Hearing Santario's fragile, whispered thank you caused a sour grin to appear on Vincent's face, darkening his already toxic mood and guilt-filled state of mind even more. Although she didn't actually look anyone in the eye, he automatically assumed it was aimed at Bridget, as there was absolutely no reason whatsoever for her to offer him her gratitude. On the contrary even, if it hadn't been for him she would most likely not have ended up in this precarious, maybe even life threatening situation. He felt he was responsible for her getting stung as it happened right after him distracting her with his questions. Arguably, perhaps, but in his mind responsible nonetheless. And then, as if getting her stabbed and poisoned wasn't bad enough, he intensified and worsened her ordeal by miserably failing in trying to fly her to safety, causing her to crash head first into the trampled pitch below. So basically she had all the reason to despise him rather than expressing any positive thoughts about him. Vincent, though devastated by the thought, understood. He looked at Bridget. "I know you will be, but I have to say: Please be careful with her, alright?" He then shifted his attention to Santario, softly touching her shoulder. Still unsure if she could hear him, but definitely hoping she would, he once more apologized, in a whisper this time, and then muttered a get well soon. He didn't know what more to say. Perhaps he could visit her in the hospital wing. Or perhaps it was best not to. With those opposing thoughts in mind he turned away, allowing Bridget to fly off. He didn't watch. He simply couldn't.

Vincent just sat there for a few minutes, dazed, lonely, deep in thought, deaf to the screams and blind to the omnipresent chaos. This had turned out to be a complete disaster. He should have trusted his gut, just like he normally always did, and stayed at the castle rather than pathetically trying to pursue making new friends at an illegal ball. But he felt he had no choice, he had to go. Someone made him! And look what it had brought him. Instead of new friends, or at least new acquaintances, all he could add to his list of achievements, all he had to show for – sarcastically spoken of course, given the circumstances – was he almost killed someone – twice – and that was it. Not exactly something to be proud of, something that would give him bragging rights. In fact, more than anything he felt ashamed and guilty. So also from that point of view this had been an absolute waste of time and the worst of it was that it still wasn’t over. In fact, he probably couldn’t simply get up and walk out, he most certainly had his work cut out for him, and quite some at that, in order to make it out without any serious injury or worse. That realization brought him back to reality, and the screams of agony and anguish now penetrated the silence and solitary of his dream world. And with his unwanted awakening a name popped up in his head. Wyatt!

Apart from the fact just sitting there feeling sorry for himself was completely against his nature and wouldn’t help him in any way, Vincent had something else to attend to as well, so he sprang into action. He grabbed the camera bag, swung the strap over his head, making sure he could safely move without it getting in the way while also keeping it from untying, eliminating the risk of losing it. Once he was satisfied with his handy work he got up. He needed to find Wyatt. Not only because he had promised he would, but also because he might need help surviving the deadly dance with one of those creatures he got himself engaged in by throwing spells at it that weren’t meant to be cast at anything alive. The last he saw, before his failed escape attempt on the broom, was the bug spinning around like an old-fashioned 78 record, wildly flailing its proboscides and legs alike. Even if this had disabled the creature, leaving it harmless, Wyatt still might need help hauling the injured boy out.

Vincent needed a few seconds to grab his focus and orientate on his surroundings to, quite pressing, determine his direction. Once he figured it out he bolted, not caring for any creatures or other hazards anymore. At this point he didn’t really care if anything would happen to him, he decided to let fate – or any other higher power for that matter – take control of that. The thick smoke seemed to have spread out, most likely due to the fact the fires had pretty much been extinguished, allowing for a slightly better view. He saw that the wounded boy Wyatt had tried to protect was being treated by professor Vernatis, while the creature that was attacked by Wyatt, along with Wyatt himself, was nowhere to be seen. Instead he saw a giant white snake slide through the chaos, stopping Vincent in his tracks. Not knowing whether the snake was friendly or hostile and not sure about his next move he turned to the exit. Probably – hopefully – Wyatt had left the scene and was already outside. Weighing his options for a second Vincent decided to try to evade the snake and offer his help to professor Vernatis, despite the exit looking extremely inviting right now. Perhaps he could help carry someone to safety or tend to someone’s wounds, or… anything. He waited for the snake’s attention to seemingly focus away from both Vincent and professor Vernatis, took a sharp breath and carefully approached the professor. “Professor!” he called out. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

