Never in his life has he thought he would be able to stoop this low. He had low stakes low risks relationships to fill in an empty void that a crush left him. He had cried multiple times in front of people - and worst of all in front of a Hufflepuff. He had broken up a party to save his own skin, he had kissed someones crush in front of them, he had forced a sleepover for someone in the chamber of secret. How much lower could he get?

Hanako felt a smack on the back - a familiar felt of rolled up newspaper that immediately jolted him awake.

" Dozing off again, Mister Tone."

" No I just thought if I just practised the potions in my head, it wouldn't explode in my face. You know. again "

" A joker. Jest is not a potion ingredient I am familiar with. If it is some sort of new discovery you can step right up in front of the class and share with the rest of us" he walks to the whiteboard where floating chalkboard, 2 writing out unfamiliar potions ingredients and 1 just finishing the title in weirdly fancy font:
๐€๐ƒ๐•๐€๐๐‚๐„๐ƒ ๐๐Ž๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ

A nerd. He had never thought he would ever stoop this low.

Upon seeing Hanako's weirdly outstanding grades in potions since his Owl days, his aunt offered to connect him to a sort of extra class from an old friend of hers that was an expert in potions and is now teaching a small class every now and then. Hanako refused at first, but found himself reaching out only after graduation.

It wasn't just a simple course, no. It was a TOUGH one. One he had to take a short examination to even be considered eligible to sign up. It was short but speedy class that waited for no one, with a tough tutor , competitive peers and a concerning fail rate.

This was NOT how Hanako planned to spend his hot guy summer fresh out of GRADUATION.

It got so friggin embarrassing Hanako was at this point using the excuse of 'finding himself' to his roommates about where he's going. Needing to study yet only able to do it when he felt like Jack and Percival weren't going to watch him and know. Which made him instead, frequent places like bars, beaches, libraries, parks to study around the class area.

Clips unfashionably in his hair to get his bangs away so he could read through numerous pages per day, risking his face every time something blows up or someone messes up, getting cuts and injuries from particularly sharp ingredients or carelessness, and getting smacked in the head with a rolled up newspaper every time he feel asleep listening to the old drone talk.

Thankfully - he had Dealla Prince, a potions expert and auror in training kindly offering him potions practice. This was a huge boost to his academic progress. For starters, he liked Dee WAY MORE than he liked the tutor. And she had a way of teaching him that made him feel engaged that mirrored how she had taught him how to be kinder all those years ago.

Making him travel between Whitehaven, London, and Belfast often. He was almost always out early, coming back late. Filling up his time with studying, potion class, and extra training form Dee. Often he brought gifts for her from Ireland as a thank you. A present for her on top of his innately charming presence for her to enjoy - course.

A map of Hanakos wherebouts from grad till early august

And this was a consistent routine for Hanako since his early adulthood up until early august when finally - FINALLY - he was done. No one else would know this but when he got to shake his hand with the professor and getting that certificate, he sobbed, it was awful. But the torture was over, and he was ready to use whatever he learned both from Hogwarts as well as this program.

Would he regret it in the end? Absolutely. He had already come this far, so even if he will regret it, and make an absolute fool of himself - he will remember this one important thing.

People love a hot nerd. He should know.

Andrea Woodsburn paid no mind to what others thought of her, except for her family.

Throughout her childhood, the dove had been an outstanding, obedient little girl. the kind of girl her mother's friends would praise all day long and compare to their own daughters. That kind of approval made her think she was good enough, maybe even one of the best. But she could never compare to her perfect cousin.

Gladys Davino was the daughter of her mother's younger sister, yet she was only two years older than Andrea herself. Gladys was everything: smart, beautiful, well-mannered, wealthy, just like Andrea. So, what was there to compare? Why was she still inferior to flawless cousin? Why was she still second best?

It was during a family gathering when those thoughts echoed in the back of her mind. the classic, gossiping about old neighbors, who has the better reputation, and of course, The subtle hint of contrast between the children's achievements. Andrea's aunt, June Davino, was quite the self-centered woman. she was the youngest among Andrea's mother and uncle. June was also her grandparents' favorite child, after her uncle, Louis Davino, passed away.

With the blatant bias from her grandparents, Andrea's aunt became bold and started boasting about the recent events that happened in her life before the gathering. She had absolutely no shame in competing for her daughter, claiming that Gladys was the golden child of the family. She made sure to make Andrea, and her cousins look like little ducks compared to a swan.

