Edmund Springhall chased after his sister Lindsey. He was wandering carelessly and it seemed that he really enjoyed his evening in the corridors. However, Lindsey didn’t hear him and he soon lost sight of her.
—————————
-Where’s Lindsey heading?
-The Rehearsal Room.

The voice in Lindsey’s heart said.
—————————
Lindsey opened the door. Musical instruments were everywhere, and people were singing and dancing merrily. Wow! She thought.
Lindsey walked towards a piano. It’s really beautiful, just like the one in her home. She casually placed her hand on the keys. Her fingers moved quickly up and down, dancing on the piano. I should have take my flute here. Lindsey said to herself.
She learned how to play the piano when she was young. Actually, everyone in the Springhall family knew how to play at least one musical instruments. Her elder brother, Edmund can play the drums. While her cousins Enjy was able to play cello and Ferre was good at the violin. Her grandmother also taught her to play the flute. She put it in the dorm today and forgot to take it with her. It’s a very beautiful flute, made of bamboo and carved with pretty patterns.
Lindsey sat down. She put her long, white fingers on the keys again. Music flew out from the piano, just like if Lindsey’s above the clouds.

One thing Elspeth had tired of, when it came to being in Ravenclaw, was having to cart herself up so many flights of stairs every day carrying the massive text books her classes demanded. She made it to the fourth floor, her third time up and down the stairs today, and decided she wanted to sit down for a bit before carrying her things back up to the towers. As she stepped off the stairwell and onto the landing, she heard the sound of a piano playing somewhere down the hall. Magical things happen all the time at Hogwarts, but Elspeth hadn't heard someone playing a piano during her time here yet. The music had a kind of pull on her, guiding her toward the rehearsal room.

It made sense that the music would be coming from here. Elspeth had known that Hogwarts had a rehearsal room, but she'd never gone in search of it. She was hardly a performer of any variety, much preferring the safety of being in the audience for a show over showing off her talents. Or, lackthereof. But whoever was playing now sounded so... confident. The keys were struck decisively. Each note flowed directly into the next. That was the kind of commitment Elspeth had never managed to find with anything creative. She gave up whenever she realized she wasn't very good at something, and it turns out that almost no one is good at something when they first start it.

The door was still ajar and she was able to watch from the hall. Her body was a small dark shadow, glancing in on what looked like a warm and lovely scene unfolding. Students were around in pockets, practicing their singing and dancing. And there in front of her was a girl on the piano. She couldn't have been much older than Elspeth, but Elspeth couldn't believe someone her age could play anything that well. Is this what happens when kids start to learn the piano when they're really young? Why hadn't her mother bothered to saddle her with an instrument when she was a toddler? She couldn't have protested as much then...

As her mind wandered she began to slide a little down the door frame until her center of gravity fell too far forward, and she slipped into the room. Her hands popped up quickly enough to break her fall - but her entrance had been conspicuous to anyone paying much attention around her. She quickly stood up and brushed herself off, looking back toward the piano player to see if she'd noticed.

Cassie and their fellow Slytherins decided after Professor Vernatis dismissed the class, to popped into the Rehearsal Room instead of directly going to the Dungeon. One of Cassie's friends dare them to play the piano but Cassie shook their head. "My expertise of playing the instrument it is not for your entertainment"Cassie said arrogantly.

Their friends booed and jeered them in playful manner. A single boy among the group shoved Cassie playfully. "Oi!"Protest Cassie. The boy let out an amused laugh. Then when Cassie jokes with their friends, a Hufflepuff girl entered the room. Her hands touch the silky black piano and the keys then the girl sit down on the bench.

Her fingers dance expertly on the black and white keys. Cassie smiled at the sight that they seen. "Is that a smile I see?"One of Cassie posse teasing them. "Shut it"Cassie look at the girl and the girl immediately go quiet. Cassie examine the Hufflepuff girl, then Cassie remembered that they and the girl meet on the corridors some weeks ago.

Lindsey was so immense on what she plays, she seems lost in her own world. Then Cassie eyes diverted to the ajar door where a Ravenclaw girl standing. The girl look at Lindsey that still play on the piano. Cassie smirks and waiting for something to happen. And just like that the universe seem give Cassie what they want.

The gravity pull the Ravenclaw girl down and Cassie laugh at her misfortunes. The girl quickly stood up and brushed herself off, looking back toward Lindsey to see if she'd noticed. Unfortunately Cassie was the one that see the embarrassing fall.

