It depends. Lucia would like to be semi-famous in the music world - as in, she'd love to maybe write and release an album or something that people enjoyed, but she wouldn't want to be so famous that everyone would recognise her on first glance.

Lucia barely ever makes phone calls, but she does often plan out what she will write in an owl, though her owls still tend to include a lot of crossings-out.

To herself, probably a few hours ago at most. She's often humming or singing to herself. To someone else, probably about a month or so, depending on the time of year.

The first anniversary of her aunt's death that she can remember. Each year, Ebony seems to hide away and mourn for her dead twin, and being a young child Lucia at that time didn't understand it.

Lucia loves her, and she loves Lucia. Sometimes she makes bad descisions about how to bring up Lucia and her sisters, but she does it for them and Lucia still loves her through it.

She doesn't cry infront of people very much, unless she trusts them.

She would regret not having told her family she loves them. And she has told them, she'd just want to tell them one last time.

Either her sewing box, or her radio. Probably her sewing box. It holds lots of memories for her and she treasures it.

Willow's. She's so young and carefree.

"Probably Edgar Allen Poe, I just want know what went on inside that guy's head. He's a big inspiration for me and while the horror and the macabre aren't really what I write, the way he wrote really inspires me. I also just want to comfort the guy, like he went through so much pain and turmoil in his life and eventually every shoulder he had to cry on just died. The guy needed a hug in his life."

2. Would you like to be famous? In what way?

"I mean what I want to do for a living is writing but I honestly would be completely content using a pseudonym and never getting any credit. Obviously, I'd want the royalties but never have the public know it was me writing. I think fame is something people search for because they want to be remembered or they want to leave an impact on the world but I've never really wanted that, I don't think I'm the kind of person that should look upon and influencing a lot of people's lives in some way."

3. Before making a telephone call/wizarding equivalent, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?

"No, I have a looot of things messed up with me but anxiety is not one of them. I don't normally care about I say which sometimes ends up being a bad thing because I hurt people's feelings without caring. On a call though, there's not much you can mess up since you're normally taking to a friend or ordering something. I guess when I need to make "professional calls" I'll plan it out but until then I just call people."

4. What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?

"The perfect day would start on a cool Autumn day with all my chores, which is most of the housework honestly, done. Then have my perfect breakfast, two sunny side up eggs, pork sausage, and some homemade hashbrowns. Then I would take my notebook and a packed lunch with some chips and a mustard and roast beef sandwich. I would go a bit out of town, climb up this giant tree there is, and just write all day and eat when lunch comes. When dinner comes, I'll go back into to town and go to this great diner that sells the best pulled pork sandwiches and black forest doughnuts. It involves a lot of food I know, I like food."

5. When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?

"Don't tell anyone but I normally go into the rehearsal room early every Sunday morning and just jam out on the piano and sing. I get embarrassed about it because my town thinks that singing is kind of girly and I don't really like my singing voice. One girl did catch me in there one time, she was nice though so it was chill."

6. If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?

"I don't really have the best experience with old people so probably the mind of a 30-year-old. All the elders in my town are super old and crotchety and I don't want to turn into them. They also treat me like a puppet, I guess because they think they're sooo wise and smart because they're soooo old."

7. Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?

"Not really, I mean I have these weird dreams or hallucination kind of things where my mom gets killed in various ways which are terrifying and traumatizing, but I'm always alive in them. Honestly, as long as I go down in a cool way and not from like, old age or something, then I
don't really care how I die."

8. Name three things you and the person who responded before you appear to have in common.

"Lucia and I seem to both have good relationships with our mother, although y relationship is starting to be built on more and more lies... We don't like singing in front of people nor do we cry in front of people either. I think we would get along, but she probably wouldn't like my humor."

9. For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

"I'm grateful for the basics, you know? Food, water, a roof to live under, a loving mother. I didn't have much room to be spoiled as a kid, but that's fine. I don't need a lot, as long as my mum cares about me, I don't need anything else from her. Other than that, probably the opportunity to go this school. I feel so free here and less chained to certain things like at my hometown."

10. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?