Andrea's mother didn't have any of it. as the middle child between her aunt and uncle, Cecile Woodsburn was often overlooked and ignored despite her success. She could not stand hearing what her younger sister said about both her daughter and niblings. Cecile believed in her little girl, she knew that she would achieve great things soon.

Andrea thought otherwise. it was true, the dove didn't have much to show off; no sports, no inventions, nothing. All she had were her intelligence and family. both sides of her pure-blooded families were well-known for their riches, elegance, and most of all, their intelligence. What better way to prove herself than with the quality she held most dear?

Her parents were both aurors, which meant they usually drained themselves investigating dark magical activities and the like. The dark arts were usually a frowned upon topic, but it was still relevant in the studies of young wizards and witches. During Andrea's first year, she took most interest in her class in Defence Against the Dark Arts, even placing among the top students in her class. At that moment, she knew that defense against the dark arts would become one of her growing passions.

Right after the family gathering, June Davino's words had already latched itself onto Andrea's mind. Though she felt down, she knew it was better to use it as motivation rather than as a lousy excuse to give up.

The dove spent almost the entirety of her summer in her family library, her head buried in books no matter how late at night or how early in the morning. She focused on Defense Against the Dark Arts sinceโ€”mentioned aboveโ€”it was the class she exelled in most. She learned more than what was expected: dark creatures, duelling, and the like.

Her mother would often snoop in on her studying; a look of concern etched on her face as she worried for the well-being of her daughterโ€”who was having the time of her life. She didn't voice her situation explicitly, but her parents had caught on regardless and supported her silently yet unconditionally.

Andrea Woodsburn paid no mind to what others thought of her, except for her family. Rather than staying quiet like she usually did, the dove now began expressing her knowledge and views in her own unspoken ways.

Karime growing up was always interested in magic. Coming from a pureblood family she was always surrounded by magic. Hoping one day to get her wand and be able to go to Hogwarts like the rest of her family and be allowed to cast spells legally. She would read so many books that her family's library had about how certain spells were found/discovered. She would also observe from far away as her tutor would demonstrate some of the spells I would learn when I made it to Hogwarts. Reading about Harry Potter and the Second Wizarding War was always so interesting to her. Learning about the spells used during these events and what they did would excite her. Her grandpa who she was very close to would tell her tales of when he was younger and how my mother's side of the family were always great spell casters and ironically potions was not our strong suit.

Karime is determined, strong and a quick learner. Sometimes she lets curiosity get a bit too much. Finally making it into Hogwarts she was glad to have learned more spells during her first year at Hogwarts. She was a bit too determined having some spells backfire on her during classes but she has learned to be calm and take her time. Whenever she gets the chance to practice the spells she learned in class she reads about different stances and how to make sure she is not cocky in a way. Karime knows from her Mother that it's a skill in her family to be good with spells but her parents can notice the skill is stronger with her. Karime noticed this when during the event โ€œA Final Lessonโ€ that the Incendio spell was stronger than the other kids causing Karime to control her emotions better. After telling her brother about her noticing her spells being stronger than others like in charms class the Wingardium Leviosa spell lasted longer for her and that she was able to levitate heavier things like the desk in her dorm.

Karime is happy to have learned more spells during school and though she is only a second year student she wants to get better at casting spells so she can be able to protect herself and others. She fears not being able to protect the ones she loves and wants to become a great aurora like her parents. Protecting is just a part of her as that's what she was giving all her life and now she wants to repay it. Karime also wants to show her calming presence to help people be confident in her being able to protect them when in danger or needing help.

The familiar is easy to love. It is safe, recognisable, requiring no extra thought or energy to comprehend. It is one of the reasons mothers love their babies and children love their siblings. Similarity is such a useful way of becoming close with people too, matching their hobbies or interests to strengthen your bond in an instant. Unfortunately, familiarity is just as easy to fear, uncanniness replacing the warmth of resemblance with an unsettling presence almost as quickly.

As an only child, especially as one who couldnโ€™t boast many friends from school or any young relatives to take that place, Dido grew up with the vast majority of her relationships based around admiration and idolisation for the person rather than mutual respect. She loved her mothers, her uncle, her grandparents and, everyday, wished she could be exactly like them, as most children do. Unlike most children, she didnโ€™t have a counter-acting force: peers who she could love without necessarily wanting to be them. So, gradually, Dido began to copy her motherโ€™s slight frown as she wrote, matched the playful intonation whenever her uncle told a joke, even started to imitate her grandmotherโ€™s warm but slightly crooked smile whenever she handed over a gift or baked-good.

