My dear daughter,
I am writing regarding your accommodation arrangements for the summer. As you know, our original plan was for you to come home to Sussex on July 1st, however, your Grandmére has taken ill, and your father and I must travel to France immediately in order to attend to her. I do not wish to disclose the full details to you, but know that her illness is a serious one and cannot be taken lightly. Your father and I may be away for the entire summer.
Alison will be staying in Wales with your Grandmother and Grandfather, who are currently in Wales, as of Monday, and we have decided that you will attend the summer camp until it ends on July 20th. We have arranged for you to stay with your aunt and uncle in London for the remainder of the summer, and they will take you to King's Cross on September 1st. It is most unfortunate that we will not be able to meet, however, I am confident that you will present the Bellamy family well when with the Grahams.

I have a few problems with these "arrangements". While I would certainly love to see Aunt Angharad and Uncle Morgan again, I was most looking forward to coming home. I have not seen you, Father or Alison since September last year, as you would not let me go home for winter break for reasons you are yet to explain. Must you go to France with Father alone? Can't Alison and I accompany you? I assure you, we would not be any bother to anyone.
Even if the answer is no, I am unsettled by the prospect of Alison staying in Wales alone - can she not stay with me? I am sure that the Grahams would not mind letting her stay as well. As you may know already, Aunt Angharad has always had a soft spot for Alison, unlike Grandmother.
The final problem is summer camp. I am not very keen to spend more time with the school than necessary. There have been multiple incidents throughout this year that I do not wish for a repeat of, and I have not established many positive relationships. Hogwarts events with large gatherings appear to be cursed with bad luck, and as the Quidditch match falls under this category, I would rather not attend.
Please take what I have said into consideration. I do not wish to die a premature death.[/font]

Dear Ivy,
These arrangements will work just fine for you. I do not appreciate the ungrateful tone in which you have written your reply. I wished for you to stay at Hogwarts in the winter for your own safety, although now that you have mentioned the incidents that have occurred in the past few months, perhaps I was mistaken.
Shall I pull you out of Hogwarts and send you to Beauxbatons? That was the original plan, and it would have gone through had your Grandmother not sent that Howler insisting you attended Hogwarts.
Speaking of your Grandmother, you'll do well not to speak of her like that again. She treats Alison well enough, and the fact that Angharad "has a soft spot for Alison", as you put it, is the exact reason why your sister must go to Wales. She is far too spoilt and indulgent, and your father and I believe that your grandparents will help get rid of those traits, preparing her for the real world and helping her become a better young lady.
