Dragons. The great and beautiful creatures. As a Japanese boy, he was familiar with the dragons in the myths. Growing up in a pureblood family equipped him with the knowledge of magical creatures, which meant that he knew there were real dragons in the world. Although he never occurred to meet any of them. But he was always enthusiastic about the graceful, powerful creatures. And that was why his mother gave him this present - a book that detailed the knowledge of every dragon. It was hard-covered and gold embossed. A beautiful dragon was engraved on the cover. Heavy. Brand new. He had been admiring the book for a while, wanting to find a perfect time to start reading it. And it could be today.
The sun hung high up in the sky. It was a warm day in spring in the highlands. He decided he would head out to the courtyard and enjoyed the rare great weather. He wore a knitted vest outside of his white shirt, paired with wide-leg pants and loafers. He was very much ready to have a good afternoon at the courtyard.
There were quite a lot of students there. Perhaps the ball season made people more sociable and chatty. He glanced around. His only wish was finding a perfect spot at this moment. There was a couple. No. There was too much sunlight. No. There were too many people. No. The young Ichiyagi finally found a seat that had enough shading but was also not that crowded like other areas. He strode to that seat while putting his full focus on his book. The temptation to open the book was strong. Thumbing through the beautiful cover, he opened the book with one hand before he arrived at his destination.
Bump. And then a thud.
Hayato’s eyes widened. His book, the brand-new book, was on the ground, with dust on it. He glared at the one who bumped into him. Although he knew it might be him who bumped into the other truthfully, he was still very upset about what happened to his book. The book lay on the ground silently, waiting for anyone’s rescue. Narrowing his eyes, crossing his arms, he went into his defensive mode. “Should I say sorry or should you?” His voice was calm but cold.

Magnus had never experience pollen before because back in the harsh winter of Durmstrang he didn’t have this problem due to how cold it was, any flowers that even manage to survive that cold never produced pollen so he never sneeze and the cold weather kept hi
alive, so much so he would pratice outside shirtless. However now that he was in this new environment his body was adapting to it, however it wasn’t a positive change as he would have appreciated.
As he was walking around and sneezing a boy suddenly dropped into him dropping a book he was holding as he just looked over at Magnus acting like he was expecting an apology. Apologize ? Is this guy stupid he bummed into me. If anyone is owed an apology it’s ME He just scoffed at the boy as he crossed his arms glaring at him. “If you hadn’t noticed you bumped into me dumbass.” If he thought Magnus was going to apologize he was dumber than he looked.⚔︎
