Hello everyone! Welcome to the First Years Club!

This club is being created as a fun space for all first-year characters and their players to interact, make friends, and take part in different activities together.

The club will have both In Character (IC) and Out of Character (OOC) activities. Members can choose to participate in IC, OOC, or both.

IC ACTIVITIES —

IC activities are done as part of the roleplays.
What to expect:
□ IC Ice-breakers — Your character gets to introduce themselves and interact with other first years.
□ Character interactions — Conversations, introductions, and friendship-building.
□ In-RP games — Games and activities that can take place within the Hogwarts setting.
□ IC challenges & competitions — Friendly activities between characters.
□ Story-based activities — Events that can create new interactions or small RP moments.
□ House interactions — Activities where different houses can participate together.

IC Participation Expectations:

▪︎Please remain in character during IC activities.
▪︎Respect other people's characters and their RP boundaries.
▪︎Give everyone an opportunity to participate.
▪︎Keep interactions friendly and enjoyable.
▪︎Remember that IC disagreements are between characters and are not OOC conflicts.

OOC ACTIVITIES —
OOC activities are done as the players themselves, separate from the roleplay.
What to expect:
□ OOC ice-breakers — Get to know the people behind the characters.
□ Player games — Fun games and activities.
□ Mini challenges — Casual challenges for everyone.
□ Creative activities — Art, prompts, character ideas, and other creative fun.
□ Casual conversations — Chat and interact with other members OOC.
□ Friendly competitions — Player-based activities and events.

▪︎Keep OOC discussions separate from IC situations when necessary.
▪︎Don't pressure anyone to participate.
▪︎Respect everyone's boundaries and comfort levels.
▪︎Keep activities fun, welcoming, and inclusive.
▪︎Avoid turning IC situations into OOC arguments.
