Lia was born to a half blood and a muggle, Angie Irinova and Ivan Irinova, respectively. Lia is an only daughter, making her a true blessing in her parents' eyes.
She never lacked anything; if she wanted something, she'd get it, as long as she played the perfect daughter role. At 6, she could speak perfect Russian, which she learned to only use when throwing a tantrum in public. Lia grew up in a normal life, as normal as a daughter of one of the most successful lawyers can be. If she wanted a limited edition, she'd get it.
At 10, Lia was barely entertained with things; she just collected them, like the last season Dior bag her father bought her for her birthday, the imported dress from France... It all stopped meaning something; she just used them to feel superior and untouchable, because an Irinova from her family's level would never be seen wearing poor people's stuff. Never.
Her last name got her everything, and now, she didn't want to just get what she wanted; she wanted to see how far her last name would take her before people realized she'd gone too far and had no way back.

Lia didn't like when people wore black, it seemed such a plain color, a color that could be overlooked in a crowd, she didn't understand why her family was wearing it, why she was wearing it; but no matter how hard she protested they ignored her demands to change her clothes.
At six, clearly she had better fashion sense than her family.
She was so annoyed that when she looked at herself in the mirror, a frown formed on her face instantly; she wanted something green or purple, not the ash color she was wearing.
For a second, it looked like the skirt had changed its color, then it started to do it more frequently, just enough times for her mother to look horrified.

Name: Cory Hanes
PC Name: Kennedy Cheek
Year: 1st

Status:Halfblood
Residence: Malibu California, United States of America
Nationality:American
History:
Cory was born to Delilah Hanes and Henry Campbell, although Cory has no idea who his father is. His mother refuses to tell Cory anything about him, except for the fact that he was a no good muggle. The Hanes family line was a renowned pureblood family line, and no one outside of Cory, his mom, and his grandparents know he isn't a pureblood himself.
His mom wasn’t around much in his life, she had Cory when she was only 18 and didn’t want to be tied down by a child. So his mom continued traveling the world and pursuing her acting career. She was more of a much older sister to Cory than a mom. Delilah didn't have the same care for pureblood status, she really didn't care form much of anything except herself.
His grandparents raised him instead, it was like getting a second chance to raise a child in the rightful views of pureblood noblilty. The Hanes family line had generational wealth, going so far back that no one quite knew how it was first acquired. This allowed Cory to be provided with top tier tutors and the best possible education. That education included the implementation of pureblood and family values. He grew up being told that he was born better than everyone around him because of the family he was born into, and as he grew it became a key part of his personality. He was also taught that he could never reveal what his father was, because he was nothing if not a perfect Hanes.
The spoiled life style fueled his ego, making him a bit of a troubled child, who didn't like being told what to do, His moto being “You can’t make me”Any time tutors tried to explain his terrible attitude to his grandparents, she insisted that her "angel" would never do such a thing and that he was right. Cory's grandfather actually fueled it even farther by introducing the boy to pranking, and the house staff soon became victim to the boy's mischievousness.
It wasn't that Cory was deprived of love, its just that he was shown love in a different way then most. Love was a reward based on sucess, without sucess, he was nothing to his family. Cory never minded this though, it was just the way things had always been. The only person to ever love Cory unconditionally was a housing staff name Charlotte, but known to her friends as Lottie. Lottie was in her 30s during Cory's first year at Ilvermorny, only a year or two older than his own mother. While she was young, she had the spirit of an old soal. For example, it was a weekly habit for her to sneak Cory a choclate chip cookie from the kicthens, even when he was grounded. Every night she could, she read him a bed time story, even when he insisted he was too old. In reality he secretly loved the ritual even if he was ashamed to admit it aloud. Lottie would always have a special place in Cory's heart.
First Magic: One day at age 7 Cory was experimenting with water balloons, which on his terms meant throwing them at the housing staff. When his grandmother saw this, she immediately took them away, telling him that “play was only for kids with weak minds.” Naturally this made Cory extremely mad that she had spoiled his fun. But as she was walking away, all the water balloons exploded in her hands, soaking her. His grandfather had been watching and started laughing.
“Was that you?” His grandmother asked, and he nodded his head even though he wasn't quite sure, worried that the stern talking to would be worse if he didn't admit it. In contrast to what Cory thought, his grandmother began to celebrate, elated that he had shown his first sign of magic. Saying that “The magical bloodline lives on”

