The morning dew had finally decided to hover descended upon the following tributes including her and Dido. The camp she had made previously last night had worked splendidly. Now it was time to get to today’s errand and build a shelter. Some tributes, if she was not mistaken were escorted to go to Fawkes’s house. Now she got intrigued on who got escorted and if one could say eliminated. But alas it was not her affair to have her mind wrapped upon.
Right on cue as if second nature, she saw dusk had made it’s arrival as well, and promptly left the following group. That lot might have more to offer and would’ve taken the chance to render her of being able to escape. Fortunate enough to have made it to Dido her other tribute.
“Dido, I’m heading out to get supplies for shelter and food. I suggest you also follow suit.” she lingered her torso slightly as she positioned herself slightly just in the right side, the coast was clear and she had made out a view and a path to go hunting for material and food. While her arrival was simply for a brisk moment and sudden she had to pace herself and make haste.
"Your as pure as the driven snow."

| xx | ”H it them while they’re slowed” apparently did no good; the spell he had cast had shot past its target and into the void beyond. His partner’s spell had missed too — he didn’t know what he had expected, entrusting a stranger to attacking the same person. Leaving offense alone for the time being, his temporary partner and himself settled down in an obscure corner of the arena, hopefully nestled tightly away from threatening eyes. It was night — or, artificially induced “night” — and some form of cold had descended. Luuk was well-versed in survival; living in such a household and the time he had spent in Brazil lended itself quite well to the art. Stick and tinder were piled, and a fire was ignited. The Durmstrang girl — Alicia, as she had introduced herself as allegedly (he was unsure as to whether that was her true name) — constructed a shelter. The boy was hesitant as to enter, for the enclosed space rendered it overly simple for the girl to blast his guts out with a spell and be done with it. A moment of deliberation. One spent staring at the flickering flames. And then he entered, a rare display of trust; or perhaps he was becoming rustily gullible. The night strangely passed without betrayal, but it was of course not without obstacle. A flaming explosive emerged from seemingly nowhere. He thankfully was able to scramble out of the way in time. |

Things were going fairly well for Evangeline and her cousin. The bomb Evangeline had thrown at that one girl, Naina her name was? She had no idea, and it didn't matter. It was one person less in the games, one person less to worry about, one person less to be able to take them out. Even lighting the fire which was all thanks to Amethyst had gone correctly, according to plan. At least now she was having warm, and she was still having shelter. But food? yea that wasn't on the table just yet.
Evangeline was getting crankier with the minute. I mean, who wouldn't be without any food? She was trying to distract herself with thinking who her next victim would be, or what to do next, and of course with the many plants surrounding them. Which was probably her favourite aspect of the games. Being surrounded by nature. It was scare tho, at some points because, what if someone tried to attack them? What is someone took out Amethyst and Eva was all alone? She wouldn't be able to handle it. I mean Ame was the one to keep her going, was the smartest one too. Evangeline didn't know much spells or know anything about duelling, Ame did. Evangeline knew things about plants, and that really, was about it...

Before even checking to see if her spell had hit Mikaela, Dido was sprinting away, barely listening to the havoc all around as she tried to dash away from the girl before she could strike back. Unfortunately for Dido, the lack of the sound of kicking convinced her that the, well-timed but seemingly useless, Tarantallegra spell had not quite gone as planned. Damn it. She would have to find another way to get the stupid Ravenclaw out of the competition.
Slowing her pace down to a jog, she reunited with Angel, who was somehow looking no worse for wear, despite the events of the “day”. Giving the sweet girl a nod, still unwilling to fully meet her eyes, Dido mumbled a “Good idea,” to Angel in response to her plan. It wasn’t a really brilliant idea, Dido had to admit. After all, with the moderator seemingly down, no one was stopping them from cheating or being a little more aggressive. Though, Dido had to wonder, for a moment, what Fawkes’ plan had been if someone got actually injured- with blood and everything. The only duel Dido had seen was the one where she had been the first down so, unlike some of her competitors, she had spent less time seeing those who had been knocked out by magic and not bludgers.
As she watched Angel leave, an idea struck her. If spells wouldn’t work against Mikaela, something else definitely would.

⚔︎ | MAGNUS BLACKWOOD ───────── xx CODED BY ELENA CLARK |
⚔︎ MAgnus just looked pleased that he manage to survive those bombs, how did he survive it ? He honestly didn’t know but he managed to survive it so he honestly wasn’t about to complain. He just carried himself back to the shelter he had built while dusting himself off. Magnus still was trying to just get a grasp on this whole hunger games idea and wrap his head around it yet as it all truly didn’t make sense to him but he was slowly getting the hang of it at the moment as truly all he and his team for the moment had to do was survive.
As he made it back to the shelter he went inside and just laid on the little bag they had to sleep on. Magnus would do much better if it wasn’t like hot and humid outside he worked better in cold weather anyway since he was used to living and working out in it so it wasn’t anything new to him. As he laid on the ground Magnus had a weird realization, somehow the universe kept pushing him and Arno into situation together rather it be this game or the time they got detention they both seemed to be put into each others space must to both there disliking.
It was honestly weird but Magnus wouldn’t complain much as when Arno wasn’t such an ass Magnus could get a long and stay quiet long enough to sometimes not bark out insults. Not sometimes of course.⚔︎