"Oi, Ravenclaw! Are you just going to stand there all day or what?"Cassie called out the girl and their friends finally take notice at the girl and laugh. Cassie crossed both of their arms and smirk at the Ravenclaw girl.
OOC Note - To avoid the confusion, Cassie and their friends already in the Rehearsal Room before Lindsey entered and play the piano.

Elspeth had just regained her footing and was feeling okay when her stomach dropped. She'd been so preoccupied with watching the piano player that she hadn't thought about if any of the other students had noticed her in the room. When a voice called out at her she could tell she'd called the wrong kind of attention to herself. She turned her eyes to see who it was, and felt her face flush with embarrassment when she realized it was Cassie Ironwoods. Oh no. Come on. No.

Although Elspeth had never interacted with Cassie before, she recognized her from around the school. Cassie was the kind of student that Elspeth found deeply intimidating. The kind of student who could convince you that what they were saying was absolutely the truth, even if you had no idea if they were just spouting off or not. Cassie had the kind of confidence that seemed to spring not from experience but from some well within her that made Elspeth shrink like a wilting flower. Which is exactly what she felt like doing at that moment.

She began to take a couple small steps backward, "Oh, um... sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt. I was just... um" she stammered, barely above a whisper. As she took another step backward she felt the doorframe push against her back. This was the moment when she had to make a choice. All of the books she'd been carrying up the stairs toward the Ravenclaw tower were strewn about the entrance. But more than anything she wanted to bolt from the scene as fast as she could. They're all going to think you're some creeper weirdo who stands outside people's dorm rooms staring in if you just keep standing there and gawking at them.

As much as she wanted to run away, she knew she couldn't just leave her things there. She bent down, working to scoop them up in a pile as quickly as she could. Her hands were so shaky with nerves, though, that as she managed to stack up the heavy books the pile would continously tip over and she'd have to try and stack them back up again.

Cassie for afar look at the Ravenclaw girl shrinking back and make Cassie grin mischiefly. When the Slytherin girl look at the Ravenclaw starting to collect her books, Cassie descend from one of the level in the Rehearsal Room. "Oh no, you do not get to leave this room just yet"Cassie said to Ravenclaw as they walk towards her like a prey.

One of their pursuivant, walks beside Cassie. A girl with wavy red head hair and brown eyes look at the Ravenclaw girl with giddiness. Once both of them stand beside the Ravenclaw girl, the red head girl take all of the Ravenclaw books and put in somewhere that the girl can not reach. "You just what?"Cassie put their arm on the Ravenclaw shoulders.

"Elspeth is your name, no?"Their thick Cuban accent seeped through. "Seriously, why all of you Ravenclaw are this clumsy?"Cassie inquires the girl. First Lizzie, then Nell now this girl. Cassie slowly bring Elspeth into the middle of their circle. Push Elspeth gently, so the Ravenclaw sit down on one of the chair in the middle of their circle.

"Why do not you stay for a while, friend. I promise I would not bite"Cassie stated in an insulting tone. They put their face into Elspeth's personal space. "Right, guys?"Cassie retracted their face from Elspeth's personal space and spoke with their normal voice to their pursuivant. The other fellow Slytherins cackle.

Elspeth had clearly made a mistake in coming into the room. She felt frozen like some kind of deer in a forest as Cassie approached her. Although Cassie was just an other student, and wasn't even being particularly scary, Elspeth felt her heart begin to beat faster and faster. Her feet felt rooted to the floor and she couldn't, for the life of her, figure out why she wasn't moving away. Do something! Walk away! Say something! ANYTHING! It felt like she was watching herself from the ceiling of the room, looking down and helpless to save herself.

While growing up, Elspeth had never had many difficulties with other kids. She hadn't really had many times to play with them, spending most of her time at home by herself and with her parents. But in this moment she was brought back to memories of the mean older boys who had lived next door and would pull pranks on her throughout their summer vacations. Once, while she'd been sitting under her favorite tree reading a book, one of the boys threw a water balloon filled with some kind of potion or substance or something in it. Whatever it had been, the stench was terrible and she couldn't get the smell out of her hair for a week. She wanted more than anything to scream at those boys, to hold her wand up and turn them into flies or make their noses stream boogers endlessly.

And here she was. A new place, but the same kind of story. As much as she knew that speaking up for herself was the thing that might be able to save her, she just couldn't will the words to come. So she watched in horror as a group of older students proceeded to take her things out of her reach. It was only with the light, but firm touch of Cassie that her feet suddenly felt like they could move again as she was led to a chair in the middle of the room. She didn't struggle. Her mouth stayed shut. Her tiny frame, cloaked in so many robes, was trembling with nerves that felt like they could, at any moment, overtake her.

