of house decides to butt in. Obviously the boy wasn't trying to flirt or anything, he just needed someone new to talk to and this girl seemed to be of an attitude that he preferred to be around at the moment. She was ruthless, he needed more of that in his life and the way he handled situations. "Zyk, by the way," he mentioned, hoping she'd catch the hint of his name as he looked back down to that white shirt and started to drawl the rest of the letters of the word 'quidditch' upon the shirt.

"You ok?"
The words sharply cut through her mind, swerving to the front of her thoughts. Yet, that didn’t mean the speaker's presence was unwanted. On the contrary, Ariana was quite glad Ivy had come over. Green hues found sight with grey, her paintbrush swirling in the pot of water. She listened to Ivy rather quietly, for she felt a little ashamed of her yelling back over there. Maybe she could have let it be. Answering her question she gave a wry smile and said, “She is, I-“ Ariana was on the verge of spilling to Ivy what had happened back in the empty classroom earlier that year, what Sky had done to make Ariana hate her so badly. Yet she stayed silent, cutting off her own speech, attentive to her friends next words.
"Do you want me to go back and punch her? I mean, I don't know how to punch someone, but I'd give it my best shot,"
Ariana felt a small smile come to her face and laughed a little. “I bet you could sh-“ but she was cut off by the sound of a smack. Her head shot up in surprise, but she needn’t crane her neck to see who had done it, May. The hufflepuff had slapped Ivy while the girls back was turned! Who did such a cowardly thing?! She ignored the looks of dislike May was shooting her.
Professor Jensen made her way over but Ariana disregarded her first inquiry and without a second thought stood up again, eyes freshly alight with rage. She could see tears welling up in Ivy’s eyes now. The young beater was 100% sure that she would regret this later, but it didn’t stop her from doing so. Ariana took a few steps forward and grasped May by the shoulders, shaking her, a little too aggressively. “DONT touch her! She did nothing to you! It's cowardly to attack someone from behind! Face them if you want to fight!” The yell was quite audible pretty loud, she probably looked quite intimidating and as soon as the words tumbled from her lips she felt a twinge of regret. Hands fell back down to her sides. She wasn’t going to fight May. No. The brunette took a few steps back from the hufflepuff, still glaring at her with uttermost dislike.
“You have approximately thirty seconds each to explain what is happening here. You start, then go around the group - do not talk over each other, unless you would like to be confined to your tents for the rest of the camp,"
The second warning. Arianas senses swam back to reality, flooding through her body, refilling her with the feeling that she had temporarily been stripped of, during her attack confrontation. She felt the angry flush of her cheeks, the adrenaline and it was all she could do to stay still, although dark glares were sent towards May quite frequently. She had even forgotten about Sky, who she hadn’t spared a thought for since the slap.
As soon as Ivy finished, Ariana gave a breath and started her speech quite coldly, the words sharp and blunt. This was much unlike her and so although she had no intention of coming across as an inferior student in her professor's eyes, there was no doubt she already had. What ‘virtuous student’ yelled and shoved people in front of a professor?
“I was defending my friend. Ivy.” She said shortly, not delving into the topic any further. She kept steady eye contact, hues not shifting to any of the other girls in the slightest. No doubt she would be asked what had caused her yelling at Sky in the first place but she really couldn’t care less about that. For now. On the other hand, she couldn’t be confined to her tent for the rest of the camp, the tents were lovely, but the thought of missing out on such fun around the camp was terrifying. She knew that May, Sky and Janet were bound to accuse her of horrible things when it got round to them.
Well, lucky Ariana, running into three girls that happened to dislike her at different levels of ferocity. That wasn’t saying much however, as Ariana disliked them just as equally, if not then more. In fact it came as a mild surprise to the gryffindor that May, who was standing next to her, couldn’t feel the heat waves of hate radiating off of the fiery gryffindor.