When Dido arrived at Hogwarts, everything was different. Her role-models became children of a similar age: her room-mate, her new cousin, a prefect, the quidditch captain, that Ravenclaw girl. The ever rotating list of people she might look up to sky-rocketed, leaving her own behaviours just as chaotic. One moment, speaking to Stelle, she would straighten up and twist some almost-bangs around her finger, seeing the girlโ€™s perfectly curled golden locks instead of her own. The next, on her way to see Tina, she would grin wildly, the joyful smile reminiscent of Tinaโ€™s. When following Mikaela around the school, a constant twenty feet between them, her hair would be in a dark braid, her blue badge would sit smugly on her robes and her posture would shift just slightly, becoming the Ravenclaw.

โ€œImitation is the highest form of flatteryโ€
Some people take it well. Those who realise what Dido has done may even feel appreciated, touched by the girlโ€™s naรฏve demonstration of admiration. Others may not notice the changes immediately, instead feeling a sense of companionship with Dido, seeing her as something charmingly familiar. People who know Dido might just ignore it, chalking the shifts up to their friendโ€™s adaptability and occasional nervousness. A few might decide that her lack of consistency in behaviour is slightly strange but eventually just another quirk to be accepted or ignored, without realising that the new actions are more in line with their own than before.

Most do not realise the shift. They only come across Dido and immediately know that something is wrong. Something is slightly โ€œoffโ€. They feel this sense of unease and suspicion as a quiet tick in the back of their mind, noticing the peculiarities too quickly and too randomly to work out what exactly they find so offensive in Didoโ€™s behaviour. They donโ€™t realise the similarity to themselves and donโ€™t understand that the uncanny resemblance in her portrayal isnโ€™t to someone else they know. It is like looking at a portrait, painted with colours that are just slightly too muted or saturated. Or like one of those mirrors at a festival which distort you.

Looking at Dido is the same as looking at your camera when you reverse the settings. She is the opposite side of your face. She is what others see and notice when they look at you. Dido is you but not all of you.

Growing up with her parents that are often busy with work had taught Elisha to find different ways to entertain herself. Bossing around the house elves were her favorite when she was much younger but it quickly became boring as she grew older. She then decided to draw, and though she had sucked at the beginning she had learned to be patient and practice every day 'till her skill had improve.

It was not enough though, she could only draw for how many minutes before her hand started to cramp so she needed another distraction to fill her boredom. It was then did she remember the family library her father often goes to. With the help of the house elves they had chosen fairy tales and picture books, you would find her sprawled on the floor with a book on hand for hours. Sometimes she would become so absorbed in the stories that she would not notice the sun beginning to set until a house elf gently reminded her it was time for dinner. In the end, through reading she had learned how to be focused and let her imagination wander beyond the walls of their home.

When her parents had found out how eager she was in learning they had been ecstatic. Elisha craved that attention. So she studied more, fairy tales turned into magical creatures book, magical creatures into a spell book, spell book into history book, history book into potions books and more. Whenever she finished one book she would immediately ask the house elves to fetch another from the shelves, always curious about what else she could learn. There was always another topic waiting for her, another answer hidden somewhere within the pages.

Each day where her parents are both home, she would present a new knowledge she acquired. Whether it be the story of the three brothers, a fun fact on a magical creatures, types of spell and their pronunciation, the tale of a famous potion master, or uses of aconite in potions, she never fails to present them. Seeing her parents smile or praise her for remembering such details made all the hours she spent reading feel worthwhile.

So when she had received her owl letter from Hogwarts it had already became a habit for her to read the books she had bought for the year, memorizing and studying until she perfectly knows it. She knew that reading ahead would not guarantee success, but it gave her confidence. If there was something she could prepare for, she would. It had simply become part of who she was, always wanting to know just a little more than she did yesterday.