She was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was eight because her father got a job as a wandmaker. She's born to a pureblood father and a muggleborn mother who's an engineer. Her and her entire family packed up and relocated to a different state. Grew up right down the street from her childhood best friend, Taylor. They went to the local elementary school together and rode bicycles through the neighborhood. A staple of her childhood was visiting her paternal grandmother witch, who lived in a large old house in Chicago as well. She is credited for giving Ivy her deep love of reading and passed down family books that inspired her imaginative goals. Moving to New Orleans introduced her romantic lore where she met her next door neighbor, Milo White. They grew up together as childhood best friends, climbing trees, going to jackson square to look at paintings, and going to frenchmen street listening to jazz. Growing up in New Orleans developed her love for supernatural lore like vampires and werewolves. She once built a good sand castle when she was a kid, inspired by her mom as an engineer. She started playing the piano and learning ballet when she was younger. She used to dance for her toy animals and play a cheering audio in the background. Her parents adopted a Yorkshire terrier from a shelter.
First Magic:
Reducio
Half her childhood, Ivy would be curled up on the enormous, dust-choked library floor of her grandmother’s aging Chicago house. At the age of seven, after climbing a very heavy wooden rolling ladder to retrieve a leather-bound ancient fairy tale book that her grandmother had vowed to bequeath her, the spine of which she was about to touch when something skittered at the corner of the shelf-something big and hairy, a wolf spider, her most mortal terror. Ivy stood frozen, eyes wide, gape open, a silent shriek catching in her throat as she overbalanced on the ladder and tumbled.
It wasn’t fear, or survival instinct-or some mad flight of pure desire, but it sent her floating down through the air, cushion of pumped-up air buoying her.
As she fell the leather book somehow opened, pages fanning rapidly and Ivy landed on the floor, with a sigh, perfectly safe and utterly bewitched.

Xinyue was born to a wealthy couple— a pureblood and muggleborn— who lived in Calgary, but all the soot and ashes from the fires would make Xinyue cough and her skin look dirty, so per her request, they moved away to the beautiful Vancouver, with its chilling seaside and mild temperatures. It was her dreamland. When people saw her on the street, they would assume that she was a pampered little princess, and when they teased her about it, she would kick them hard, with enough force to cause immense pain, but just enough so that nothing would remain, except their complaints that a little girl had hurt them without causing harm. Which, when you think about it, was quite unconvincing due to the absurdity of the comments and her parents immense wealth. Xinyue was quite popular in school, and she had the school wrapped under her little pinky. It was nearly compensation for her parents sending her to school with nomajs, insisting that she’ll develop important skills and learn how to communicate civilly. That, was just absurd. At the age of 6, she could read most books, and at the age of 8, her volcabulary was more extensive than some university students. Her teachers were always fake smiling at her, but Xinyue knew that they were always talking about her, about how she can reduce most people to tears with her insults, exploit people’s deepest insecurities and how she could send someone’s social life plummeting if they pissed her off. Xinyue didn’t care. She never did. And so she didn’t even bat an eye when she was expelled. She was, after all, a witch. There were better futures waiting for her.
First Magic:

It was at the ends of her property where she finally cracked. It was stormy, sure, but she didn’t care. Xinyue was sitting there, applying her makeup when a raven had appeared, apparently trying to steal her makeup. She froze. No one stole anything from her. Not even a lowly raven. And she was going to teach that raven a lesson. Xinyue tried grabbing the raven, trying to rip off some of its feathered, but it was too fast. The raven dodged and flapped away, cawing as if it was laughing… AND THAT FOUL BEAST HAD HER EARRINGS! Xinyue screamed, her vocal cords going far higher than the normal frequency, shattering the windows in the shed, scaring the raven, who spiraled into a tree. I finally got my FIOM, she thought as she slowly staggered back to the house.

- As a pure-blood, it is nearly impossible that Xinyue's parents would send her to a Muggle primary school. Remember, pure-bloods have next to no contact with the Muggle world. Please either change her blood status, or remove the mention of her having undergone Muggle schooling.

