I think the Boy's Dormitories should be banned for girls and Girls Dormitories should be banned for boys, like when you open them, they say "Blimey! You seem to be lost, there's nothing to do here!"

I get what you mean but banning a whole gender feels kinda pointless tbh. It doesn’t really add anything and just overcomplicates it, and even in the books, girls are allowed to go to the boys' dormitories so it keeps it a bit realistic on HiO as well

Were they? I don't remember... but, well, each gender has their own privacy and "boy secrets / girl secrets"

We have people who are biologically one gender and they see themselves as another or they transition. Having permissions tied to something that players can change would be impossible for us to manage. We also have the non-gendered part of the dorm.

Hi! I wonder if we could standardize the use of a "Completed"/"Closed"/"Finished" tag in the Errands forum so that it would be easier for users (especially newly returned users or ones who don't regularly participate in errands) to tell at a glance if an errand is currently open for joining? I know it's more of a small, quality-of-life thing, but I would personally much appreciate it! (Of course, if there's a different place/way currently being used right now to display active errands that I missed, then that would be a different discussion of which method would be better.)

Errand threads are typically locked once completed and every errand specifies an end date in their first post. As soon as you click on it, you should be able to see whether you can still join!

Ah I totally forgot about that feature and definitely didn’t notice, whoops! That’s great then; I’ll know to look out for that from now on. I know they have end dates posted but figured it’s easier to have a way to scan quickly from the forum page instead of having to click into each one individually to find the dates. I also saw that there were a couple errands that had used tagging so thought it wouldn’t be too difficult to implement more regularly (and imo stands out more)! But either way I appreciate the reply, thanks! <3

That's a fair point too! I'll go through and at least lock the threads that are completed - I hope that fulfils what you're looking for!