Seeing the anxiety she had caused the blue haired girl, May began to calm her down. "Don't worry, you're strong. And we are not going to fly you in broom. I understand." May said, soothingly, but firmly, while she looked at Aaron with a Say something! look on her face. When the Astronomy professor arrived, May nodded at each word she said firmly, thinking that she would be able to transport Lydia herself, but thinking twice, May knew that Aaron would want to help too. She gave a smile at the boy-reassured him smile- and looked back at Lydia and the professor.
If the spell works

May smiled at Prof. Karr and signaled Aaron to help her out with Lydia. She slowly began to lift her legs-carefully not to cause more damage-She helped Lydia stand up, and tried going to the castle. With all the chaos, it would be difficult. At least, the leg wasn't bleeding, and the wound wouldnt wouldn't cause any blood insufficiency.
If the spell doesn't work

May looked at the professor, expectant for her to do something. Meanwhile, she didn't have to worry. It seemed like the professor has it all under control. Looking at the professor helping out the wound with her geared off button up, May picked helped out Lydia by giving her hand, so that the blue hair could stand up. Hopefully, they could leave the castle without problems.
If the attempt of going to the Castle works

May took Lydia's hand (if Lydia accepts) and walked to the castle. Hopefully, nothing was going to stop them going to the castle.

Note to self, small talk doesn’t calm anyone. Don’t try again. She rolled her eyes. “It’s not going be on anyone gravestone because no one is going to die.” She replied to the whole group before refocusing herself to find the sound of the professors Logan was talking about. She thought she heard a faint sound of an adult but wasn’t sure if that’s just the hallucinations she created because she desperately wants to get out of here, unscathed. To her relief, the other’s replies assured her that that was not the case. At the very least, I’m not going insane. She gazed flickered to Elsian when he joked about detentions. “I don’t know, giving detentions to the whole school seems a little extreme to me.”

Suddenly, an unfamiliar girl came up to River and just gave a broom to her. Weird. “Be careful.” She stood there and watched as River floated higher from the ground, it seemed like she was going be okay on her own so Alexis started to turn to leave. Just when she thought this night can't get any worse, she heard River yelled, “Bloody hell!”

Alexis’s eyes shot up to see the mosp stung the poor girl's arm. As River lifted her wand to cast Flipendo at the mosp. She winced when another girl shouted another spell and the green bright spark shot up in the air. Alexis froze in her spot and close her eyes in reflex. Oh no... The green spark had missed the mosp. Instead, it hit River. Panicking, she quickly opened her purse and grabbed the first thing she saw, It was a comb. Fantastic. Now I've got a comb. She wanted to scream in frustration.

Oh lord... She prayed as she was about to do the stupidest thing she probably ever going to do, try to divert the mospʼs attention to herself.

She aimed and threw the comb at the mosp as hard as she could, not even sure if it will hit. It probably won't do much damage but it was worth a try. Please work...

If they got out of there alive, Ivy was going to kill Thomas.

First he slapped the goblets out of her hand in an attempt to stop her attack. Ivy still managed to slap the boy attacking Ana, which was rather satisfying, but she was furious with Thomas, especially now that he was kissing some random girl. Why was everyone kissing?! Idiots, all of them. "What the crap, Thomas?" she snarled, about to give him a piece of her mind. Before she could say anything else, though, he pushed the other girl away with his shoulder, who collided with - "Oomph!" Ivy fell to the ground and winced. That had hurt way more than she'd expected.

She stumbled to her feet and glowered at Thomas, certain that it wasn't an accident. Ivy wanted nothing more than to hit him back, but he wasn't worth her energy and time. The sensible side of her understood that it would only be adding to the chaos, and - oh, the professors were here now. The Gryffindor knew better than to fully relax, but she was filled with something akin to hope. Everything was going to be alright, she told herself, moving away from Thomas and the other girl carefully. The fire and smoke was gone now, and she took a deep breath in the night air.