For a moment, she thought she would try and respond, but as she opened her mouth to speak she could feel the lump of tears welling in her throat. The last thing that she wanted to do in this moment was cry. She was already so vulnerable, and Cassie didn't need anymore ammunition. Elspeth took a small breath and said in a voice that was practically a whisper, "Please give me my books back. I just - I was just trying to get back to my dorm."

Carolyn felt like dancing today. She had some free time and she was always in the mood for ballet. I have seen plenty of library books for today, she reassured herself again. Originally, she planned to go to the ballroom as she usually did but today she was unlucky. There was already plenty of students there and so for the first time, she decided to try the Rehearsal room. It was much smaller but if she didn’t go for some elaborate variation, she would be just fine. She didn’t have much stuff with her. The black leotard dress she chosen for practice and her stockings were already hiding underneath her robe so really, the only thing she was carrying in her over shoulder bag were her old pointe shoes.

As she was slowly approaching her final destination, Carolyn overheard a sweet piano melody coming from the room. Wow, that sounds beautiful. Generally speaking, the young ballerina preferred to practice alone but she definitely missed the music from time to time. Maybe she could ask whoever was playing if they were willing to accompany her dance. Or she could simply dance to whatever they were playing at the moment. “Well, I guess it won’t hurt to try,” the young witch muttered under her breath.

And so with a light step she finally approached the door leading to the Rehearsal room. First her eyes automatically followed the mysterious pianist. It was a young girl about her age and her hair was almost the same length as her own, just a few tones lighter. It was quite obvious, she knew what she was doing. Carolyn’s appreciation of the art didn’t last long however. To her utter disappointment, the already quite small space had a lot of occupants already. Her initial reaction was to sigh and leave but then she heard a creak of a chair which made her survey the room in more detail. She assumed everybody was here to practice but this group definitely didn’t look like it. It took her another glance and few steps forward to finally understand what was going on. Elspeth? Now Carolyn was very calm and patient girl and she generally preferred to avoid any unnecessary conflicts but she wasn’t scared to join one if it concerned her in any way…which this one unfortunately did. She took a deep breath and allowed herself to approach the group. “Hey, stop it!” She called to the girl who was now getting dangerously close to her classmate’s personal space. “If you so desperately need to educate yourselves, I can point you to the library. I have a feeling you never came across one of those.” Now she was addressing all involved. She didn’t like bullies and these were stealing books from a fellow Ravenclaw. How could anybody enjoy such childish behavior was beyond her. “Are you okay, Elspeth?”

Ever since the disaster of the Blossom Ball, Ivy had been filling all of her time with random activities and studying in order to avoid thinking about it. So much had been ruined because of that one event - so many people had gotten hurt. Ivy hadn't realised how many people she had considered friends until that night. Ana had almost died, and Zyk... Zyk hated her now, didn't he? Their confrontation at the Great Lake had left Ivy in tears, and she wished that she could turn back time and just fix everything. If only she had a Time-Turner on her...

It was rather unsettling to the young girl when she had any spare time nowadays. It seemed that Ivy had run out of things to do. She had completed all of her homework for the week, and there were no fun activities going on at the moment. There was also no point in trying to join in on one of the many groups huddled in the library, because all they wanted to talk about was the Ball and that defeated the whole purpose of seeking them out, didn't it? Ivy disliked loud gatherings anyway, because she always got funny looks from people who mistook her for Ana. Even though their identicality wasn't caused by a curse, it certainly felt like one somedays.

After class, Ivy had resolved to go and check out the rehearsal room. Not a lot of people actually went there, favouring the ballroom... in all honesty, Ivy didn't really like the ballroom. As a ballerina, she preferred the sprung floors of the large stage that was clearly made for performers, and the ballroom... just didn't have that, despite its name saying otherwise. Yes, the stage, although quite large, was small compared to the Ballroom, but no performer had to take up that much space. Ivy hadn't come to dance, though. She had come to play the piano. She was holding a navy blue booklet, which was full of classical repertoires like Liszt, Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Chopin, and was walking quite quickly, eager to get there and begin playing. Ivy was naturally good at piano, but if she didn't practice, then what good was talent?