Nicola's mother, Margery Parker, was a... Very outgoing muggle girl. She was the kind of woman who'd never stay at home. Maybe that's why it was never a surprise when, during one of her parties, she ended up pregnant. And, having no idea who the father of the baby was, she decided to rely on her parents' support during the pregnancy.
When the baby was six months old, she decided to settle down, leave her wild soul behind and be a mother, starting from cero in New York City.
Due to her dad's connections, she met Coriolanus Hendricks. A business man, slightly older than her, CEO of many companies, and associated of the ones he didn't own yet. They got married not long after, and he took Nicola as his own daughter.
A smiling baby, Nicola was born to shine. Being known as the heir of the Hendricks fortune and being loved by so many, she had little to no complaints to cry about. She'd ask anything, and daddy would give it to her. A new dress? Got it. A pony? Got it. That Gucci purse she saw? She had it. But sadly, despite having all the wealth a kid could ask for and more, there's one thing money can't buy: love.
Her father was always busy, buying her things so she'd stop throwing tantrums, and her mother... She was the public ideal wife: Always silent, loving and caring. She changed from being a wild should to being what's known as a tradwife.
So little Nicola would spend her days always stuck in that beautiful, big building of her father in the middle of Manhattan. That, when she wasn't recording ads or giving interviews for kid shows. Or attending her dad's events just to show how beautiful his family was.
She started her education at the age of five. Of course, her parents wouldn't allow her to attend a simple school. That'd be mixing themselves with the poor, no matter how many connections or references the school had. No, they hired governesses. Babysitters who would take care of Nic while Margery was making her nails and Coryo was at the other side of the country.
They never had it easy with Nic. If she didn't understand a subject, the screams she'd give would be so high people in Texas would hear them. If she didn't like the governess, oh, she'd make it clear. This doesn't mean she was dumb, though. For her age, Nicola was actually pretty smart. She just cared more about looks and what the Vogue Kids trend was.
You'd also know it by the way she always managed to twist the situation until she had what she wanted. Growing up spoiled, but without love, can do that to a girl.
When she was nine, she found out that life isn't always in the pink shade. One day, her mother started acting weird. Specially towards her father. And it's not like she never acted like that, Nic was used to hearing their screams while they argued from the other side of the building. No, her mother, the woman who always got her cookies and the best interviews and makeups, was afraid of her husband.
And one night, exactly a week after all of this, she snuck into Nicola's bed while the girl was about to fall asleep.
"I need you to be strong, Nic. For both of us. I'll come back for you." She asked, kissing her daughter's forehead with tears running down her cheeks.
Of course, Nicola did not understand any of this. For her, Margery was just having another episode of weirdness.
Until she woke up next day to notice her mom was gone. Vanished. Disappeared. Poof!
Her father did not seem to notice and Nicola never mentioned that interaction to him. Until the second day, when the media started wondering, and he gave the official version to everyone.
"She ran away with her lover, leaving us behind. She abandoned her own daughter. Her own family."
And Nicola couldn't do nothing but make a sad face. It's hard to question your dad when you have cameras all around you.
But since that day, she started giving that exact same version to the magazines and her friends. A few days later, Nicola and her dad had to go to London.
Her aunt Mariah was dead. A heart attack, apparently. Curious, considering her dad never mentioned her or his brother, John.
Why would they attend the funeral of a woman she barely knew?
It rained that day. While everyone presented their respect and condolences, she saw her cousin, Mikaela, staring at the coffin, emotionless.
They had both lost their mothers. One was dead, the other vanished. A family line, huh?
Once the funeral ended, things got heavy. Her uncle and her dad got into a... Pretty bad fight, where Coriolanus accused John's wife to be a "weird phenomenon" and that he was glad she was dead. He also mentioned Mikaela, and John didn't took it well. Her aunts had to separate them.
That was the last time Nicola saw Mikaela.
Two days later, with her emotions mixed and not even knowing what to feel about the situation, let alone the fact that she had to dress like a grieving daughter for the interview with Vogue in a few hours, she had her first glimpse of magic in the middle of an argument with her dad. The cherry of the cake, you may say.
Since that day, Nicola was tamed by Coriolanus. He'd show her off, still spoiling her, but not acknowledging her at home. She stopped scaring her governesses off. She started acting more like him.
Because she wanted to win his favor. She wanted to be his daughter again. But what kind of love can come from the heart of a man towards a bastard? The daughter of a nosy traitor?