And then she noticed her doppelganger, lying in a heap unresponsive on the ground. No. Ivy's stomach dropped and she rushed over to Ana - although she wasn't quite sure how, because her legs felt like jelly. "Oh my God, Ana..." She shook her friend's arm gently. No response. Apprehensively, she checked if she was breathing, waving a hand under the older girl's nose, dreading the result. Ana was breathing, but by the looks of it, she wasn't going to be able to hang on if Ivy didn't do something. She had been burnt alive and knocked out - it was a wonder she hadn't passed out earlier.

Ivy's grey eyes would cut to Ana's attacker (Vlad), the very boy she had tried to hit earlier on. With Thomas still there, she would not make an another attempt to attack him, even though he deserved it. There was time for that later - right now, Ivy was more concerned with getting Ana off the Pitch. She pried Ana's wand from her grip and brandished it in what she hoped was a threatening way, once again cursing herself for not bringing her own wand. Ivy didn't really want to use it, having had enough with the violence and fighting, but if they tried to attack Ana again... "Stay away," she warned.

With that, she would turn back to Ana and attempt to sling the older girl's arm over her shoulder before making for the exit, although she would keep an eye out for any incoming spells or attacks. She'd had just about enough of the Ball.

The Professors had arrived, now suddenly their assailants and the thieves who had taken what was not theirs were simply departing. Fighting the mosps. As if walking out of agro range resets the memories of their witnesses. As if there was no consequence for their brazen, no stupid and cruel attack. Thomas LeStrange was an odd one, the half-blood bearer of that name was enough for anyone to take notice. His dark and dangerous propensities made him all the more curious. Perhaps it was genetic he reasoned.

A charge was repayment for the kiss, the boy either too young to have the teenage hormones that would drive most teens. That or kisses from girls here, where they were outnumbered by the female gender were cheap. Easy to come by, a dozen willing and a dozen more that would even make the first move. It was now of course time for him to put the final nails in the coffin. "LeStrange," yes he knew the first-year's name. The dancing feet spell would run its course (duration complete if I read the moderation from before),the Ravenclaw would give Thomas a maddened grin. "You look like you have been through hell," no just contending with his personal purple-headed demon.

His eyes scanned for what remained of his bag, one which had been rifled through and contents stolen. He would pick up his bag and attempt to heft it over his shoulder. "Between being baited to a dance," he was referring to Opeila and he was not being quiet about it. "Assailed and robbed," he was not a complete idiot. "Perhaps it is time to find some adults," he announced adding "before they successfully kill someone."

His plan was obvious and simple. Approach a professor (whoever posts next is fine). A bit scuffed, he was not terribly harmed. "Mary!" Well, Marion. "Just find a Professor before those girls get you like Victor!" Again, not hiding it. After all there was no need. Marion looked like she had went through hell and if her tear-streaked face and dirtied clothes were not evidence enough, worse would likely follow. She girl was barely standing (50 health remaining) after she was assailed and robbed. Presently a short boy that looked a lot like the one making a scene over Victor was attempting to make off with Victor's bag. He was not getting very far, that bag was far too heavy for him. [If for whatever reason Vlad's bag was gone and I missed it in the 30-something pages, then pick up Victor's bag instead.]

His plan was simple of course. Find a professor, tell themeverything that happened. About the reckless, dangerous, selfish choices his peers made that nearly cost his friend his life.

"Professor?" Vladimir would cough into the side of his hand. "I am so... sorry, they're crazy," always start in a place of apology. He was the wrong one, they were the right one. Then pull the attention to what he wanted them to notice. Vladimir made no effort to hide anything he said. He did not even need to lie, that was the best part. Perhaps Thomas was with him, perhaps not. "I know I should not have come, it was wrong," he took a few deep breaths. Apologize again. I was wrong, but I need you. "But I am terrified of my fellow students, they attacked me and my friends." Depending on the Professor he approached, they might not know the whole story but they would likely know enough after he added. "The fact that we saw anything was supposed to be a secret! They set my friend on fire, beat up my other good friend, robbed us..." The very reason that their names and faces were not shared in the papers, part of why there was a media blackout. People angry that they shared what they had, presuming that they lied. Not caring if they lied, they wanted that particular witch dead.