Ever since muggleborn Jack learned that it was possible to cast magic spells without a wand or incantations, he was fascinated with the concept and thought of it as true magic. He devoted his studies to reading up on nonverbal and wandless magic ever since. Researching on his own outside of class and his school curriculums was nothing new for him because he had independently researched and successfully mastered the endeavors of learning how to create and use binding marks as well as becoming an animagus. Thus, he had a history of teaching himself magic not only from studying outside of class on his own and turning in class assignments ahead of time, but also from looking into and practicing difficult types of magic that weren't even officially taught at Hogwarts. Having managed binding marks at the start of his second year and having learned to become an animagus as early as he had been allowed during the summer before his fifth year, Jack had all the confidence he needed to believe he could master wandless magic and nonverbal magic as well. Now that he had graduated, it would be no different; he intended to continue learning, researching, studying, and improving on his own.

Jack would have liked to learn nonverbal magic as soon as he could have, which might have been his fifth Hogwarts year, but he had prioritized becoming an animagus first, then learning wandless magic and then learning the ability to spell spread for the sake of dueling in the Slytherin Dueling Team among other things. Thus, he hadn't had sufficient time to properly devote to nonverbal magic in order to master it until after he graduated. He had prioritized becoming an animagus for the sake of wanting to experience life as an animal for a time and then wandless magic had been after that because he had thought one was much more likely to find themselves without a wand than without their voice to speak a magical incantation. Then he had gotten into the Slytherin Dueling Team his final and seventh year, so spell spread had seemed the most efficient magic to spend his time learning toward the end of helping out his dueling teammates. Otherwise he would have made time for learning nonverbal magic sooner. Now that he was finished with his Hogwarts curriculum, however, he had all the time he needed outside of his new job working as a News Aide to learn how to cast magic nonverbally.

Due to being an extreme perfectionist and being skilled at the concentration aspect of spellcasting, casting nonverbal magic also seemed ideal for Jack to learn. This was because nonverbal and wandless magic-casting were each difficult enough on their own with high chances of not only failure, but of backfiring. However, Jack was so precise with his magic-casting that he had learned to avoid his spells backfiring on him at all. Furthermore, both nonverbal and wandless magic was known for requiring high amounts of mental ability and concentration, both of which Jack specialized in, so he had no concerned about meeting those qualifications. In a way, one could say he had been preparing for it all his magical educational life since he had practiced concentrating from the time he learned it was a main component in casting spells and had almost always had the goals of nonverbal and wandless magic in mind. To Jack, their combined skills, in addition to the ability to cast without even needing a gesture at all (the result of mastering both skills) were the pinnacle of achievement in using magic.

To only need to be conscious and able to concentrate on casting magic by thinking of the spell and incantation had a million applications in Jack's mind. His artist friend, Kit, had learned nonverbal and wandless magic as well, so Jack had learned from him how beneficial they could be. Kit could do things like change the color of the paint on his paintbrush with just a thought while he was painting, saving a great deal of time, energy, and unnecessary brush-cleaning and messy paint-changing. As a newly-hired news aide aspiring to be a journalist and an information broker, Jack could think of a myriad of other applications for the abilities as well, many of them involving stealth and subtlety. Being able to cast with just thoughts was quiet and sneaky which was ideal for someone who admired and idolized tricksters and aspired to learn information that was difficult to obtain. Therefore, there was no doubt in Jack's head that he wanted to get the hang of getting all of it down perfectly, just as he had with all the other magical skills he had been determined to figure out and accomplish. So, shortly after graduation, that was exactly what he did.

At the young age of eight, Diana Roberts had learnt to trust the quiet feelings which she couldn't properly explain. Those instincts occasionally accompanied the prophetic flashes which revealed her gift as a seer, and these began happening during her seventh year in life. While the visions themselves were rare and unpredictable, the feeling that something was off or deserved a second look became increasingly familiar. Rather than treating every moment as something strange different or magical, Diana developed the habit of slowing down to observe her surroundings and to consider possibilities before acting. This habit slowly became second nature and so has noticing things that others may overlook.

During her first year at Hogwarts, her habit seemed to grow even more stronger. The castle was full of moving staircases, shifting portraits, hidden passages, enchanted objects, and countless distractions that encouraged students to rush to one place than the next (what else would you expect from Hogwarts?). Diana found herself pausing however. She paid attention to unusual sounds, watched people's expressions, noticed when rooms felt different than they had the day before, and often found herself quietly studying situations before she involved herself. Diana slowly came to realize that many of her instincts proved to be correct while other students sometimes dismissed these observations as coincidence.

