Y'all, me and Klips might not be on together or as active again... Uhh, their phone kinda died, and when I say that, I mean died-died, as in the battery inside the phone is so old it can't gain voltage for the phone anymore. It hasn't turned on despite forced restarts and charging and that for over twelve hours now... They're with me now if you'd want to chat with them, whether through here or I can let them on their account, but just thought we'd give you a heads-up.

College is a school you go to after finishing high school to learn a specific job or study advanced subjects.

College is a school you go to after finishing high school to learn a specific job or study advanced subjects.

idk about heaven. I liked a small part of community college- and that was the pond they had on campus. I liked being out at night when it was dark, as the pond was lit up with the fountains shooting jets of water into the air as I walked laps listening to When The Children Cry by White Lion.

Otherwise it's a lot of work. And costs too much money if you don't have financial aid or don't come from a rich family. But I have an Associates in Criminal Justice and am going to change my major to Bachelors of Science Communication Studies with a concentration of Storytelling and a minor in American Sign Language. Normally I would be told I can't be on (the main) campus, but since the communication classes and ASL classes are only taught on the main campus, I am waiting for approval from my means of financial aid's supervisor so I can stay in a dorm for two years until I graduate.

I have always dreamed of going to a university on a scholarship. Which is part of the reason I joined wrestling. If I somehow managed to become the best I would get a nice scholarship covering everything. Living on campus and learning from UCSD and learning my Doctoral degree would be a dream come true

I have a few scholarships I’ll hopefully get when I go to uni for a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Minor in History. I’m excited, but also nervous for it. Lol

I have to admit I have spiraled so much recently, that I am very stressed with college. However, usually it's upon seeing the workload. I have nothing left to do this week, as I'm caught up. I am currently still in the elementary education major, but I cannot drop the classes I have or I get in trouble with my means of financial aid, I could drop one, but I could not drop all of my classes. I had to have a minimum of twelve credit hours. My books, I still don't have them. So I had to find free copies wherever I could because I could not obtain them through the bookstore with the zilch amount of money I have. My means of financial aid has to jump through hurdles and take about two weeks if not longer to get everything approved.

I need to start preparing to sign up for a dorm very soon for next semester, if the supervisor approves. If not, I don't know if I can continue with the communication major I was gonna switch it to, and I would need to either keep the elementary education one or find another one that's taught close by or entirely online. As much as I REALLY want dropping out to be an option, it really isn't much of one for me. Like, I'm perfectly happy sweeping, mopping, whatever. But I'm getting the bachelors degree no matter what so I can say 'Yeah, so I am deaf, blind, and I have an associates degree and a bachelors degree.' And hopefully not be rejected after all of those years of college. :nod: (money means nothing to me, I could make as little to get by or as much, but really, I do not want the increased money that comes with the degrees if it comes with it.)

All in all, I will not be pursuing a masters nor a doctorate, I have already lost interest in reading because of the amount of textbooks and articles I've had to read, my interest or dedication in writing fluctuates greatly and I can no longer write hundreds of words daily (on a regular basis) for "fun" purposes as we already have so much to write.

But, I will mention, I do have a dream. A dream that will never come true. Joining a fraternity. I'm not a freshman, I'm a junior in college. I'm a transfer student. I also don't look the part either. I don't have the money to join a frat as well.

But it is a dream of mine.

Speaking of, I talked with the elementary education advisor and she said that they're considering, within the next few years, reducing the amount of classes elementary education majors have to take because they're already having to spend so many hours in the school system plus spend a lot of time doing class work and being in college as well as balancing real life jobs on top of all of that. That being said, it isn't changing anytime while I'm attending the college, but if someone happens to go to the college I go to and takes that major and there's a change, you can probably thank me for getting such a long and overwhelming list of classes I had to take just to get to residency- and to graduate- in such a VERY short span of time.

Avery! You're not doing forensics anymore?

Nah. I loved my forensics class and will probably take an intro to criminal justice, but I found out real quick I would not survive as a forensic scientist. I’m more of a film / writing / history nerd. My best friend is going to college fore forensic psychology though!

Should I do replies or should I study for my pre-lab quiz??
