Status: Muggleborn
Residence: Aspen, Colorado, United States
Nationality: American
History: Percy Todd was born on a sunny day, September 12th, 2013, with his twin brother, Corbin, to a lovely, mellow pair of Muggles. Their mother and father, Evie and and Charlie, respectively, were very loving, raising the two brothers to be fond of each other and caring for the world around them. When Percy and Corbin were three, their parent's announced they'd be having a little girl. Life was lovely as could be in Aspen, Colorado, the family of four anticipating the new joy in a short few months. Until the day their sister was born, and their mother died during childbirth. She left the three Duplenticy boys alone in the world, with nothing but the new baby, Addison.
Life after that was rough to get used to. The boys were able to cope with the trouble well enough, their father enrolling then in baseball and choir and various activities to keep them busy. Charlie took time getting used to the new family life. It was his turn to learn how to govern the family, most of which had been done by Evie. It wasn't long before the new normal kicked in. They visited their maternal grandparents often, seeing as their paternal grandparents were no longer living. Percy Todd and all of his family and siblings got along. The twins were absolutely inseparable. They weren't quite alike, of course they had their differences. But their differences were what led them to grow so close together. The two showered their little sister with adoration, stringing her along to every adventure they went on, watching all of her ballet recitals in awe and wonder. Charlie encouraged the children to occupy themselves with whatever they wanted. The Duplenticy family was not rich, but they were not poor either. They lived comfortably, having what they needed when they need it, with no worry to scramble around.
When Percy Todd received his letter to Ilvermorny, accompanied by a professor, Charlie had thought it was a prank "Magic? Wands? Private Academy? Where's the copyright stamp- barcode? Does the paper stain your fingers green when you touch it?" Percy simply asked- "Where's Corbin's?" He felt sad that his twin brother wouldn't be experiencing the same thing as him. But Corbin simply beamed, amazed at his brother's hidden talent. Charlie was in awe. Had Evie known about magic? Was it to blame for her death? It took him some coaxing from the Ilvermorny teacher, but he eventually came to terms with the news, with no idea how he would be able to keep his mouth shut.
First Magic: Percy Todd was five years old when his first instance of magic occurred. It was his first Little League Baseball practice. His father had thrown the ball for him once or twice previously, but he hadn't been much good at catching. His twin Corbin held the ball in his glove, winding up to throw it at his brother. Percy Todd was determined to catch it. He glanced at his father standing just outside the fence, cheering him on. He needed to catch this baseball, no matter what it took. As his brother went to swing the ball, he threw it side ways, 90 degrees in the wrong direction of Percy. Rather than bouncing and rolling away, it was as if the ball were made of rubber, and it bounced back up and swung right back around, all the way into Percy Todd's glove. "The wind! The wind! It's gotta be the wind!" The two little boys had said. The MPH of wind on that day had been less than 1.

Name: Ethan Lee
PC Name: Lily Clarke
Year: First Year
Link to your Character Page: Boop!
Status: Pure Blood
Residence: New York City, United States of America
Nationality: Korean
History:
Ethan was born on August 5, 2013. His mother, Elara Quinn, was from London, England. After she got a job as a Healer, she traveled to Korea, where she met his father. His father, Lee-Jiho, fell in love with her when they bumped into each other in a park. Since they both liked each other and their families had approved, they got married.
Ethan was originally born in Korea, but when he was 5 years old, his family had to move due to his parents' transfer. Adjusting to a new environment was a bit difficult for him, but he soon made many friends. They mostly liked his outgoing personality and friendly nature, and he soon won many hearts.
Although his family did spend time with him, his parents were mostly out working. Therefore, his grandparents usually took care of him. This is how he became very close to his grandparents, especially his grandmother, who would entertain him with her Transfiguration skills and always made him laugh. His grandfather would often take him to the roof of his manor at night to stargaze, where they would lie down and his grandfather would tell him stories from when he was a kid.
First Magic:
One day, his older cousin had been irritating him a lot, and wasn't allowing him to play with his action figures, so he screamed loudly and his action figures floated down from his cousin's hands because of which his cousin was scared. He was only 6 years old then, therefore he didn't understand what had happened, but he learnt about it when he got older.