The Hunger games

Amethyst and Evangeline had decided to stay inside their makeshift camp. The arena was now made significantly colder, perhaps to make the assumed night feel realistic. Amethyst did not mind the chill so much, but Eva did.
The Slytherin had managed to light a fire without a wand, much to her own astonishment. Striking two rocks against each other was perhaps not the hardest thing she could have done. Spells were quicker, still.
For now, they were warm. However, both of them were equally unable to find food, and Amethyst could feel her cousin, beside her, getting crankier over time. Amethyst loved Evangeline; she really did, but the 13-year-old was not the best at handling tantrums if her cousin decided to throw one.
Seated still, she looked around the arena to see who could be her next victim. From her safe spot. She was not ready to get out just yet. Her surroundings were nothing less than a mess; a few people had already passed out. And yet, so many people could be a good target. Amethyst watched as Evangeline carried out their plan of bombing Naiane. Success. She shifted her focus.
What could happen if she decided to attack the moderator herself?
Friendly fire.
Fawkes was a dear friend of hers, but a flipendo wouldn't hurt her much.

TERRIBLE PRESENCE [AFFECTS ALL] | PERFECTIONIST | BINDING MARK [BORAM]
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────Blasted children, once again the kids had attempted to make arno the target of their spells and once again he'd manage to evade them. This whole ordeal however began to have it's own trials and tribulations upon him as the game proceeded. Was there no true knight among them, one who would face him face to face instead of resorting to such deceitful tactics of diversions and escaping his wrath. Nonetheless, the worst transgression against him came from a life form he hadn't even chosen to interact with as it threw a bomb near his shelter. Fortunately, fate favoured them all as they escaped unscathed but these cold attacks had to cease. If one could not do much about them, there was at least the idea of continued evasion, surely these dumb skulls could not keep up with his endurane and resilience despite the best of their efforts.
And so was something Arno ready to test out, what or how the events transpire no longer mattered to the boy from Durmstrang, what mattered now was achieving his goals; for now the victory that remained to be seized. There wasn't a shred of doubt within him regarding his capabilities, or those of his teammates. Onwards it is.─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Boom. Fire and hazard. Hayato woke up from a brief five-minute nap to a mess. What had happened? Startled, he had no idea. Their shelter seemed to be shattered by the unknown bomb. He rose up and calmed himself by crossing his arms. Though it was a shame to see his self-built shelter be bombed away, he was glad that no one, especially Naiane, had suffered through any injuries that were too serious. His brow furrowed at the scene.
Before the bomb, everything was peaceful. He had even gone out with Naiane to find the food, though they had got nothing. Digging and searching they had done. It wasn’t too frustrating for him in a way. He knew it wasn’t easy, because as the game went on, other players would plunder and collect the resource. Greed was in the seven deadly sins. It was in humans’ nature. He found it useful to not trust people at first. He had tasted the bitterness from failure and betrayal before.
The light gradually turned back to the color of the sun. Warmth came back as well. Thirty minutes had passed. The time flew sooner than he had expected for the game. They had another round to fight for their win, but at least they survived through the night.

crafted by minyu mccullen“Cowards,” Naiane seethed before pushing her bangs back to assess the damage. Their shelter was reduced to wooden scraps with nothing left salvageable. Her fist curled blood boiled upon realising that Hayato’s hard work was well and truly ruined. She fell silent, mentally cursing whoever was behind the disaster before taking a deep breath. That was all the attention she would spare them.
When she realigned her focus, her fingers relaxed. Her allies seemed as though they could handle themselves, yet her gaze swept over them just in case. Her findings revealed no clear injuries. That was a positive sign. If there was anything to be positive about at the moment.
Facing Hayato once more, Naiane furrowed her brows and asked: “大丈夫ですか?1” Her hand instinctively reached out as concern flickered in her eyes. Yet when it was merely inches away from his shoulder, she quickly withdrew. She knew that he wasn’t hurt, but the verbal confirmation provided more reassurance than a visual inspection.
A sharp pain jolted through her arm when she moved, reminding her that she was caught in the blast. The sensation was irritating, but nothing more than a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. When the sun rose, its golden light embraced Naiane and illuminated her darkened eyes as she pondered her next move.

Gloria woke up, well not really woke up. More like snapped out of the daze she had been in last night. Her attempt at making a tee-pee from sticks yesterday didn't quite go as planned. She had slept on the pine needles with her bag underneath her so that if anyone was walking by they would not see the food. After pondering what to do she decided that it would be good to have a compliance. Gloria reviewed who has an ally or allies and who had none. She settled on trying to find a girl named Mille. She had seen her on her way in to Fawkes, the moderater's house. From what Fawkes had announced she knew that Millie had found or made a shelter. Gloria quickly ate a few berries for breakfast and stared on her way to find Millie. Gloria quickly realized there was to much happening on the ground. She was going so far around the chaos, as to not get involved, she was getting tired. At this rate she was never going to find Millie. Gloria quickly climbs up a tree and takes inspiration from Rue, a contender from the real first book, and starts jumping from tree to tree to find Millie. Hopefully she will accept the offer and not knock me out on spot.
