Annnd another of their team fell, this time their seeker. “Goddamn it!”

Mamori came very close to umm-actuallying @Camilla Carter: the official record would show that he was here under duress, not longing — but some more functional part of his brain caught up fast enough, realizing that taking the bait meant letting her steer the conversation. He did not want that to happen. He was already serving laps; being led by the nose on top of that would be double the suffering. "Tragically, yes," Mamori called back to the notably four-fingered Camilla with a fake wounded look. "The referee witnessed my suffering from your absence and prescribed this as treatment." Then immediately dropped the look, replacing it with something considerably more smug, "though if this is a race, don't expect to beat me." The pink-haired lap convict pushed his Moontrimmer to top speed 5 and edged ahead. A broom racing stat doing broom racing things, apparently Quidditch could offer that experience too if you asked nicely enough. Accuracy-wise, their daily Quidditch training had made it clear enough who won that category between them, but speed was less settled.

"Brave of you, racing ahead like this;" she called out to him, as she leaned into her broom and gave chase, urging her broom faster and faster. "You know blatching is legal in broom races, I hope"

Her team seemed to be resorting to fouls, Harumi didn't know how to feel about it, so she's just pretending not to see for now, since the Ravenclaws didn't seem to be playing very fair either.

----The girl saw Daphne and Fire falling, but only the latter was saved, Harumi closed her eyes hopelessly, well, if she can't save them, at least she'll bring flowers to the hospital wing.

Dammit, Hufflepuff was getting quite the lead while they were preoccupied. At the very least Winnie could breathe a sigh of relief as she was returned to her broom. Although she was thankful that Mikey caught her, it wasn't exactly easy to do her job as a Chaser while stuck on the back of someone else's broom.

In the role of Chaser when you attempt to catch a passed Quaffle (such as when the Keeper has possession of the Quaffle and passes it to a teammate) you have advantage (meaning that it is rolled twice and you keep the better option) on attempts to catch if the opponent team attempts to intercept.

In the role of Chaser, as a free action if the user of this broom is successful in the quafflegrab they can as a free action pass the Quaffle to another user in an attempt to score. There is a chance of the quaffle being intercepted, however due to the fact that the user is "so fast" with the quaffle this would be considered "surprising" and the attempt to score would be done at +3 accuracy by the player it was passed to in an attempt to score.

Note: The attempt to score would be an automatic attempt by the user that catches the passed quaffle.

In the role of Chaser, if you have a contested quaffle grab and a contested strength roll between yourself and another user is in progress, unless they have the same broom, you would be the victor of the contested quaffle grab. In addition, rounds where you are successfully carrying the quaffle in an attempt to score, you only take half-damage from bludgers and blatching attempts.

Landon cheered happily for Atlas as she scored more points for Hufflepuff. He was always proud of his team, win or lose, but she was doing a great job for their last game of the season. The whole team was doing very well, even though some had been knocked off their broom. Honestly, this was a match that Landon had been anticipating to be a difficult one, but they were doing very well so far. Landon knew that the match was only going to get more intense as time passed, but he was hopeful that Hufflepuff would do well.
