If doing an RP thread that's basically just in class is it allowed to mention a professors name and do very minor godmodding? By that I just mean basically describing what's in the lesson plan and what's taking place in the class, but obviously no direct interactions or things that are out of the ordinary.

like very bad example but just something along the lines of: Today Minyu had X class with professor X, who talked about X. (obviously replacing the X's with the actual context of the scene)
Totally understandable if not allowed, just wanting to make sure of the rules!
Make sure to owl or dm the professor to gain approval of using their character in your RP and light godmodding. :) even if it is directly spoken from the lesson. :)
Yeah, I figured that would probably be the answer! I don't want to step on anyones toes, but what if you just don't mention the professor at all but just mention the class.
Again bad example but: Minyu is in X class today, and the lesson is about X. She is looking out the window and is bored.
Would you still need approval for something like that, since it is implying that they're there? (because obviously you can't be taking the class without a professor present.)
I would strongly recommend, as a former professor (Elmo Break- HoM, Octavius Baird- Astro, Nurse, HoM) to double check with the professor. Chances are, they'll say yes. I think what you said is fine, but I might suggest ensuring the syllabus says that exactly, because for example, you wouldn't be talking about a 5th year topic at 1st year unless it was specifically named in the syllabus. However, each professor has their preferences. I specifically preferred for people to stick with the curriculum I was in the midst of writing over the old curriculum from professors before me because if it was during my tenure, I wanted them to learn from MY tenure, not from past tenures.
Ahh, alright! Thank you for taking the time to answer, that does make a lot of sense.

You should receive them sometime within 24-48ish hours of the homework being graded. Though sometimes professors forget since they're human as well so I would recommend owling whoever graded your homework. :)

So, I know you can link posts with

Code: Select all

, but I have seen others links words inside a post. Like in Site Rules, Quidditch System, when you click on a position, you don't go to the beginning of the post, you go where that word is. I hope it's understandable what I'm saying. My question is, how do you "link words"?

By using refs!

You create the link like so:

Code: Select all

Then you write this command before the section you want it to jump to:

Code: Select all

[ref=xxx]
You can write whatever you want instead of 'xxx', just make sure to write the same thing in both parts, hope that helped!

Not quite! You can just use . The ref can be used if, say you have two spots in a paragraph to direct to the same link. Instead of linking it twice with the url code just use the ref command ^^

Just a random question
Imagine the father is a Dhampir and the mother is a veela. Which breed does the person become??

I prefer things that are millions of years old. They're usually less dramatic.