Name: Caspian Whitlock
PC Account Name: Madeline Tomlinson
Year: 1st
Link to your Character Page: Boop
Status: PureBlood
Residence: NYC; United States of America
Nationality: British
History: He was born into a house where silence meant status and conversation was a kind of negotiation.
His parents cared enough to make sure he had everything he needed to be perfect.
The Whitlock name was not just wealth, it was architecture. It was carefully crafted from the old generations of purebloods and since he was born he was put into high expectations.
He was given home schooling, etiquettes classes, ballroom dancing, posture classes, violin and piano classes and many more at a very early age.
He was expected to always have a perfect and charming posture and he has not let his family name down. He is the example of a proud pureblood.
He smiles easily, because in his world, control is survival, and charm is armor. And so far, it has never cracked where anyone could see.
He has made sure to not let anyone be near him during his time of feeling…..normal. He doesn’t lets anyone know if he is upset. Infront of all he is a poised, charming personality with no fear whatsoever except for not being in control of a particular situation.
He has always known how to handle every situation being at command without raising any alarms or concern for him from others. He cannot imagine people asking him if he was okay. That would mean he is showing signs of distress.
His family didn’t raise him for other people’s pity or concerns.
First Magic: His first Instance of Magic came as a statement of his authority.
His family had been holding a pureblood meeting. Like the adults of the prestigious families were present when someone made a comment about the Whitlock heir.
About his future, betrothed, school etc and he had had enough of the conversations about him.
He got pretty pissed and angry at them, at a young age it seemed his anger was dangerous since suddenly all the glass in the room shattered while the glass he was holding was perfectly fine.
He was shocked but before anyone could react his parents dragged him out of the room and congratulated him on his first instance of Magic. They couldn't be prouder. He was 9 at this time. They moved to America when he was eight!

Caspian Whitlock became a werewolf because, for one reckless moment, he chose someone else over himself.
It happened during his first winter in America. Which was not so long ago, just 2 years ago, when he was 9.
His family had relocated temporarily for business and legacy reasons, insisting Ilvermorny would “broaden his horizons,” though Caspian suspected it was simply another strategic move in a long line of carefully arranged decisions.
One evening there was a pureblood families dinner in America. Caspian had managed to get away for a while into the woods.
Then the screaming started.
Some of the little kid had wandered off deeper into the forest. He ran after the cries which he later would insist was purely because someone needed to act and the adults were away. But, this wasn’t the reason. Caspian, no matter how heartless he may seem, cannot bear to see anyone in danger and him just standing there, doing nothing.
He followed the cries deep into the forest, through heavy snow and twisted branches, until he found the child cornered against a fallen tree.
And in front of her stood a werewolf.
The younger child panicked.
The werewolf lunged.
And Caspian moved without thinking.
He stepped in front.
Not because he believed he could win.
Not because he thought himself heroic.
Because somewhere deep beneath years of etiquette lessons and polished manners, there was still a nine-year-old boy who could not watch someone smaller than him get hurt.
The bite landed on his shoulder.
It all happened in a frenzy and in a flash. If he looked back at that moment now he would never be able to understand why he did that. He would question his lack of thinking and jumping in the way of danger when another solution could be thought of. He would question his reasoning.
His parents helped him during everything with the use of dittany and silver.
Before much could happen the adults came over. He didn't remembered what happened later as his head hit the tree bark, he pushed the child away from harm and fell to a painful slumber.
Caspian never told anyone the full truth.
He claimed he slipped.
Claimed he was scratched by branches.
Claimed the blood was not his.
Of course his parents knew.
But he declined it in his mind,
Because he could not bear to know that maybe he might be one of the them now. One of the monsters he wanted to protect the other kid from. He couldn’t come to believe that he would be the monster he loathed. The monster everyone was afraid of. He couldn’t come in terms with the fact that maybe….he could be…..a …Monster.
Then the full moon came.
And his world ended.
The transformation was unbearable, but what haunted him most was not the pain. It was the memory of how easily he had acted. How naturally he had chosen sacrifice.
That was not who Caspian believed himself to be.
He had been raised to preserve the Whitlock name. To protect legacy. Reputation. Bloodline.
Not strangers.
Not children.
Certainly not at his own damage.
And yet... he had done it without hesitation.
Now, every month, he pays for that instinct.
He avoids attachments because caring makes him reckless. He avoids anger because rage feeds the wolf. He avoids pity because he would rather be feared than pitied.
But secretly?
He remembers that child.
He remembers the way they looked at him afterward, like he was something noble.
And he hates that part of himself almost as much as he treasures it.
Because the truth is simple:
Caspian Whitlock was turned by a monster.
But only because, for one impossible moment, he chose to be human.
His parents being the only one who knew of this situation told the staff of ilvermony about this furry problem so they could take care and lead the situation with understanding!