First Magic:Nic's biological father is a muggle. He has no idea he has a daughter, and is actually living in Italy. Her mother, after discovering a family secret involving Coriolanus' family, had to escape him. She's back at Italy, living with her family, but since Coriolanus is still looking for her, she has to keep moving around.
Reducio
Nicola was three seconds away from crashing out. The prior events were still spiraling in her head. The funeral. Her mom. Vogue in a few hours. The funeral. Her mom. Vogue. Funeral. Mom. Vogue. A lover. And she was just nine years old!
Coriolanus, who always cared more about his businesses before his family, was, surprisingly, in the same room as her. And without a bribe or a threat in the middle. This time, he wasn't promising her a new skirt or another Ice Skating class. She wasn't asking for another impossible thing. She was pacing back and forth, stressed, and he was standing in the doorframe, rehearsing the interview.
"She ran away with a lover." And, for the first time in her life, Nicola contradicted him.
"No, she didn't."
"Nicola."
"Dad."
"You knew her. You knew what she was capable of. That's what the media knows, and you'll play the role."
"But it's not the truth!"
"No one cares about the truth, Nicola. They care about the views."
And just before Nicola could say another word to keep arguing with him, the weirdest thing happened.
The big window next to Nicola's bed frosted over. Small, beautiful ice webs appeared in the frames. Which would've been a wonderful sight... If they were in winter. But it was spring. A lovely spring, if I may add.
It lasted a few seconds before coming back to normal. Nicola thought she imagined it, until she looked back at her dad. Coriolanus had the same cold face he got the night Margery left. The same look.
Disappointed. He was disappointed of her. And in her nine years of life, Nicola felt it for the first time.
"Dad..."
He turned around, leaving the room.
"Dad!"
She ran behind him.
He barely stopped next to the butler.
"Get her ready. And don't let her be close to me."
That day, something changed inside the girl. Maybe it was that look in her dad's face. Maybe it was hurt. Maybe she wanted him to feel proud again. Whatever it was, Nicola was never the same after that event.

(i) would you prefer manhattan or new york as the residence in your inpc profile? Please just choose 1 (and ensure this information is in your ency and background in application as well)
(ii) You mentioned not knowing Nicola's biological father, but we do need to know to ensure that her blood status is accurate, so could you at least give a footnote or slight explanation as to what happened to him and what his blood status is? This is not information the character has to know. Same for the mother going missing.
(iii) Just to be clear- was she alone with her father when they had their FIOM? If it was in the funeral with people surrounding them, the Ministry of Magic officials would come to modify their memories so that they forget that magic exists (except the father as he will be explained eventually).
(iv) Nice to see you ready with your ability! However, this is the wrong place to put it. You should add the Lovely Creature in this ability INPC registration after your INPC is registered. As this section in the application is only for special race or special abilities