If Thomas was there he would nod towards the Slytherin as well. "He tried to help us, but something needs to be done about these sociopaths!"

Since this thread is starting to come to a close in likely another post or two simply detailing out a response to the Professor if they ask.

- If asked who attacked/stole from them he would point out his assailants, Marion's assailants, those that Victor dealt with. There were a lot of them. Yes, it was not very sporting, the many against a few. The thievery, the destruction of their property. The entering a scuffle between a thief and a property owner only to attack the criminal.

- If asked how he knows that his confidentiality regarding being a witness to Umbridge's murder was revealed and a motive he would explain how Rafael attacked him after declaring that 'it was for Potter.'

- If asked what they stole or who stole something, he would describe Selim but he would not give a name. However the boy's unique garb and appearance made him enough of a standout only if he was speaking to the blind Professor would his description fail.

The girls seemed to have no qualms ganging up on her. 'Defending' them from Marion's violence. Apparently they did not have eyes or they did not care why Marion was was fighting back, she should have just let them walk all over her. She was tired of it. Tired of people just taking. Just doing what they wanted and then blaming her. Blaming someone besides themselves. It was mad. She was tired of people taking what they wanted just because they could. A secret could be hers only if they did not want it. Her, no Victor's belongings theirs to take because why... they were curious? Because it was an expression of power. She hardly knew these people, in fact there were a few of them that she could not even name. They did not care if they hurt someone to get what they wanted. They were nothing, irrelevant. Merely an object to cast aside or break at will.

There were some that seemed to care enough to not let Victor die, but she wondered if it would be enough. If it would be too little too late. She felt angry -- if they did not care about her, why the hell should she care about them. She would see Ruka trying to drag Victor's bag away, not another one of them. The wave seemed absolutely endless. Why bother? Just let them-- Let them what? Kill her. Kill her friends. If Victor doesn't die, he was never going to be the same. He was never going to be right again was he? Let them do that? It was not as if they were expecting any consequences for the bullshit. Yeah, bullshit. It felt weird to think that. Like it was wrong to think the word. But it was true, it was bullshit. They were shit.

Vladimir called out to her, told her to get a Professor. Not to get the bag. She eyed the bag, she eyed Ruka attempting to make off with it. Just let him take it? The hell Vlad! She gave the Ravenclaw an incised look, noticing that Thomas LeStrange was near him. What was that guy's problem! Was he a stalker or something? She did not like the guy. But Vladimir was not the sort of guy you told what to do. He was not the sort of guy that got pushed around. She envied that. If anything she should be worried for Thomas if he tried to pull what he did with her.

Right, Professor. She eyed the bag again. No, bag then Professor, she concluded as she went over to Victor's bag (unless Vlad took that bag). She was not strong enough to lift the bag, she would attempt to drag it. Drag it over to the nearest (different from Vlad) Professor. [Basically the Professor after next, if there is none before the next mod then moderator's choice.]

"This is Vic's," she would snap at Ruka the would-be thief. What else could he be considering the evening she had already suffered. "Just like leave us alone." she would then try to pull the bag with her. If not successful, she would not reach a Professor because she was not going to leave without Victor's bag. Well, whatever was left of it.

If she successfully grabbed the bag from Ruka and successfully dragged it by some miracle, she would approach a Professor. She would be sobbing, covered in bruises, some grass stains on her pink dress. "Ermgawd help," she squeaked between sobs. "Like a bunch of students attacked us and my friend got set on like fire." Deep breath, no cry. "And-and they keep trying to steal our stuff. When I try to fight them off, more of them attack." She let out a rather high-pitched cry and closed her eyes tight. Her mascara was running a bit, the claim that it was water-proof was so a lie. "I just wanna go hooome!"

A smirk found its way to the brunette's lips as she noted her friend also raising her wand against the strange third year. Astrea was a skilled witch, and Ana felt confident that between the two of them, they could handle this brutish boy.

Her confidence was utterly misplaced.