Castra "Penny" Penelope Anthler was born to Trisha Lowes and Mark Anthler on February 8th, 2015. Her parents never wed, but simply continued to date. They lived Venice, Italy until Castra was about 7, when her mother left Castra and her father all alone. Penny didn't have many happy memories of her and her mother, most of them being a littler Penny asking her mother to play dolls, or go for a walk. Her mother refused to bond with Penny in any way shape or form. It usually caused arguments between her parents that the young girl couldn't understand. (Her parents argued in English so Penny wouldn't have to hear any hurtful things said).
But Castra and her father managed. They moved to the United States of America, and lived a semi-calm life in San Francisco. On Saturdays they went to the movies, On Mondays, Castra's father helped her with her English homework (And her English, Castra had spent her entire life speaking Italian).
Penny learned quickly. Within a year, she'd already made lots of friends. She went to their houses for sleepovers, they came over to hers, and sometimes Penny would even stay at her friends' grandparents houses. She did phenomenally in school, always coming home with the top grades on her tests, and teachers praised her work. She helped new students, and would purposefully miss the bus home to stay and help the custodians. On her last day of public No-Maj school, her and her father went to their favorite Chinese restaurant. Castra's fortune cookie read "A pleasant surprise comes your way." Sometime later, in June, a man in a suit came to the Anthler's door. He explained that Castra was a witch and set for Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Two days after Castra's 9th birthday, she'd had a particularly rough day at school.
As she got off the bus in front of her and her father's house, she tripped and fell directly onto the asphalt drive. That was the last straw. Tears welled up in her eyes, and slowly began dripping down her face. Her left knee was scraped, and her hands were covered in small bits of gravel. Penny stood up, and grabbed her backpack. As she did so, her knee healed itself.

(i) State specific town/city in United States ( ensure both ency and application have this stated clearly instead of only stating it in history )
(ii) in your history you have an invalid birthdate, please edit to accurately align with your characters DOB
(iii) Discrepancy in where FIOM happened (Italy or America?)
(iv) FIOM should only be briefly mentioned in History, as it doesn't count to the 220 history w/c requirement (instead of a direct copy and paste from the FIOM section) . Remove that section and add other things to write about Castra growing up.
(v) Unclear FIOM . Not clear if the fiom happened behind the scenes, or if it influenced the mother
(vi) Abuse mentioned, being thrown at with a bowl should be removed.
(vii) Muggleborns should have someone arrive soon after her first fiom and explain to her father what happened. Theres no way for him(or her family) to know(or even understand) about magic except from that, as a muggle. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was eight because her father got a job as a wandmaker. Her and her entire family packed up and relocated to a different state. Grew up right down the street from her childhood best friend, Taylor. They went to the local elementary school together and rode bicycles through the neighborhood. A staple of her childhood was visiting her paternal grandmother witch, who lived in a large old house in Chicago as well. She is credited for giving Ivy her deep love of reading and passed down family books that inspired her imaginative goals. Moving to New Orleans introduced her romantic lore where she met her next door neighbor, Milo Humphry. They grew up together as childhood best friends, climbing trees, going to jackson square to look at paintings, and going to frenchmen street listening to jazz. Growing up in New Orleans developed her love for supernatural lore like vampires and werewolves. She once built a good sand castle when she was a kid, inspired by her mom as an engineer. She started playing the piano and learning ballet when she was younger. She used to dance for her toy animals and play a cheering audio in the background. Her parents adopted a Yorkshire terrier from a shelter.

Ivy spent half her childhood curled up in the massive, dusty library of her grandmother’s old Chicago home. When she was seven, she climbed up a heavy wooden rolling ladder to reach a high shelf containing an ancient, leather-bound book of fairy tales her grandmother had promised to pass down. As her fingers brushed the spine, a shadow flickered in the corner of the shelf.
Out crawled a massive, hairy wolf spider—Ivy's absolute worst nightmare.
Paralyzed with pure terror, Ivy gasped and lost her footing on the ladder. As she slipped through the air, her survival instinct and sheer desperation collided. She didn't hit the hardwood floor. Instead, a sudden, invisible cushion of pressurized air caught her, floating her gently downward like a falling leaf. Simultaneously, the heavy book she had been reaching for snapped open mid-air, its pages turning furiously. A localized, miniature gust of wind erupted from the book, blasting the spider safely out the open window across the room, leaving Ivy sitting on the floor, breathless, safe, and utterly enchanted.