"Like I mentioned above, I really wish I wasn't as restrained as I am in my hometown. Like I get appeasing the word of the Lord and all that stuff, but I feel like the way my town does it is a bit much. Like, when I'm at Hogwarts I feel like I can do anything, well not anything, but I feel so much more free."

"So I was born on December 13th, 2007 in a hospital, and my dad wasn't present because he was on a golfing trip with his friends; this would become a pattern. The first couple years of my life were pretty uneventful, though there was a lot of arguing that I don't remember very clearly. When I was six, my mum finally divorced my dad. I had my first magical experience when I appeared on the roof because I didn't want to go to the courthouse again. My dad took off when the divorce was finalized and we haven't heard from him since. I got my letter for Hogwarts as expected since both my parents were wizards. I've finished up my First Year at Hogwarts where, most notably, I got sorted into Slytherin, I started having weird vision-like dreams, and I got poisoned by a giant spider, still have some discoloration from where the poison entered."

12. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability (NOT a super power, like, a regular human ability), what would it be?

"I wish I was smart, like actually smart. I get good grades and all, but that's just because I'm good at regurgitating information, actually smart-wise I'm not the brightest. It would just be so cool if someone asked me something and I just always knew the answer off the top of my head."

13. If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?

"I'd probably want to know where my dad is right now. It's not like I want to tell him off or to beg him to come back, I just want to know why he did it. Why did he put me and my mother into this position without regard for anyone but himself? It'd also be nice if he would actually start paying my mum child support."

14. Is there something that you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?

"I've been wanting to go to the coast since I was really little. I've lived right in the center of Scotland my entire life and I've never been to the coast and seen the ocean ever. The main problem is my mother, she hates the ocean and her work schedule is too tight for us to take a nice trip down there. Plus, I never learned to swim so it's not like I could go in. I guess learning to swim would be first on my agenda."

15. What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?

"I don't really know, I haven't really done much in my life yet. I guess it's pretty cool that I practically got straight O's in school so far miraculously. I'm not the smartest, but I guess I'm pretty good at regurgitating information. I would say my writing, but I think I would need to actually publish my novels for them to be considered 'accomplishments'."

16. What do you value most in a friendship?

"Above all else, I just want my friend to have a good sense of humor. I tend to cope with jokes so if my friend can't joke with me, then it's probably going to be a very awkward friendship."

17. What is your most treasured memory?

"When I was younger, during the summers, I would be home alone most of the time because my mother was at work. When she got home later that night, though, we would order takeout and then just watch cheesy movies until we fell asleep. We haven't done it in a while... I miss it."

"Definitely when I got bitten by those weird spiders in the Slytherin common room. They hit my right in one of my arteries and my entire body was writhing in pain. To this day, I still wake up in a cold sweat thinking about how much pain I was in. My skin is still ashen where the spider's venom entered."

19. If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living? Why?

"I would probably interact with more people if I knew I was going to die in a year.I tend to just keep my distance from people and just try to pass through the school year as calmly as possible, though that hasn't succeeded that well, but if I was going to die in a year, I can't wait until adulthood to go on a bunch of adventures."

20. What does friendship mean to you?

"Friendship is being in a relationship with someone that doesn't require you to care about what you say. If you're friends with someone, you can talk to them about anything... well maybe not anything... and they won't care."

21. What roles do love and affection play in your life?

"Where I come from boys are pretty discouraged from showing their emotions because that's too "girly". I guess it's pretty dumb, but it's pretty ingrained in me to no be that affectionate. I tend to be slow to love or trust people. I guess it has something to do with how my dad treated me when I was a child, I just don't want to let someone as easily as I did."

"Hmm.. I guess I actually do like my singing voice. A lot of people say it's pretty good, but I make myself think I don't. I think it's because I feel guilty singing and that's my way of punishing myself. I wouldn't admit this to anyone, even myself, but I think I actually care about how my words affect others. I don't know, I guess I like my appearance. I've always wanted something different about me, but I guess I look pretty good for a brown-haired, brown-eyed boy with no defining features."

23. How close and warm is your family? Do you feel your childhood was happier than most other people’s?

"Me and my mother are pretty close considering we don't see each other for most of the day. Compared to most families, we're definitely not the happiest, but we still get along just fine. We're definitely a broken family, though, lose any contest compared to your local nuclear family."