Her spell shot from her wand at the same instant that his spell shot from his. The two spells whizzed by one another, and Ana was so focused on trying to watch her own spell hit that she disregarded the curse flying right at her until it was too late. She took the full force of the boy's curse and was flung backwards. Somewhere between when the spell hit her and when she hit the ground, the Gryffindor finally lost consciousness, and as gracefully as could be expected given the circumstances, fell into a heap.

As she slipped away, she felt as though she was underwater. She could see Dale, then Astrea, then Ivy, then Rafa reaching out as though to pull her back, but she was slipping under. Her lungs felt as though they were filling with water and she wanted to scream, but somehow she couldn't. A small part of her fought to reach back to the world, to her friends, but it was useless. An even smaller part of her knew that she was hallucinating, that her lungs weren't full of water, that Dale was still at the table, that Rafa had abandoned her completely and was across the ballroom, that Astrea and Ivy who had fought by her side were still in danger, that none of them were reaching into some imaginary pool in Ana's injured and scared brain. Still, it was somewhat comforting to picture them trying to help her as she descended into darkness. Finally, she slipped into complete unconsciousness and the peace and quiet that came with.

From the outside eye, it would just seem as though the Gryffindor had been knocked out, no sign of the internal confusion and hallucinations. All anyone else would see was the helpless, surprisingly fragile looking form of the fiery Gryffindor.

Marion's knockback jinx hit Opeila and threw her backwards a few meters. The little girl landed on her back, all air was pressed out of her lungs. When her head hit the floor, a flash of bright white pain exploded in front of her eyes. She gasped, tried to breathe calmly, when she slowly sat up. Opeila had that one comibg and she knew it. She had attacked first.

By now, Opeila was simply terrified. What had happened to this ball? It had started in a mess, but only a mess for her, one she had not wanted anyone else to be part of. Where on earth did the mosps come from?
Now that the teachers were handling it, Opeila was ready to scream. In frustration, anger, fear, guilt, it was all a big pile that merged into panic. The teachers gave all this some sort of safety. No one would die anymore. Except...
She looked at Victor on the floor. Was he dead? Probably. If he was dead... It was her fault. And the other organizers' as well. It was a silly thought. Everyone chose to come for themselves, everyone knew that the ball had been cancelled. She just couldn't think clearly. There had been smoke everywhere, Opeila had breathed in quite a lot of it, and her throat was burning... The whole purpose of this evening had failed. She had failed.

She had hurt Flash. She had kicked him in the face. Not intentionally, but what the heck did it matter? She had attacked Marion. And Vladimir. And... Somehow everything had just gone wrong. Everything.
Opeila looked around, slowly getting dizzy, her head still hurting. How had she not been affected by the smoke, when it had been still there?
Opeila gave up. There was no point in trying to keep an eye on her date anymore, she could barely take care of herself.

When she breathed in, it suddenly felt like her throat closed up. Opeila coughed, tried to breathe and coughed even more. She had to get up, find Willow and Flash and get out of here...

She made it up on her knees when she coughed again, the little body shaking. Her hands were shaking. It was like her body was trying to get rid of the smoke... Opeila couldn't breathe.
The world seemed like it was spinning around her now, she almost didn't realize, when her right side met the floor. When did she fall over again?

There was buzzing around her still, screams, but she couldn't help them... couldn't help anyone. I am sorry...Opeila felt like her fead was filled with fog by now, she couldn't think clearly, everything was spinning. She had to concentrate. But right now she couldn't even tell where right and left were.
Action: Trying to focus.

"Jack!"

When Jack heard Ruka call his name, felt the hand squeeze his shoulder, and felt himself be lightly shaken, he snapped out of his trance of staring at the white anaconda to turn to the second year beside him. The Gryffindor had a firm grip on his wrist and was looking at him with a strong expression of concern.

"Come on, let's get out of here."

While glancing around, the older boy let go of the Slytherin's shoulder but kept a hold of his wrist. He took up Jack's bag to swing it over its owner's head so he could carry it, his face set with determination.

