Elena/Vik, my dearest cousin,
Even though our iNPCs were just cousins and you just indoctrinated me into Durm, I still miss you. I'm wishing you the best in life and good luck, I'll always remember you.

Hi Elena.
We didn’t interact much and even though we didn’t, I still felt horrible when I read that post of yours earlier about you leaving the site. I knew people were leaving the site but I never thought Elena Clark would ever leave HiO. You were always so passionate about this site and I really enjoyed reading and looking at all your posts and your codes. I swear every single time I coded, I would go back to your shop, your coding dump, and either get some inspiration or to figure out how you did this and see how I could cooperate it in my own coding lol (most likely still will — you are a magical coder!). Your artwork and coding were always beautiful and gorgeous and I’ll most definitely miss your stunning pieces of art in the art and coding channels in Discord.
Thanks so much for making this site brighter and I wish you well in your path with life. We’ll all miss you. I pray that one day you might return but only if you wish too, but if you do, know that we’ll welcome you with open arms. Thank you, Elena, for being a light and inspiration to this site with your kindness, staff work, writing, and care!![]()

I am so sorry to be reading this </3 the captain chat will be quieter without you, even after so short a stay, and I mourn the spring match that will now happen without you scheming on the other end of it (I was genuinely looking forward to it </333 I had my spreadsheet ready and everything, plus a nervous habit of checking on birb players ever since half your lot started taking stat rel +2 ACC or the muggle condition) we only ever got to strat side by side and never against each other so now I'll never know which of us would have cracked first. But your mental health comes before all of this, and I can tell this decision cost you dearly. Thank you for everything you poured into this place; I wish you a proper rest, and a future worthy of what you gave this community.

one last time (this is my goodbye)
Sometimes, to move forward, it's necessary to let things go that one can hardly imagine living without. I know this, I have felt it before, and I will feel it again.
But this...
Oh lena, reading your departure message left me truly empty, and for a long moment I simply sat, motionless, lost for words. It is no joke that my right hand cannot type, but I will persevere with my left for as long as it takes until this message truly feels complete. And still, I know for a fact that that will never be enough to express everything I am currently feeling. I can only hope it will come through as I hope for it to.
From the very beginning, only days after joining the site, I remember seeing your artwork in the wild. Each banner with your signature style more stunning as the last, and I soon traced them all back to one brilliant soul living somewhere en France. You, my dear Lena. As I slowly came to call the site home, you never failed to amaze me, and even long after your departure, you will always be an inspiration.
Your writing has always been so much more than mere words, or describable as simple "good" or "great". Reading your work has, and will always be, such a joy. The poetry and immaculate skill you have is so present, from the concept of a moonchild to every metaphor you skillfully present, and everything in between. I hope you feel, deep down, how much of an impact it had on this community, on me.
And your code. I never thought BB-Code could become so well structured, intricate, and absolutely perfect for the character it is made for. Never in my entire life did I realize an entire world could come from a small selection of coding tools like there is here. I only even noticed the "table" option months after I joined the site, and by that time, you had mastered it brilliantly, unrealistically well. You are the one who taught me what an aesthetic truly meant, from when I made my first banner to my collection of character pinterest boards now. It will always be an honor to have an ency coded under your name.
But the above two statements are only the beginning.
What I will always admire the most about you is your presence, the unmistakable persona of the writer behind the screen of Elena Clark, who makes everything feel only a fingertip away, everyone feel like they can truly be the person they aspire to be, and take the decision you feel is right rather than the immediately desirable one. You are leaving now, and as much as it hurts to type it – let alone say it aloud, this reinforces who I truly see you as: the person who chooses to acknowledge and face the problem rather than hide from it, as painful as it is to do so; something more mature than I have seen from anyone in months on end.
I said it before, and I will say it again. You will always be an inspiration.
In this final message goodbye, I would like to say thank you. For everything. Even the tears currently forming in my eyes, causing me to pause my typing to wipe them away. More will come, rest assured.
But I digress.
Thank you, lena, for our friendship, each and every conversation, the tarot readings that were painfully honest, every laugh, each moment of fun we shared... oh lena, every word you chose to type for me seems priceless in a way now, and I am so, so grateful to have shared the bond with you that I did.
I hope that you continue to shine for yourself and for others as you have for me, and find the environment that you feel is truly right for you. I wish you the very best, dearest, in every endeavor that you will face, and in prioritizing your mental health above all else.
Good luck <3 Wherever you are, remember that you are a true star, and are worth so so so much, my dear lena.
The end of your presence here may have come, but like a supernova, I will always admire you from afar.
–Your friend always, Lya

We've never interacted before, but I adore your character, and everything about you seems perfect. But you have to take care of your mental health, right? ILYSM All the best Elena
I prefer things that are millions of years old. They're usually less dramatic.

Lena,
It is heartbreaking. I know that the site changed, it changed a lot, and personally I was having the thoughts to quit too. Everything just looks so modern and complex, and that is not how it was in the good old times when I just started my Journey in HIO as a first year. It was simple, and It might of not looked that great, but it did take a huge chunk of our hearts. After all of these updates of the site changing little by little, I knew that something is going to pop up that I dont like. The new animations, technically everything. Everything is just different. And when I have free time to look at different RP's and just savor them without writing my own, I see it. The AI in every single post. Some is obivous. Most is. It gets to me, and I understand why you said it annoys you. I totally respect your desicion even though I am totally devistated that you are leaving this site. I hope you the best, and pure love from me, Andy Loggins of Ravenclaw.
Thank you,
@Elena Clark
