I mean, I have my gripes with RP homework, but there are people that love writing them. I don't really get it, but alas.

I personally really just prefer multiple choice over the RP assessments. I also feel like multiple choice is a simpler way of testing knowledge than forcing people to write words for a fictional school site.

Like hom, I made it so that the bonus questions in year 1 were the rp part, mostly because those that WANT to write, can do so, but the homework itself was focused on multiple choice. When I would do the grading, I noticed a LOT of people doing ONLY the required part, they chose not to do the writing part.

not part of the convo but... i personally just don't do it because of the word count, a lot of them are 400-500 words and for me it's hard to have enough inspiration to write that

Tbh, rps in hw should be optional, because we already have to write 200+ words for rp, we don't wanna do more than that for just a hw