There were small movements which reinforced her confidence. She'd hesitate before turning a corner only for a student to rush past. She'd notice a loose stone before someone stumbled over it or she'd sense someone was nearby moments before they appeared. However none of these were dramatic enough to be called visions nor were they something she could consciously control. They seemed to reflect the awareness she'd built through patience, careful observation, and a willingness to trust her instincts without letting them control her.

Diana came to understand that not every gift needed to be extraordinary to be valuable and she came to understand this as she continued learning. While her visions remained unpredictable her awareness became something she could cultivate actively. By combining her natural intuition with deliberate observation, Diana found herself developing a sharper understanding of the world around her. Diana notices things when they feel out of place, when a situation changes unexpectedly or even when someone is trying a little to hard to go unnoticed. Diana has learned to trust both her eyes and instincts rather than relying solely on prophecy which allows her eyes and instincts to work together.

Through these experiences Diana was taught patience. Diana learned to paused think and quietly assess what was happening around her instead of jumping straight to conclusions. She also found that careful observation often revealed answers that rushing past would've missed.

Though at the moment Diana thinks this new feeling is connected to her seer gift which means she doesn't know what to name this new feeling. However as she grows up she'll soon realize that this new feeling she has is an added bonus to what she already has as a seer. Not many seers get this other ability in which Diana has, so she's a special seer.

When asked what he would like to be when he grows up, Demo's answer is always:

" A robot"

A what?

For someone that valued functionality over most things, 'beauty' means extremely differently to Demo. When he stares at people, he doesn't see high cheekbones, full lips, jawlines, eyelashes and mesmerizing eyes. He sees flesh! And flesh is a gross thing! Instead, he had always obsessed what was underneath someone. Since he could only understand it in a tangible way, that was all he saw with the adults around him. Walking piles of flesh that were only slightly different from one another, and still not as easily understood as how machines could be.

All machines had a part, and purpose, and a way to achieve it's aim. The straightforwardness, and instruction manual that came with things that could be build fascinated the young boy. But humans? Gawd Humans! They came with no friggin manual and that's the infuriating part! They had some rules, some common patterns. A frown = negative feeling. A smile = positive. But they all do so in such different ways, and what do you mean a smile could also mean negative, and a frown could be positive depending on facial structure, psychology, resting faces, and experience?! This was so confusing!!!

And due to that confusion, Demo hardly had the capacity to register if someone was deemed attractive enough for him to be distracted just for the simple reason of their genetic lottery. An attractive face wasn't even worth registering in his brain unless they posed some sort of other value he could actually register. Like usefulness, skill, etc.

It probably didn't help that he had not grown up around a lot of other children his age. Due to his constant sickness, and prior leg limbs deformity, he kept mostly to his room or around the grounds of his estate, away from other kids. And with no time to comprehend the effect visual powers had over aspects of life.

It was told to him by his caretaker that as a child, instead of drawing his family human shaped like most kids - it would look more like a roblox character. Which he would then draw on a separate paper, detailing imaginary, nonsensical 'parts' of the people he drew, making up functions and features as if they truly were machines. The story brought some of his staff what looked like a 'positive' expression, though it didn't help Demo understand why. To him, this was the most important to him when he assesses anyone. Who is it. What is in it. Where, and How. Completely dismissing the visual aspect someone has as something too confusing. Unaware of the charm his simple-mindedness was capable of possessing.

Languor, according to some dictionaries, was the perfect descriptor of a particularly suffocating summer.

Koko wasnโ€™t one for overly-pretentious words, but even she had to admit that the languid summer of 2025 stretched on for far too long, and that languor described it perfectly. Oppressive stillness was something she found mirrored not just in the sultry air but also in her life โ€“ you could only have so much enjoyment being the star of the bench in a Quidditch game, after all.

Thus, she began to search for enjoyment in other things. As she pursued the first year of her career with the Cork Quidditch team, she slowly registered interest in other hobbies. From interacting with anyone she could โ€“ a taxing feat as an introvert, yes, but someone needed to network and it might as well have been her โ€“ to finding a passion for jewellery and makeup, she began to fill her off days with all sorts of things. Always, though, she came back to potions.

At school, she had enjoyed the subject, as much as she could enjoy any of her classes. As an adult, she found potioneering practical. It never hurt to have bruise removal paste or a nice extra dose of the beautification potion, after all. But despite the ease and comfort of brewing, it eventually grew dull, just as Quidditch was beginning to.

