IT TAKES TWORESIDENTS

Nadya Andrulevičus (@Ivy Bellamy)
(@Elodie Nyangui)Located smack bang in the middle of the setups was the tent that would house two Durmstrang students for the next 20 days. There were two large beds set up on either side of the tent, with thin sheets for comfort in the hot summer weather and smooth, silky curtains that drew around them for privacy. As there were only two people staying in this tent, there was more space to sit and talk - there was a small living space towards the back, with a white coffee table, a comfortable white sofa and a circular red rug as well. The flimsy canvas that enclosed the tent were slightly scary at a glance, but the heat of English summer called for it - especially for the Durmstrang students, who were accustomed to the bitter cold of the all-year winter that surrounded their school.
As they were located in the middle of the hubbub, their sleep would be disturbed with the sound of other people and the chatter of those who stayed up late. However, they would also be able to hear the announcements first and get to places quickly, which was exactly why they had chosen this tent. The place smelt of thyme, strangely enough. Closer investigation would reveal that someone had strung up bundles of the herb up in the corners of the tent.

Roleplaying as Nadya Andrulevičus
Nadya could hardly hold her excitement as she wove her way through the rows of tents. Exhilaration filled the air, infectious even to Nadya, a girl normally quiet and subdued. Her fists were clutched in an attempt to control the euphoria, and her mouth still stung slightly from when she had bitten it earlier this morning. Prepared for the hot temperatures of summer, Nadya had worn a cropped, dusty-pink top and a short, black skirt. It was something her father, back in Latvia, would never had approved of, but Nadya was in the United Kingdom now, and she could do as she pleased. She had planned to wear her hair out, but when she realised just how hot the day was going to become, she had quickly tied it up into a messy bun. Slung around her shoulders, a burlap sack contained all of the possesions nessasary for the stay.
Nadya knew she was to stay with Cielle Johansen, a fellow Drumstrang student. Nadya had met Cielle a handful of times, and would consider the girl a friendly acquaintance. She was a nice girl, kind and quite enthusiastic, a lot louder than Nadya was, but she liked that about her. In fact, Nadya was quite excited to get to know Cielle a bit more. And, plus, it was at the London Quidditch Stadium! A place so big and magnificent it took a few moments to process. Pulling herself back down to reality, Nadya began to search the tents for Cielle's and hers. It was crowded, and Nadya had to squeeze her way through a couple of tight-knit groups. English conversations filled the air, conversations Nadya could barely understand, but the girl forced her mind not to stray off topic - she needed to find the tent.
After a couple more minutes of searching, Nadya found it. It was right in the middle of it all, with the thin edges flapping in the breeze. Nadya pushed her way through the crowd, and into the tent. Inside lay two beds, one of which Nadya threw her burlap sack on, and sat besides.
I wonder when Cielle will get here, she thought.

Gee whiz, London was really, really hot. Cielle was thankful she had chosen to wear the denim shorts and blue t-shirt today, despite being teased by some of the other girls when getting dressed that morning. All princesses, every single one of them.
Cielle had gotten used to their ways over the past year or so, but she still didn't understand the decisions they made and how their minds worked. Sometimes they were about big things, like thoughts on marriage or blood statuses, and other times they were simpler, like the clothing choices Cielle's classmates chose. Dresses, fur coats, boots... gosh, it was like they were going to some sort of party in London or something. They had hidden snickers at Cielle's Muggle clothing - but now she was the one laughing as they staggered about and sweated unattractively in the sweltering summer heat.
The setup of the camp gave her a sudden rush of nostalgia and longing for the circus. The tents, the chatter, even the magic... only this was real magic, not just smoke and mirrors like it was back at home. Cielle moved through the crowd quickly and entered one of the tents, where a small, slight blonde was sitting on one of the beds.
What was her name again...? Nadya, wasn't it? Cielle didn't know her very well, but from what she did know, the blonde was a bit of a pushover and very, very... quiet. Perhaps one of the main reasons they didn't really know each other. Cielle was loud and outspoken and energetic, the very opposite of Nadya, and tended to hang around those who were like her. Nadya... who was Nadya friends with? The Norwegian wasn't sure - Nadya was very good at blending in with a crowd, so good that Cielle never really noticed her anymore.
Cielle shook off these thoughts, clearing her throat to make her presence known as she threw her bag on top of the unoccupied bed. [IN RUSSIAN] "London's hot, isn't it?" the trapeze artist said, sitting down - or rather, flopping onto the white sofa towards the back. "Well, a lot hotter than it is back at the school," she added, as an afterthought. "Anyway. You ever been on camp before?"
