I want to add that I had bad experiences in life too… (intense bullying all my school years, and abuses on the web when I was a teen), and I had doubts about Him too, and I am recently returning to believe.Thomas Whiteside wrote: 31 Jul 2026, 19:31 hey, uh, i'd be interested in joining. i currently don't identify as a christian but i am trying to accept Jesus into my life. i won't go into specifics but i am a survivor of abuse and i am having a hard time grappling with the fact that God couldn't stop that. i'd love for someone to pray for me to help accept christ into my life.
I am also a queer person, so it is sometimes hard to deal with not open minded people.

I always say, grass is never greener on the other side! I believe everyone has bad experiences in live. I was taken away from my parents at a younger age and grew most of my life up without them. And although most would have seen that as a bad experience and blamed God, I knew he did that for my best! I am fully convinced that I came out the better end, the way things went then if I would have stayed. God plan over mine, always! Even tho I might not understand now one day I will!<3

That is so true... "God plan over mine, always!" Sometimes it is hard to remember to do, to let go of my trying to control the situations and listen to how He would guide me. It is a learning process for everyone, I think, but I know I would always want He wants for me in the end.Evangeline Fleetwood wrote: 31 Jul 2026, 20:04 I always say, grass is never greener on the other side! There are times when I think that I need to trust in Him, trust that this is His plan but it's difficult, thinking about everything is happening in this world. I'd love to have a completely faith in Him, like other people have. But, anyway, thank you for letting me stay in the club, I'm gonna pray for all of you

thank you. genuinely just thank you so much, this means so much to me.Avery Gray wrote: 31 Jul 2026, 19:50If you would like, I can owl you (or dm. Whichever you're more comfortable with) and work you through this. I understand how hard it can be for what happened to you for it to be hard to accept that God allowed that to happen, and I can talk through what I've learned about life and (even though I don't know the full story) why it could have possibly happened to you.Thomas Whiteside wrote: 31 Jul 2026, 19:31 hey, uh, i'd be interested in joining. i currently don't identify as a christian but i am trying to accept Jesus into my life. i won't go into specifics but i am a survivor of abuse and i am having a hard time grappling with the fact that God couldn't stop that. i'd love for someone to pray for me to help accept christ into my life.

I need a tip...
I wrote an email, a week ago, to a group of Poor Clare nuns, because I want meet one of them and talk a bit about my faith and my recent return into it.
One of them answered me and wanted meet me, but I postponed, saying I had before to study for an university exam due to July 28th. She said "ok" and to make me alive when I will be more free.
Exam now is gone and went good, and I have enough free time for a while for meet her.
But I am unsure and ashamed to write again to her an meet her... and I don't know why.
What I need to do?

Just write! There is no shame, there was no expectation! Your knowledge of faith is still more important then anything else!Gaia Spiral wrote: 31 Jul 2026, 20:56 I need a tip...