But as she pushed the door open, she would discover, with a scowl, that the room was not empty. Even worse, someone else was at the piano already, and group of students, likely first years like her, were already standing on the stage. Her footsteps were light and quick as she neared the stage, and her scowl softened when she took notice of the girl at the piano. "Holly," she said quietly. Lindsey Springhall, or 'Holly', as Ivy knew her, was the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC, and a rather lovely, but flighty, girl.

She observed the other girls for a moment. There was Cassandra Ironwoods, another Ami, surrounded by her group of friends. Although Ivy's first meeting with Cassie had been rather awkward, being in the Amis had brought them closer. What were they doing? Ivy watched in amusement as Cassie teased a Ravenclaw student, snatching her books and pushing her into the midst of their circle. She knew the Slytherin well enough by now to know that they meant nothing by it, but the other girl apparently didn't - by the sounds of it, she was close to tears. Ivy would watch a little longer from the shadows, wondering if the Ravenclaw was truly that pathetic and touchy to start crying in public - she wouldn't intervene unless it was getting too over the top.

Luckily (or unluckily, depending on who you were in this situation), another Ravenclaw pushed her way through, dressed in a black leotard and tights. Ivy arched an eyebrow at the sight of another ballerina, before scowling as she listened to her next words. If you so desperately need to educate yourselves, I can point you to the library. I have a feeling you never came across one of those. How rude. Who the crap did she think she was? Some kind of queen? It wasn't just that it was her friends that the Ravenclaw girl was being rude to, it was also her attitude. Ivy could practically smell the snobbiness off of her. The Gryffindor would jump up onto the stage with the softest thud, eyes narrowed at the Ravenclaws. Forget friendship or alliances. Did the dark-haired girl not realise that she was indirectly insulting literally everyone who wasn't a Ravenclaw?

Although Ivy was internally annoyed, she was calm and collected on the exterior. She would send a half-smile to Holly, Cassie and the other Slytherins before proceeding to approach the ballerina, her voice colder than ice. "You moron," she told the Ravenclaw, deadpan. To be completely honest, Ivy wasn't sure why she was so offended by a pathetic schoolyard insult made by a girl she didn't even know, but now that she had started the fire, she couldn't just leave it alone. What could she say? Ivy had been bottling up her emotions for the past month or so - it was bound to come out one way or another, and this was the perfect opportunity to let all of her frustration out... while having fun at the same time.

"Your name is Elspeth, am I correct?" Ivy turned her attention to the other girl, twirling her hair around her finger. Her sharp grey eyes would flash wickedly, something strange sparking inside of her. It almost scared her, how much fun she was having right now, but she pushed it down and continued, tone cold and challenging, expression sceptical, disdainful and altogether judgemental. "You said you were trying to get back to your dormitory, but isn't the Ravenclaw common room in the West Tower? Why are you passing through here? Are you lost?" She would move forward quickly to pick up one the girl's books and casually flip through it. "Honestly, I would have thought that spending almost an entire year here at Hogwarts would have made you accustomed to the castle. I thought Ravenclaws were meant to be intelligent."

Elspeth couldn't tell if she was imagining things or if the chair she was sitting in was charmed to be signficantly more uncomfortable than any other seat she'd ever used in the castle. There was an urge within her to wriggle around and find a comfier position, but she didn't dare wriggle in front of Cassie. And, in any case, it's not like she was a comfortable situation. Any move she made would surely lead to more problems and all she really wanted to do was get her books and run back out of the hall.

The thing that got her to stay, though, was that Cassie knew her name. Even if Elspeth managed to get away, she was known and would certainly be spotted and bothered again at some point. What had she done to the Slytherin to make her want to do this? Her mind couldn't hold down on a thought for very long, each memory slipping away through her fingers until all she really had was a slight headache from focusing too hard on images that wouldn't stay put in her mind. Although she'd seen Cassandra around the school in passing, she'd never met her before. As far as she knew she'd never wronged anyone at Hogwarts, having spent the better part of her first year working as hard as she could to stay invisible. There wasn't any reason someone would want to hurt her that she could think of -

But her thought was cut off by a voice she recognized, cutting through the anxious fog. It was Carolyn. Elspeth could see her walking past the piano, looking concerned. All at once, her stomach dropped and soared. She couldn't tell if she was more excited or mortified to see her friend here trying to protect her. On the one hand, it meant a lot to know that Carolyn would stick her neck out to protect her. On the other hand, now someone she knew would remember this too. It couldn't just be her own secret little shame that she was a weenie mc shrimp face. Elspeth went to open her mouth and respond, but couldn't decide on what to say fast enough and just made a sort of gutteral sound, "Bah-"

Her jaw snapped shut when she realized that trying to talk would only make her a more prime target of ridicule. Besides, Carolyn could tell how well she was doing by looking at her. Not too hot right now. She'd been on edge ever since the Blossom Ball. And she could tell this situation was rapidly spiralling out of any sense of control. For a moment she thought that, maybe, she could push herself up out of the chair and get out of the room. The books she needed were all available to check out from the library, it's not like she needed her own copies. Try as she might, though, her panicked body wasn't going to have it.