24. How do you feel about your relationship with your mother?

"Like I said before, we're pretty close considering our situation. I love her a lot, and we both would definitely sacrifice a lot for the other. Lately, though, I've been lying to her a lot for her own sake. The biggest lie in particular is that I've been hiding my new pygmy puff, Chance, from her since she doesn't want me to have him."

"I don't really have a best friend. I don't get along with a lot of kids in my town so I don't have any childhood friends. As for my First Year at Hogwarts, I didn't really make any friends. He kind of wanted to just pass through his school life peacefully, but that hasn't exactly gone as planned."

"I wish I had someone with whom I could share my feelings with. I always feel like I'm not allowed to feel my emotions as a dude, but I genuinely want to let my feelings out to someone for once."

"Well, Lucia, it seems that you're not a big fan of dark humor, which is completely fine. However, I find the best way for me to cope with my problems is to joke about it so we're going to need to have a discussion on what humor upsets you so I can avoid making those jokes."

Genuinely, I think you have a really fleshed out character for only being on this site for a couple of months. I know I only recently knew where I wanted to take my character, and how his backstory effects his current life and I've been on the site for an entire year.

"Cut back to when the spiders attacked the Slytherin common room in my First Year. I wasn't prepared for that fight, but I ignored everyone's advice and fought anyway. I ended up starting a fire, including setting one girl's hair on fire. I made the situation more dangerous all so I could play hero. I'm pretty embarrassed about all the damage I caused."

"I've not cried in front of anyone, including my mother, other than when I was like a small child and I got hurt or something. In secret, I cry in my sleep quite a lot. I don't admit it a lot, but I deal with a lot of problems with identity and self worth, which causes me to just break down and cry quite a lot."

31. What's something you like about your worst enemy?

"I don't really a 'worst' enemy, but I do have a lot of people who don't like me. I'm pretty agressive and tend to start fights with a lot of people, especially the kids in my village. I guess I do it to prove something to myself and my town that I am this like macho man."

"I think if you're dealing with something like death, sickness, or mental illnesses then if that helps you cope, joke about it as long as the people you're joking with won't get triggered or upset. Obviously, though, if you're joking about something that dehumanizes people, especially if it's a joke on someone's gender, race, sexuality, religion, etc., then that's utterly too far in every way."

33. If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven’t you told them yet?

"I still need to to apologize to the girl whose hair I set on fire. I feel extremely bad about it, probably the thing I'm most guilty of. The only problem, is that I don't know who she is since I was also unconscious so I don't know how to."

"I would definitely save my journal. It's one of my most prized possessions, containing most of all my writings, so if I lost it, I would lose like years of work I put into my writing."

"Obviously, I would be most upset if my mum died. She cared for me by herself practically all her life, and always finds time for me despite having such a busy work schedule. My father could be dead right now for all I know, I don't care."

"I mean when it comes to piano itself, I don't have much performance anxiety, but I completely understand that feeling when I'm singing. To be honest, I'm probably never going to sing in front of anyone any time soon, but when I play piano, I find it's easier to focus on what you're doing with your entire mind. Pretend like you're meditating and forget about the world around you."

"Oh... well, I would love to have dinner with any of my friends or loved ones, of course! My boyfriend, my best mate, my parents, my current house-elf, my old one... but outside of people I actually know, I suppose I'd love to meet Dilys Derwent. She was a Healer and Headmistress of Hogwarts, after all! Talk about wearing multiple hats! I'm sure she would just have so much to teach me. Though I'm not sure I could cook to her liking, not after a whole lifetime of Hogwarts feasts..."

"Famous, not really, but I wouldn't mind being well-known. Like the kind when you walk down the street and everyone knows your name, and you know each of them in turn, friendly with everybody in your area!"

"No, but I probably should, else I'll go on one of my rambles..."

"Well, I think it would all start with actually waking up on time to get breakfast... I oversleep far too often! Then I'd have a full day of enjoyable classes and learn a lot, with time for a lunch break with my best mate @Dealla Prince. After classes I'd have time to garden and check in on the grounds' wildflowers until dinner, then perhaps spend the evening in Hogsmeade shopping for dessert (Cauldron Cakes, anyone?) and finally end the day with a perfectly romantic midnight broom ride with @Aaron Jones. It's a lot, but I like to keep busy!"