She could not have this.

Luckily, applicable subjects allowed for growth. Reading could be found anywhere, which Koko, even as someone who generally disdained reading, indulged in. But the real pull lay in the less trodden path. Everyone could brew Cure for Boils. Perhaps not everyone could so easily brew Asklepion Ambrosia. But even fewer had great success with those potions deemed restricted โ€“ felix felicis, polyjuice, all that jazz.

The status being a local brewer โ€“ and, of course, dealer โ€“ of the less available goods could give her was the initial motivation. However, as she continued to read and practise, she found that there was a level of thrill in the experimentation, too. Potioneering was rigid โ€“ recipes, if not followed to a T, could prove disastrous. With something new, though, there was always ample room for error. Koko did not intend to test this herself โ€“ though thrill-seeking and ambitious, she was hardly stupid. She would speak to others; she would begrudgingly read every book she could. She began to shadow Faolรกn Burke, the head of a select potion brewery in the magical quarter of Cork โ€“ what sheโ€™d once called a hobby began to take over what remained of her free time.

Within carefully-hidden margins of notebooks, her cramped handwriting began to spell out the results of tests of various ingredients. Cauldrons and methods became like a wand, like a broom: an extension of herself. Yet even within the experimentation of hobbies remained a respect for rules.

Back in school, Koko had easily secured Os on her Potions OWL and NEWT. She had not expected what had been a pleasing hobby to grow into something more serious. Now, though, she flicked through ancient tomes and did her best to instil complex recipes into her mind โ€“ those which were deemed restricted by some, but which marked fortune for others. She slowly made contacts, finding friends in libraries and apothecaries. It started as a hobby, just something to keep her occupied in days when she otherwise would have felt listless. It became something in which she found success, finesse, pleasure โ€“ power.

So when Faolรกn handed her a slip of paper asking her to brew Essence of Insanity, she didnโ€™t think twice before double-checking the recipe and searching, with a genuine smile on her lips, for two measures of beetleโ€™s eyes.

Y6 Ability: Fearless
Reducio
Despite attending a school where things could get out of hand very often and very fast, Guinevere did not seem to be rattled by it often. One could even call her fearless, though it was not always this way.
She, in her earlier years at Hogwarts, often would startle easily at the abnormalities decorating every twist and turn of those hallowed halls. She was a half blood, after all, and was somewhat closer to her mother's - a muggle, who was very interested in maintaining her sense of normalcy - side of the family. For example, Guinevere was very well versed in muggle technology; she had received the latest model of smartphone as a birthday gift when she was fourteen, though was only able to use it when she was home for vacation. And, despite using Floo often and appreciating the spontaneous teleportation aspect of it, Guinevere had developed a curious taste for airplane food. Or maybe it was just because her mother was quite well off and the family always flied first class.
In addition, Guinevere had always liked the feeling of being stable and certain. She was already perfectionistic, maybe even a bit too sure of herself regarding academics, sometimes. It was predictable and easy to rely on. In other aspects of her life, this reflected as a near constant neatness; her side of the dorm was pristine, though not without character. She even made sure that her cat Aeluin always had pristine and shiny fur, though how long it would last for was not up to her.
In an excursion to Castelobruxo in the summer before sixth year, Guinevere, in a bout of confusion and stupidity had signed up for a Capture the Flag game. She had arrived and promptly broken into a sweat while listening to the premise of the game. Dangerous things lurking in the forest?? Oh Merlin, there was a reason Guinevere had never dared to even go near the Forbidden Forest, and that wasn't even because she was a goody two shoes that never dared to break rules. She was much too focused on saving her own skin. Later she also realized there would be traps; squeaky monkeys that reached for one's wand, and a siren-like woman- person, thing, she did not know- luring fellow players towards the water... this girl was shivering in her boots. To make matters worse, Guinevere had a deep almost fear, almost respect for those older than her, and most of her opponents were precisely that.
That did it. For the rest of the game, or at least for the first few rounds, she promptly forgot about being nervous, plowing on and being decisive. Guinevere hated feeling scared. It in turn made her feel stupid and small and weak, despite how tall and stronk she was. Perhaps it was the pure disgust at the feeling of fear that shocked her mental wiring to eliminate it, or maybe there was some degree of magic to it, kind of like a first instance of magic. For Guinevere, it was a first instance of fearlessness. WC: 512