"Come on, there's nothing else for you to do here," he urged again. "Leave the rest to the teachers. They're bringing Victor back to the castle now, come on, we can go along."

Oh...right. The teachers. When Jack looked back at the snake, he recalled having seen the thing created from the fire that Professor Lian had transfigured. Long ago, when he'd worried about the peculiarity of giving sentience and life to that which did not have it, the Transfiguration teacher had explained to him that such creatures created from inanimate objects did not have true life, nor sentience, and would eventually return to their original state. Thus, it would have been no use to take the snake back as a pet for Selim. It was originally fire and eventually return to being fire once Professor Lian was finished with it.

Jack heaved a deep sigh. Ruka was right, of course. He couldn't allow himself to get distracted. But...if Ruka was here, who was bringing Victor back to the castle? Glancing back the way he had come, he saw a young lady (Dealla Prince) hurrying after...what...somehow appeared to be Victor walking himself back to the castle. Did that...mean he was okay, then...? Well, at least someone was with him; someone who didn't seem to mean him harm. Jack would make sure to look in on him and his status later. In the meantime, there was still the matter of Victor's bag.

As Ruka tried and failed to lift the heavy bag, Jack's hopes sunk, as he was even weaker than Ruka. There was the possibility that he and Ruka could have tried to lift it together, but even then, he was thinking their chances of success were slim, especially if they meant to carry it out of the pitch. At that moment, Nico came up to them with an offer to help, for which Jack was immensely grateful. Before he could answer her, however, Marion came up to them and began to snap at Ruka.

"This is Vic's," she told the second year sharply in tones that frayed what little remained of Jack's nerves. "Just like leave us alone."

The Slytherin first year's temples began to throb as he grabbed a hold of Vic's bag as well, determined not to let Marion (or Vlad) simply attempt to pull it away.

"We know it's Victor's!" he roared at her with all the frustration and fury that had welled up inside him since the start of the chaos. "We're trying to protect him by protecting it! You're not going to be of much help just crying and screaming for Vlad, so let us take care of this! Shymane is a prefect and she offered to try to carry it on her broom to get it back to Victor faster! Is that not good enough for you?"

His features were pinched in consternation and exasperation. "Worry about yourself, Marion! We're not all your enemies and some of us are just as upset and angry as you are, but the best thing you can do right now is take care of yourself and your own things. We've got Victor and his stuff covered. And...I'm not sure I trust Vlad." His darkened gaze flickered briefly to the Ravenclaw before cutting back to Nico on her Tinderblast broom.

"Thank you, Shymane," he began, meaning every word. "We could definitely use some help, yeah. It's a really heavy bag, though, and something in it might have broken earlier. I'd be grateful if you could try to carry it back on your broom with you, since it seems a bit much for Tân and I. But if you find it's too much for you and your broom as well, maybe it's best to do what Marion had in mind and call a teacher over instead."

Teacher...teacher. Why was something about a teacher still bothering him at the back of his mind?

Oh. Oh no. Flash.

Flash had called out to Professor Lian earlier...but Professor Lian had been busy transfiguring the fire from the Quidditch pitch into the snake to eat the mosps. That meant Flash and the two girls he was guarding with his life - Opeila and Willow - were still likely without aid. When he looked in the direction he had last seen them, a mosp was still attacking; aggressively enough to sting Flash. Maybe a teacher would get to them eventually, but how late was too late?

Making sure the roses and vase were secure in his bag, Jack looked to Ruka, his countenance pained. "Tân," he said swiftly, his heart beating a mile a minute, "I'm not putting myself in danger. I'm just extending what resources and protection I have to...that which I own." He nodded toward Flash. "My property. Thank you so much for helping Victor and I when we needed it. I hope you'll get out of here and keep yourself safe, but I have to make sure your fire is put to good use at least warding away one of these monster bugs."

It was then he turned toward Professor Lian. He wasn't sure if she was finished with what she had meant to do with the snake, but if she was able, he hoped to catch her attention.

"PROFESSOR LIAN!" he yelled. "Flash, Anderson, and Seilun are still under attack by a mosp! Please come quick!"

