Childhood
My name is Juniper Lewis Frost. I was born on a dark, cold winter night, as snow fell on the rooftops. It was December 28, 2013, in a Scottish town whose name I don't know. But I don't know any more than that; my mother doesn't like to talk about it. Shortly after my birth, my parents moved to London in search of a quieter life. I grew up there, in the Westminster area, near major tourist attractions like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. My parents were never very present; it was Fiona, my governess and tutor, who raised me. The only person I've ever been able to trust. I learned everything from her. Fiona guided my first steps, read me stories at night, and played with me. Over the years, I've developed a deep hatred for Muggles, fueled by my family's |
opinion. They rejected us years ago; the Frosts will never forgive them. The worst part is that they dare to bring wizards into the world. But what disgusts me most, of course, are those wizards who mix their blood with the foul blood of a Muggle. My parents long believed I was a Squib. For years, I lived in fear: the fear of not being a true wizard and of dishonoring my family. Fortunately, my first signs of magic appeared at the age of 8. At nine, I realized I was looking at boys. I mean, really looking at them. I thought about it for a while before admitting it to myself: I'm gay. No one knows, not even Fiona. I don't even want to think about what would happen if my parents found out. I've decided to keep it to myself to avoid trouble. |

The first signs of magic appeared when I was eight. My first magical manifestation was quite typical: in a fit of anger, after Fiona won at my favorite game, I levitated a glass of water, which then spilled on her.

I've always been told that I'm the spitting image of Father and that Mother lives on in my smile. My hair is light brown with subtle blond highlights. It contrasts with my dark eyes, full of questions and reproaches. I have thin lips, more often pursed than smiling, and my nose is slightly upturned, which gives me a childlike appearance. I'm rather thin, I don't eat much, and despite my rough appearance, I've retained my childlike features. As a child, I was a ball of energy, but I was quickly brought back down to earth to live up to the Frost family's expectations. Now, I know how to honor my heritage. They all made so many sacrifices for me, and now it's my turn to thank them. I'm a calm and composed boy, but I can easily become aggressive, like a lion baring its teeth. I have a knack for intelligence and quick thinking; I know how to turn situations to my advantage. I choose my allies carefully and don't trust just anyone. Even though I'm not particularly handsome, I would do anything for my friends and would never be disloyal to them. I was born in Scotland, in a town whose name I don't know.
