Applications are Now Closed!

Please welcome @Ebony Vetra to the staff team, in replacement of prefect @Mylo Atkins. Ebony has been a part of the community for quite some time, having joined in 2021. They've been a huge asset to Ravenclaw Quidditch, and we look forward to seeing what they can bring to the staff team.

Update to Site Rules: Shipping & Consent
Since 2018, we have maintained rules regarding shipping members and their characters, including the expectation that players consent to being involved in shipping.
Given that this issue has now extended onto the site itself, we are clarifying our existing no-harassment policy to make this expectation explicit: shipping must be consensual.
It is perfectly fine to enjoy a pairing, suggest a ship, or ask another player whether they are interested in exploring one. However, once a player has indicated that they are not comfortable with a ship, that boundary needs to be respected. Continuing to pressure, repeatedly involve, or target someone with unwanted shipping after they have declined may constitute harassment under our site rules.
This is not a new expectation so much as a clarification of an existing one. Players have autonomy over their characters and the relationships they wish or do not wish to explore. No one should feel pressured to participate in a ship simply because other members would like to see it happen.

Hufflepuff Duelling Captain Deadline
After receiving a passing exam for the position, a week-long deadline has now been issued for all those interested in applying for the role. The deadline is now the 29th of August; please make sure to submit the initial written response soon in order to have enough time to work on the exam portion of the application.
