Hmm well, go into on how Derek feels about it. Maybe add something else. like a bad time with his father before he died that lead to him getting dragon pox. Maybe go into how the father got dragon pox and twist it in a way that it makes it seem like it was Derek fault and how he cannot live with the guilt that he cause his fathers death if he didn't just do that one thing.

Hmm… intriguing idea. But the first part, he never really saw his father since he contracted it the day Derek got back on the train after Christmas Break. Let me just think about ways to make him think it was his fault *cue evil laughter* This, I just realize, is why my friends won’t read my stories.

Derek never had much of a connection with his father due to him being a magizoologist, so that is perfect! Thanks so much!