"Oh, Merlin, I can't sing worth a lick! I hum under my breath when I'm out in the garden, though."

"All the people in it, of course! Dee and Aaron and my entire Quidditch team, my family, all of my friends... even the people I don't know at Hogwarts make life more interesting every day. It's a fantastic life to be living, really."

"O-oh. Well. I suppose I'd ask my parents to be home more often. I love Dinny and Becca, of course, but one can only get so much love from house-elves that aren't related to you... there's got to be something special about being raised by your parents. That's what I've heard, anyway."

"Er, it's not really all that interesting before I got to Hogwarts. Born and raised in Welwyn Garden City - that's just outside London. I mostly live in a Muggle community - in fact, I think we're the only magical family in the neighborhood, at least that I know of - but I wasn't allowed to play with Muggles growing up, so I really don't know any of my neighbours. Mother and Father mostly work, so Dinny and Becca - those are the house-elves - raised me, more or less. Dinny retired when I was nine. Goodness, that's five years ago now, isn't it?

And... well... not much else til Hogwarts, like I said, but now there's a lot going on! I was Sorted into Ravenclaw, tried to make friends but mostly kept to my books for a few years. I started playing as Keeper for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team last year, and that's what really broke me onto the Hogwarts social scene, I suppose. I've won two games now, both this year - exciting, right? Oh, and I have a best friend and a boyfriend now! Dee and Aaron. Don't know where I'd be without them, really. I adore them both to bits."

"Well, now, that's not very fun, is it? Part of the whole reason life is worth living is that you never know what's going to come next. I do like Divination, somewhat, but you never know if everything you predict is perfectly... er... right. I like living the way I'm living now, thank you very much."

"Well, I've dreamt of winning a Quidditch Cup. We're hopefully on track to do that this year, if all goes well! Hey, er, do you have a stick or branch or wooden door or table I could knock on...? Just in case?"

"Right now, it's having (mostly) Outstanding grades. But if we win the Quidditch Cup, well, I think you know what it'll be."

"First time I ever won a Quidditch game was pretty memorable. Well, I mean, it would've been memorable if I didn't get knocked off my broom twenty seconds before we got the Snitch. "I think I've pretty much already answered this, but it means a lot to me, especially when you can just sort of exist in the same space as your friends. Dunno where I'd be without all my mates. They're fantastic people, one and all, and I certainly wouldn't be this same Aly without them!"

'Case I haven't said that enough."

"Well, warm maybe isn't the best word to describe it? Father and I get along splendidly, of course. It's like he's still a kid sometimes - Mother says he never grew up properly, and I only think she's joking 'round half the time. Uh, I was born in Dublin. My parents are named Vernon and Saoirse, and my dad was not a fan of the whole witch thing, so he left when he found out. My mom met this dude named Albert--gross--and they had a kid named Theresa. My grandparents on my mom's side love her, think she's amazing since she's pureblood and I'm not. Big whoop, I don't really care. Uh, I think Albert's got another kid? I'm really lost on the whole thing.

I wish I were... stronger. I've got some people I need to teach a lesson.

I'd actually take control of my feelings. No point in hiding them anymore.

I want to be loved. More than anything, I really do.

I like my laugh. I like the way that my face gets all red when I get complimented, it's not pathetic. I like mushy romantic things.

It was an average childhood. And I think my family's pretty cold right now. I love my mom and stuff, and I guess I love Tessa, but my stepdad's weird. And my grandparents and stuff don't really care for me. Not being a pureblood was a mistake, I guess.

It's alright. She spends most her time with Tessa, but Tessa's little so that makes sense, I guess. I miss her.

Not recently. I don't cry with people, I feel weird and stiff. I cried in the prefect bathroom awhile ago.

I understand your problem. I have a hard time with empathizing, mostly because I'm normally the one who's making a mess of things. I recommend just taking a step back and looking at their situation completely impartially, just to get a handle on what it is. Then try and think through what you'd do in the same situation.

I guess my problem is that I'm terrified of being rejected. I don't want to be cast aside or looked down upon, and so I can't open up.
