I sent an owl to Solomon Lear and Jessamine Lancaster for Staff Application but it didn't get sent. It isn't in my Flying folder either. What happened?

Check your sent folder. It may have been viewed. Another thing to do is owl them again once applications close to say you have not received a receipt for your staff application.George Calder wrote: 30 May 2026, 15:20 I sent an owl to Solomon Lear and Jessamine Lancaster for Staff Application but it didn't get sent. Applications are closed so unless he sent it before I donβt think he can send again a new app.

We have no record of receiving an application from George Calder.
If you are able to provide evidence that an application was both completed and submitted before the deadline such as a screenshot showing the application in a sent folder, confirmation of submission, or similar documentation we would be happy to review it and consider adding it alongside the current applications.
However, without evidence that an application was successfully submitted, we are unable to make exceptions. Applications are now closed, and deadlines must be applied consistently to all applicants. Otherwise, there would be no objective way to distinguish between a technical issue and a missed submission, and anyone could claim their application was lost after the deadline had passed.
If you genuinely completed and submitted an application that never reached us, then this should be reported as a bug. To my knowledge, we have not encountered this issue before. If there is evidence of a submission failure, we would like to investigate it further, as a system error of that nature would be a more significant concern than this individual application.
At present, though, we have no record of receiving the application and no evidence that it was successfully submitted before the deadline.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.
