Beach Club

During the warm days, Enseada Azul was the place to be. The remote location was tentatively open to the magical public who managed to find their way through the jungle or arrive via the cable car system, but a carefully selected stretch of the white beach had quickly been claimed by Castelobruxo for its own Beach Club following overwhelming demand from its student body. Large, luxurious sunbeds and striped parasols bearing the school's signature colours of green, with golden seams decorating the edges, were unmistakably theirs. Positioned only a few steps from the seasonal bar and reception, they offered students a comfortable place to spend a warm, sunny day. Any Castelobruxo student was welcome to claim one of the beds for sunbathing, regardless of the season. Those wishing to enjoy the full Beach Club experience could also borrow matching robes and slippers from the reception during the season, which ran from September through May. Opening hours adhered to the rise and fall of the sun. Of course, nothing stopped anyone from swimming during the winter break. They would simply find the location far quieter and largely deserted, save for the occasional explorer venturing into the caves in search of the alleged merpeople said to reside within. So far, however, no sightings have been officially documented in recent times. At least, not by anyone who had returned to tell the tale. The existence and nature of these merpeople remained speculative to the wider public. Students with money to spare had the option of purchasing their own private robe, with their initials embroidered in gold over the breast panel, though it was not mandatory to enjoy the beach or Beach Club area. Between two palm trees closer to the edge of the rainforest stood a pair of open-air shower stalls made out of hardwood with freshwater plumbing that drained safely out in the ocean. The bar itself was magically sourced and offered non-alcoholic variations of all the classic cocktails, coconut water straight from the shell, as well as stronger options if you were of age. Snacks ranged from fresh, chilled tropical fruit mixes and açaí bowls, which were often served blended into drinkable form, though also available as chilled yoghurt-style dishes, to lighter seafood meals. Despite its hidden location, the beach was fully equipped to a high standard and capable of hosting smaller events, making it ideal for a glorious day by the beach. OOC INFORMATION────────────────────────────────────── This is an open, unmoderated RP thread for Castelobruxo students, alumni, and people in South America who have been invited to visit via the cable car system. If you want to include moderated actions, such as spells, tag me and I’ll make a moderation post. As this thread has no fixed date, please include a date in your post so others know whether their characters would be present to interact. Feel free to create your own private threads for roleplaying in Enseada Azul, but this is the official Beach Club thread for those who don't know where to get started. This is an IC area, so all posts here must be at least 200 words, follow RP rules, Castelobruxo forum rules, and lore. |