Artemis looked on in shock as the woman he was aiming for somehow managed to slip away from his pranking paintbrush. Instead, his hand kept falling and the bristles swiped across his old school friend's face, just barely under the little badger that @Hjørdis Jensen had drawn on the man's cheek. When @Caradoc Browne sputtered and looked directly into Artemis' eyes, the younger man couldn't help but find glee at the indignant look on his friend's face and doubled over laughing. He couldn't help it and he knew that if the two of them were alone and not in front of a bunch of students, Caradoc would have probably retaliated and the two of them would be tussling like old friends on the ground as they used to as young boys. It would have been interesting to see the man embrace his inner child for once. Maybe they would end up with a paint war. Artemis would have to watch out for his friend returning paint fire at him.
The mirth that the cheery Charms professor was feeling faded away, however, when he heard the resounding SMACK coming from the bickering group of girls nearby. He had tried to ignore the group as dealing with a bunch of hormonal teenage girls was not something he wanted to deal with during the summer camp. But it seemed as if a professor's work is never done. He turned to see what he could do to end the commotion but saw that @Hjørdis had already marched over there and was giving the girls what-for. At least it wasn't him this time having to be the mean one. It was rare for Artemis to see his female colleague so worked up and angry with the students. Sure, she was usually annoyed, but even when the two of them caught their snakes out of bed and having a blasted party at one in the morning, the woman didn't seem as irritated as she was now. He didn't blame her though.
These kids just couldn't seem to get their shit together for anything. Always fighting or bickering with one another. Always getting themselves into trouble or in danger somehow. Always needing a professor to intervene because they can't seem to figure out that A) they shouldn't do things to put themselves in harm's way or B) that they don't need to fight all the time to get their points across. It was rather tiring, honestly. Today was supposed to be a great day where students and teachers alike just did arts and crafts; painted a bit or put things together to show team support. Instead, they decided to have a smackdown! Can't anything just ever be for fun these days?
He gave @Caradoc a slight nudge and nodded toward the group. "What say that after she finishes telling off those girls that we try to lighten up the mood a bit? She can't dodge the both of us if we try to get her all dolled up for the game? Have her represent your house with a bit of badger house pride? And before you say "no", think about it. When will we have another chance to actually have fun? We're constantly watching over the children and making sure they don't kill themselves or each other. This is one of the best times to embrace our inner child and just have fun with it. What do you say?"
Artemis looked up at his old friend with eyes that he hadn't used since they were little kids. Eyes that his own son seemed to perfect to get him to break down when Artemis wasn't all too serious with whatever he tried to deny the boy with originally. He could only hope that those eys worked on his old friend too.

Anger. Fear. Shame.
Those were the three words May was experiencing that moment, when she slapped Ivy in the face. And that wasn't just it. She would have never ever slapped anybody intentionally. After all, she was a Hufflepuff.
"Let go Ariana, LET GO!" she yelled at the Gryffindor, almost wanting to slap her too. Almost, she thought, because she deserves it too.
She looked at Ivy with tears in her eyes, and the most 'sorry' look you could ever imagine. But she wasn't entirely sorry. Part of her, the evil part of her, thought that her best friend deserved it. "We both deserved it, didn't we?" she said in a tiny voice, a voice that only Ivy would hear, if she listened at her closely. May had stopped crying but she was still breathing heavily as thought she had been hit by someone herself. She looked at @Hjørdis Jensen as she approached and began to do her 'professor duty'. May didn't stop looking at Ivy. "I don't hate you," she said, her voice reasonably higher than before, but still squeaky. "I thought all this time that you had changed. Has Hogwarts changed you somehow? Because we aren't in the same house? I think you're the one who hates me after all. We were best friends Ivy, and you know that. Then, you started hanging out with that Irish boy Zykeal and left me hanging alone. You think you can stop me now, huh? Well, that slap hurt me more than you think. I-it almost hurt as much as you! You know how much we loved each other? Well, now It's over. You should get a date with Zykeal soon. I'm sure it's going to be pretty romantic huh?" well, that last bit came unexpectedly. She didn't want Ivy to think Zykeal was in love with her [Ivy]. But it looked a lot like it.
She let go of her hand and ignored the professors, and the gazes that came to her, including her head of house. She didn't stop looking at Ivy. She had already explained everything in what she had said previously, and she just knew that the professors wouldn't understand. After all, they were professors. Nothing else. They wouldn't understand that Ivy had left May hanging alone, and chose Zykeal Lane over herself. They wouldn't understand that she, May, had tried to stick by her side like a honeysuckle vine and failed because there was the Blossom Ball fire, mosps, and that Lane boy in her way. They wouldn't understand that that tiny slap hadn't been for Ivy. It had been for both of them, because they were supposed to be soul sisters. Nothing else.
She turned to look at Prof. Jensen, the Slytherin Head of house. "What they said. I slapped her." she said, simply.
Now, if she wanted to give her detention then fine. She wouldn't mind a bit of supposed 'fun'.

