EXACTLY!!! Or grimmauld place sorry if I misspelled it, or in general, anywhere that's not public! If so, it's illogical. What sense does it have if they can't appear in "private places" like common rooms but they can appear at the sports lockers?? Is it me or there is always this one bean I always miss. Mine is Strawberry Cream, I kept missing it and eventually got it and only once so far. 
i literally remember collecting every single bean found in the bean location thread when I used to be more active not as much since I finished my first collection and I would alwyas miss that bean and I eventually got it I'm not kidding when I said I would wake up at 4AM to try to see if it came up