Then, either doing what he could to break free of Ruka's grip or allowing the older boy to come along, Jack attempted to sprint toward Opeila, Willow, and Flash. If he was lucky, Professor Lian or another adult who could help would follow.

From what he had observed before, the mosps wouldn't or couldn't catch fire themselves, but they seemed sensitive to its smoke and looked like they avoided it to the best of their ability. It was why Jack figured even if spells like the Fire-making Spell, Incendio, could damage them, it wasn't warding them off. For that, Ruka's torches seemed best.

"Get behind me!" he called to the Hufflepuff and his fellow Slytherins, waving his Ruka-given torch at the insect. "They should go away if they're irritated enough by the smoke!"

He had meant what he'd said to Ruka. He was no longer in any danger. However, with people like Willow and Flash stung, not to mention Flash's nose broken by Opeila, there was always the possibility that the brunet Slytherin could have passed out due to blood loss before help could get to him. He would definitely try to over-exert himself if it was to assist others such as the girls.

Jack was not about to let anyone else get more hurt if he could help it. He severely disliked the idea of heroes, but at that moment, that was not what he imagined himself as. All he knew was what he wanted and he was determined to get what he wanted no matter what. It may have been seen as selfless to others, but in Jack's mind, he was being more selfish than ever.

Secret Blossom Ball Event Finished
Interacting with @Vincent d'Arque, @Percival Gray,@Vladimir Athanatos
A sigh of relief came from the professor's mouth as he noticed @Percival Gray's color slightly returning to his face. The boy, speaking in his native tongue, called out softly before looking over at him and thanking him for his help. He heard another voice nearby and he turned to see the boy that he had given the broom to before. If the boy was here, then where was the girl who was seriously injured? Why was he here and not at the castle as he should have been?

When the lad asked if he could be of any help, Artemis had to stop himself from sending a biting reply of 'You shouldn't be here to even ask me if I need help!' But instead, he just sighed. There was no helping these insane kids and if @Vincent d'Arque could successfully help guide Percival off the pitch and back to the castle, that would be wonderful.

"I thought that you would have been back at the castle by now, but since you are here, Mr. d'Arque, why don't you be a crutch for Mr. Gray here and help guide him back and yourself back to the castle where it is safe. We need as many of you off the field as possible in order to take out the mosps and quell whatever other dangers you all managed to create this night." Standing up, Artemis turned to move toward another helpless and weakened student or to ward off another nearby mosp when he was stopped by an approaching student.

He may have had a bag over his shoulder, burned and charred as it was, but he was definitely looking a bit distraught about something. Maybe it had something to do with tonight's nonsense ball? Maybe it had to do with the destruction and near-death sentences these kids were going through right now? Maybe he was a bit empathetic to the plights and wounds that his fellow classmates were suffering with right now. Either way, Artemis tuned in to what the boy was saying and his eyes widened as he heard a few key phrases.
"they attacked me and my friends"
"The fact that we saw anything was supposed to be a secret! They set my friend on fire, beat up my other good friend, robbed us..."
"He tried to help us, but something needs to be done about these sociopaths!"

Artemis wouldn't go so far as to call these kids sociopaths, but what did this child mean by that? Did some of the other students start this fire? And robbing each other?Attacking each other? Setting other kids onfire? What the hell was going on in this school?! It was seeming like a scene from one of his favorite childhood novels "Lord of the Flies"where those boys all pretty much turned on one another and attacked each other for food and other items. Why would the Hogwarts students attack each other in such a hostile fashion? But one other part of the boy's ramblings caught Artemis' ears as he scanned his surroundings for impending danger of flying creatures.

"What do you mean that what you saw was supposed to be a secret? Who are they and why were they beating you and your friends up, damn near killing you, over a secret? What is this secret?" Artemis was suspicious about the secret the boy was talking about but he wasn't 100% sure and needed more clarification. There was no need to jump to assumptions, but if this boy and his friend were in danger from their fellow students, they could possibly be in danger from other people as well.

OOC: I have no idea what Vlad is actually talking about so a small recap of what he saw may have to be given either IC or OOC.
Action: Listening to @Vladimir Athanatos if his action to speak with a professor is good to go.