And then, Oh jesus, what now... ANOTHER student showed up to the fray. This one apparently upset with Carolyn for reasons beyond Elspeth's understanding. Were all of the kids at this school trying to be mafioso greasers? She'd never met so many dysfunctional and unhappy other children in her life. For a moment, the frustration with the situation was almost enough to bring her out of her near-panic attack, before she looked at the new entrant to the arena closer. Elspeth had seen her before... Her eyes got wide and her breath stopped. It was the girl who had been on fire. The one who was screaming at the ball. The scream was in here ears now, echoing around until she couldn't really hear much else of what was being said. But she could smell it, because she was there again, floating over the pitch behind Serena while the smoke from this girl's body floated up to her, carrying the burnt smell of human flesh with it.

Elspeth stood up, completely panicked and terrified, knocking the seat over in the process. She began backing away, her eyes trained on the girl. She came from a witch, she knew that potions and magic could cure things. It wasn't that she thought the girl had risen from the dead. It was like she'd touched a portkey, her whole body sucked back to those moments of terror for her own life. Like she'd stuck her head under the water of a pensieve. Before, she'd at least had a small part of her mind in control. She'd known she was starting to have a panic attack. She'd known that she couldn't get out of the seat. But now, it was all instinct. Her rational brain had switched off, and her lizard survival brain had switched on.

"No. No no no no. No. Carolyn she's on fire. We have to get out. We have to get out!" She was shaking as she spoke, the tears fully coming to her eyes now. Where reality and the memory ended was impossible for her to gauge. All she knew was that she didn't want to die like that.

Once Cassie, Elspeth and their fellow Slytherins return to their seat, Cassie look at the sad looking Ravens. The girl open her mouth that look like want to speak. Want to defend herself but could not. The tears well up in her eyes. "Aww.. do you want to cry, little bean?"Cassie teased the poor girl some more.

When Elspeth whispered out to ask Cassie to give her book back and she just trying to get back to her dorm, Cassie took pity on her. Cassie about ordered to the girl wavy red head hair and brown eyes - their fellow Slytherin - to give Elspeth's books back but someone decided to be a hero. The next girl enter the room, with booming voice.

Telling Cassie to stopped harassing their fellow Raven. "If you so desperately need to educate yourselves, I can point you to the library. I have a feeling you never came across one of those."The girl rudely said. Cassie look up and shifting their gaze from Elspeth to the wannabe hero. "And who you are you?"Cassie stands up and stare down the other Ravenclaw girl.

Their tone dripping with coldness and venom. "I know where the library is at, thank you very much and I do not need to answer to you"The Slytherin let out a dry condescending chuckle. Their pursuivant scoffed at the girl rude behavior. Then another voice boomed. Filled up the room with so much anger.

What now, Cassie groan internally. Cassie smirk when it was Ivy. The hot tempered girl words cutting to the other Ravenclaw girl. Albeit their first encounter with Ivy a bit unpleasant, thanks to the club where Ivy and Cassie are the member of the said group, the Gryffindor and the Slytherin grew closer.

Then it was Elspeth who got chewed out with Ivy ice cold and dripping with venom words. Cassie feels like want to let out a loud laugh, but it is not an appropriate time to do so. Ivy saying about spending time around the castle and blandly insult Ravenclaw trait which is their intelligent. Cassie walk up to the Gryffindor girl and cross their hands, they want to see how the comebacks from the other two Ravenclaws.

Then the sad bean which is Elspeth start freaking out. Saying about Ivy being on fire and both of Elspeth and the other Ravenclaw - that now Cassie know as Carolyn - need to get out from the room. Cassie heard that a lot happened at the ball. Once of them was Anastasia Beckett being on fire. Ana who is so identical to Ivy.

A lot of people always thinking both of the Gryffindor girls are the same people.
Cassie also did that the first time they met Ana and Ivy on separate moment around the castle. "Are you high or something, Elspeth?"Cassie know that the girl standing beside her is Ivy, not Ana.

"If so, should I tell one of the professors?"Cassie ask the blue and silver clad girl that still panicking.