Trying her best to not stand out too much, it was only a matter of time before someone would eventually walk up to her. Nico was one of the organisers of this event. Still in her relaxed position as she was softly munching on a muffin, the dhampir noticed someone familiar walking up to her. What was her name again... Katrina? They shared a tent together and Nico could faintly remember that they met for the first time in the Hospital Wing. Only now they had a chance to decently get to know one another or... to decently introduce themselves at least. The Prefect had no reason to feel annoyed by the Gryffindors presence except that she had hoped to be by herself just a little bit longer.
They were both dressed casually. No uniforms. Nico could easily recognise the other girl by her signature green strand of hair. Everyone would notice that. As Katrina carefully approached the redhead, Nico smiled softly at her. The environment they were in allowed her to feel less cornered. She didn't need to feel threatened by this girl. She was abit lost, just like her. 'Sure. Have a seat. There's plenty of space.' As she took a seat, her ice blue eyes couldn't help but stare at the weird snack Kat was holding. Even after two years, Nico wasn't accustomed to the Wizarding worlds special treats and candy. 'What's... that?' Her thin pale finger vaguely pointing at the sweet in her hands. It might've been an odd question. How did she not know what she had helped to put on a plate earlier today? The dhampir usually ignored food that she didn't know how to handle or just... didn't know in general. 'To... be honest, I haven't really tried it. Hah..' She smiled sheepishly, the old warm Nico showing her face again since a long while. 'I usually... stick to things I know, like... muffins.'
Suddenly, a sloppy slap could be heard from across the field they were staying in. A slap like that, followed by girls bickering and yelling at one another, couldn't go unnoticed. The prefect sighed and rubbed her head as she nearly got ready to get up. But her Head of House was faster. And she was angry. And because of that, Nico was sure that Nora could handle it. It was already crowded enough... Unless, she'd wave at her to come over and help. 'That looks... troublesome...' She muttered with a soft amused giggle. Nico could only make out a few things that had been said. Something about love? Whew. Must be... spicy. Until her Serpent Mother would decide to call her over, Nico decided she'd sit back and... watch ... over the snack table.

Sky’s paintbrush swirled skilfully across the smooth material, the strokes careful and precise. The girl had been painting for a few moments now and she had almost forgotten her previous series of yelling at Walker and the gaggle of girls that surrounded her. She was so focused on her work that she hardly noticed another familiar gryffindor approach her and sit down, nor did she notice the ongoing commotion in the background.
A loud smack punctuated it’s sound through the air, crisp with malice, pristine with hate. Sky’s head snapped upwards, brown orbs narrowed in interest. God, had Walker gone and slapped another student yet again? If she wasn’t careful [which she often wasn’t] the wretched gryffindor would end up renowned for such acts. Her temper was already certainly known, but if she continued there was a chance she would end up like the gryffindor quidditch captain; obnoxious, selfish and undeniably arrogant. However, to Sky’s mild surprise the attacker was in fact May, going for the girl who had defended Ariana. How weird.
She had to admit that there was something weirdly similar about the two brunette gryffindors. Sky hadn’t ever actually met D’Spacito but she had heard and seen enough of him to determine that him and Ariana had at least something in common. This idea wasn’t something to brood on unnecessarily however, for she was brought back to reality by the voice of her ‘companion’. Sky turned her head to be met with the gaze of golden hues, and she jolted in surprise, knocking her paint pot and catching it just in time before it spilt all over her work. She glanced back up at the person who had scared her and shot them an embarrassed glare, her cheeks flushed a furious red. Sky didn’t get embarrassed easily, but the fact that she had been caught severely off guard was certainly starling.
In her embarrassment, she almost completely forgot who the boy actually was. Her stare turned to a glare of skepticism and she set her pot down slowly, staying silent for a moment as she surveyed him and his work. ”Quidditch is... boring?” she muttered, reading the words he had begun to paint across the plain shirt. The slytherin gave a small huff and crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow.
Completely disregarding his previous question, she shot him an enquiry of her own. “Not a fan of quidditch are you?” Her voice didn’t carry its usual cold, malicious tones, yet ones of curiosity, not to mention a haughty air of pride. She was certainly a quidditch lover, and she planned to join the team soon, she just didn’t know when.
Unlike Walker, she wasn’t likely to go around punching anyone who showed negative opinions on the sport, Only joking Ariana doesn't do this >:] after all, they had their own views. Even if they were trashy So, yes she would give him a chance, although she could exactly tell why. Maybe because he didn’t seem like the other gryffindors. That said, it was unusual for her to sit so calmly in the presence of a lion, she usually would have already yelled at him to go away. Would he change that for her?
Well, instead of finding out, it seemed she had other matters to attend to. Without giving him her name, she stood up, shooting the gryffindor boy an expression, something between a grimace and a smile, before strolling off to where Professor Jensen was issuing a warning. If Zyk waited, she would be back soon enough.
Walker seemed to be violently shaking Moonstar; however Sky merely batted an eye at the sight, for she despised the hufflepuff almost much as she did Ariana. Meanwhile, she waited for the rest of the students to finish speaking, rolling her eyes at the appropriate intervals. She couldn’t care less about the whole deal to be honest, even if she was one of the main causes for their unfortunate dispute.