Half her childhood, Ivy would be curled up on the enormous, dust-choked library floor of her grandmother’s aging Chicago house. At the age of seven, after climbing a very heavy wooden rolling ladder to retrieve a leather-bound ancient fairy tale book that her grandmother had vowed to bequeath her, the spine of which she was about to touch when something skittered at the corner of the shelf-something big and hairy, a wolf spider, her most mortal terror. Ivy stood frozen, eyes wide, gape open, a silent shriek catching in her throat as she overbalanced on the ladder and tumbled.
It wasn’t fear, or survival instinct-or some mad flight of pure desire, but it sent her floating down through the air, cushion of pumped-up air buoying her.
As she fell the leather book somehow opened, pages fanning rapidly and a tiny wind, seemingly emanating from within its pages, blew the spider out through the open window and Ivy landed on the floor, with a sigh, perfectly safe and utterly bewitched.

Isabella Lopaz was born on the 9th of September, 2015, in Cancún, Mexico, into a wizarding family that had lived in Mexico for several generations. Her family was not particularly famous or powerful, and they had no important position in the wizarding world. They were simply a family who had their own traditions, stories, and way of doing things.
Bella grew up in a home where magic was treated as a normal part of life. Her parents taught her the basics as she got older, though they were careful not to let her become careless with it. Most of her childhood was spent around her family and the people in their local community. She grew up hearing both Spanish and English and became familiar with the different magical traditions her family had passed down over the years.
Being raised in Cancún meant the non-magical world was around her just as much as the magical one. Bella spent a lot of time near the coast, going to beaches with her family, visiting relatives, and exploring parts of the city. Some of her earliest memories are fairly ordinary ones: family meals, birthdays, holidays, getting dragged along when her parents had errands to run, and occasionally getting into trouble when she wandered somewhere she wasn't supposed to.

First Instance of Magic
Bella's first accidental magic happened when she was about six. She was playing near the beach with a few other children when she got upset after losing one of her favourite toys. Without thinking, she grabbed at it from a distance and somehow, it flew straight into her hands.
She just stared at it for a few seconds before running to tell her parents what happened.

Name: Mackenzie Maye
PC Name: Glen Boren
Year: first
Link to your Character Page: viewtopic.php?t=48217
Status: Muggleborn
Residence: Manhattan, New York
Nationality: American
History:
Born on May 20, 2014, in Manhattan, New York City, newly wedded couple, and now parents, Asher and Sophia Maye, welcome in their first born daughter, Mackenzie Maye, into their slowly growing family. Her parents are successful lawyers. Her mother, Sophia, works as a lawyer for Wills and Estates, while her father, Asher, works as a District Attorney. Her parents want Mackenzie to have a successful job, which she'll love, but her parents do want her to work in the law firm. However, that all shattered when she got her first instance of magic and discovered that she's a witch.
Mackenzie lived a normal life as a nomaj. She attended an elementary school and made friends but wasn't too keen on sports. She was more of an arts girl so writing, drama, art that sort of thing brought her joy. Mackenzie had a small friend group at her school, but when she found out she was a witch, she didn't tell them.
A week after Mackenzie had turned 11 years old, a representative from Ilvermorny came to her house after school and sat down with her and her parents and explained that Mackenzie is a witch and has been accepted into the wizarding school, Ilvermorny. Mackenzie and her parents were shocked when they found out, but they allowed Mackenzie to go to the school thinking it'd be a great experience for her.
First Magic:
It was a hot and sunny day, and 8-year-old Mackenzie wanted to go outside, but she had to stay inside because it was too hot outside.
So Mackenzie decided to do arts and crafts instead. She went to her bedroom and she sat down on the chair in front of her desk. She began taking out her art supplies from her art supplies bin on her desk. She took out some paper, a pair of scissors, markers, and a pencil. She wanted to make a flower and cut it out so she could stick it on her wall for decoration. She drew a flower on the paper with her pencil, and she began coloring it in with her markers.
She had finished coloring the flower, so then she picked up the paper. But as she picked it up, she got a paper cut on her finger. So then she went to the kitchen to get a Band-Aid. But when she picked up the band-aid box, she looked at her finger and the cut was gone. She told her parents about it, and they were confused about how it happened. Then Mackenzie just went back to her bedroom and sat back down in the chair in front of her desk. She cut out her flower, and she took out some tape and taped the flower to her wall. Then Mackenzie put her art supplies back in her art supplies bin on her desk.
