| ..... | ───〃★ The joy of achieving something for the first time was lost somewhere in his pursuit of perfection. The Slythrin was so used to doing everything right, he forgot the joy of getting something right for the first time. And now with the broom in his hand, he smiled. He could do this. I could do this. The compliment from Damien motivated him more than he would admit. He looked at the demonstration the older boy was showing, nodding. It did look pretty simple. The Slytherin mounted his broom, nervously, and he smacked his foot on the ground; the broom started levitating. A bit wombly. It was unusual for Arin to get used to it. His balance was off, too. The broom leaned slightly to the right. "W-what is happening?" The boy panicked, broom getting more wobbly. Arin was already meters high. And if he falls from here, it would end him in the hospital wing. The speed wasn't that much, but the way he was leaning sideways, it made him panic a lot. He tried to look at Damien and not at the ground. "Is there a way to get down?!" The boy asked, trying to calm himself down. Muttering to himself, cursing his luck, "C'est pas vrai !" No way ! |

Damien smiled brightly as he watched Arin look like he had pure joy on his face for the first time in a long time. He did however notice now his balance was off which was causing his broom to slightly lean. Damien quickly flew up beside him to hold onto him. “Whoa! Okay steady yourself, it’s your balance. Whenever your balance is off it’ll cause you’re broom to be off. The broom is like a part of you so it should move with you!” Damien truly hoped that helped him as he honestly didn’t think he was too good at teaching anyone about flying but so far has been so good so he hopped it would stay like that. “I mean yeah there is many ways to get down just depends which way you want to get down! But uh..just take a deep breath and calm down and then try steering your broom towards the ground and try to gently land it!” After saying that his mind immediately flashed with an image of Arin attempting what he said to do but not calmly at all and roughly crashing into the dirt. He winced at the thought before he tried to reassuring himself. It’s fine, that won’t happen he got this…right ? |