History:
ReducioA totaly acceptable warning before you dive in into Benson's backstory is that you really shouldn't prepare yourself for the most exciting and epic words with several plot-twists, that would be nothing more than a waste of your precious time. Hope I helped.
Not erasing from our minds what I have previously said, his life was... a little interesting indeed. Besides that basic things that could get far more exciting, there are one or two things that passed by him that not all people witness.
He was born in a mild morning in the very beggining of June, both of his parents being Canadian. His mother was a Halfblood who worked on the area of Muggle technology, as it always excited her and his father a zoologist, born Pureblood. The second day of the month, actually. At nine past three in the morning. Where? In a muggle hospital somewhere in the middle of Quebec, where he resides since ever. Sadly, there were not only good news that morn. His parents were expecting twins, but only Benson made his way out. That was why Benson only got his name at the middle of the day, his parents softly disscussed if he was going to be either Benson or Lucas. I guess you know the answer, but it would be the other way around if the most tiny detail ocurred differently. Without straying from the topic, his parents actually had had three abortions and no children before him.
Until the end of 2014, Benson was mentaly aware of simple habits and recognized around a dozen of faces, his paternal grandparents, mother and father being that he did it with more ease.
The next year brought another member to the Belcourt family in the middle of May, Ava, his sister. They build a strong cute relationship over the years and when I say cute, I mean that funny and extremely cute type that comes out being rare among siblings.
Benson was such a quick learner, after just a few years passed from his birth. Every week day, he and his sister spent their time at their maternal grandparents' house. They both were quite old for the average age of young children's grandparents, but that made sense because Benson's parents weren't properly young.
Although being in their late 80's, Benny's paternal grandparents were fresh and surprised everyone for how active they were. Benny, Ava and them passed the best of the times with them, exploring and creating routine with "Meemaw" and finding out new horizons of knowledge of magic and Muggle world with "Big Papi". By passing this time with them, he managed to keep in mind some spells.
Benson keeped in touch with the Muggle world. Not much the cultural and historical part, but he was involved in several Muggle fandoms. His parents bought his clothes and toys in Muggle shops and shoppings, with the goal of putting this idea in his mind "Muggles are people to. Culture is culture.".
When he was one week from turning ten, he woke up happy, remembering what day it was. He passed through the staircase faster than his beloved Lucario. Her sister, normally emotionally strong, was sobbing on the sofa. His father was desperate, crazy, looked mentally ill and his mother was crying and hugging her husband. Big Papi had left their world.
Whilst Benson suddently had flashbacks of occasions that he passed with his grandfather, dozens of tears appeared and fell of his eyes. His expression was frozen. He shouted. He continued shouting. He shouted and shouted and shouted, untill there was no breath left.
Apparently, he died of natural causes, what was shocking, as he was as healthy as he could be. But what could Benny do? Whithout time to decide the answer, he copied his sister's behaviour, went straight towards the sofa.
A week passed and he couldn't get out of bed. His feelings were all shaken. That wasn't only bad psycologically, but also delayed his learnings. His parents were shocked. Even his Dad had partially recovered!
He started to read, to forget his loss. In the next week he had already finished twelve entire books plus one that he had already started previously. Before his grandfather's death, he read every night one hour and in random parts of the day, what was much and productive, but this was like a bomb to him.
Even after recovering his habit stayed and the only thing he could think of was reading. Getting off the habit was one of his biggest struggles.
The good part was that he returned to his normal routine right after, in his grand... mother's house.
At the age of eleven, he knew he was recieving the letter. I mean, he isn't a conceited person, but he had prepared himself for all this years... it had to be for something!
By this time, his parents thought that, as he was going to pass basically the next years without it and it was a helpful, so they invested in giving him a Muggle digital instrument called "computer". That way, he could try to pass few weeks understanding Muggle entertainment and humor. I won't lie, Benson enjoyed it much. He created an account in the most popular apps for people with his age his favorite "video game" (cool language that he got obssessed with) was named Pokemon Unite, his favourite "APP" was named Pinterest and his favourite "site" was called Picrew. Pokemon Unite is a video game from a famous saga, Pokemon, where cool monsters had to battle. Pinterest is an APP where he could save images or sites that he appreciated. He learned so much! And, finally, Picrew was a site where he personalised drawings of people and basically was guided by his aesthetic, what was the vibe that pleased his eyes the most. It was an.. "addicted but not addicted era".
When he was changing his Pokemon Unite username to "LucarioTrain448" while listening to The Beatles, he heard a sound. It happened to come from the window, so he looked in that direction. By that time, he was almost like a Muggle in technology knowledge, so the window in question was decorated with a huge sticker imitating one from a game [Minecraft]. The white squares made the energetic tiny owl just partially visible, but anyone could understand what it was, and even better, WHY it was there.
Finally! He didn't waste any time shouting or jumping, he just acted like the most nonchalant person just because yes [he kind of felt judged by the owl] and softly opened the said window, with his heart pumping like someone revived and his mind projecting cartoon explosions. He gently pat the owl, smiled and tried not to touch its paw while pulling the famous Ilvermorny envelope. His smile grew bigger. And bigger. Now that the cute little owl left, he looked like a maniac. One of his shouders rised and his ankle shoke. Then it was the other shoulder's turn. Could we call that dancing? Well, yeah, after his feet also moved.
And this *cha-hum* short text is why Benson Martin Belcourt is a student of a wizard school in Massachusetts, named the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
First Magic:
ReducioMeemaw hadn't really create an unusual plan for that day, in the end of 2019's spring. But, remember, I'm not saying that Benson didn't like it or was fed up of doing so. Contrariwise, going to pick juicy strawberries was one of his favorite activities. Well, there was this mischievous little strawberry in Ben's adorable sight. He had to eat it, it seemed really mham-mham. New objective unblocked!
He looked at the strawberry. The strawberry looked at him, reflecting the strong sunlight. Benny stetched himself like if it was his only goal in life, but noticed that it might be to hight, even for the stretched Benny. He tried again, harder. Not yet. He jumped. Almost, but his hand only closed when it was too late. He kept trying and trying and his grandmother was watching him delighted, 20 meters away from him.
At the one that seemed the 1000th time, his feet literally floated above the fresh grass, untill the tricky-positioned strawberry was in front of his belly. Or, even better, his belly was in front of the strawberry. He didn't look at the far floor, but at the red thing that had challanged him for minuted that most likely looked like hours. His butt fell softly in the muddy part of the grass and everyone would spend all of their money to see the face that he made. It was a mix of "OHHH YEAHH! I GOT YA MANNN" with "Benny, don't make a stupid face, you are a little diva and you don't have to ruin it".
