Draven's stomach was in knots. Pyxis was down. His latest spell had knocked Sio out as well, which was a relief. From six casters to four in one round was a bit frightening. Rolling his shoulders back, cast a look to his remaining partner. They were both somewhat unscathed, though he supposed that was about to change.

Things were suddenly exploding all over the place after such a relatively calm round. When Mahlioz realized what had happened, she let out a distressed "Noooo" in Hellebore's direction. Poor guy, despite all their healing efforts the Gryffindors had managed to finally get him. Not all was lost, though - Siobhan on their side had also been knocked out by Draven, which was good news for them. Now they just had to make sure no more Slytherins followed in Hellebore's footsteps.

Siobhan had been holding out for a long time with all those jets of spells coming towards her. The rest of the team had to create a balance quickly; that might be a reason behind the double Flipendos.
Sere saw her target success to heal himself just before he fell, almost at the same time as Siobhan. Sere let out a long sigh, feeling the heavy weight that always came when she had to knock someone out. But at least, I managed to grant your wish to take you down first, she thought.WC : 100/50

Day 2 morning slot
It seemed like both teams were on equal footing at the moment as both Sere and Vladislav managed to get their healing spells off, making the previously decently hurt Gryffindor look seemingly more steady on his feet.
Slytherin didn't seem to take any time for rest however, as both of them casts highly offensive spells at their opponents. Some very familiar crackers flying out of Dravens wand, however both Sere and Vladislav seemed to easy have been able to dodge the explosions, even while focusing on their own healing. Luckily Draven had also managed to avoid any bad effects from his own spell, the crackers not going off anywhere near him.
Mahlioz also didnt' seem to have much luck with her own spell, it was cast well but maybe their aim was slightly off or Vladislav had seen the gust of wind coming but a spell that had previously knocked him off balance had now just sailed past him.
It was turning out to be quite the close call, what once might have been seen as an easy win was now truly unpredictable.

It was a round of healing it seemed, back and forth and Vlad had personally thought he was doing well, even if his healing spell of choice didn’t exactly make him feel as rejuvenating as he would’ve wished, the spell from his ally did instead.

Sere could feel the burning sensation inside her head for the first time in a while. She was using it too hard. Siobhan's fall seemed to have a significant impact on her current action selection. The lioness cast Reparifors at Vladislav; and when she succeeded, her partner's condition seemed to get better. A pleasant sense of relief reached her heart as she returned Vladislav's smile.

Draven watched as his spell flew wide, whizzing uselessly beside Vlad. Fantastic. Round 8, and they were still nowhere near done. Pressing his lips in a tight line, Draven chewed on the inside of his cheek. Gray eyes stopped on Vlad, who was busy beaming at his duel partner. Hopefully, the momentary lapse in attention would cost him.

Well, this was getting rather frustrating. Healing spell after healing spell, the Gryffindors were rejuvenating themselves, while both Mahlioz's and Draven's spells were aimed quite badly and missed. Ugh. She distantly hoped Hellebore was doing okay - they had to win this, for his sake. And to think she had been so okay with the possibility of losing at the beginning of this duel! How things changed now that they were close to success. At least no spells had backfired on them just yet. ...oh gods, they hoped they weren't jinxing it.

Day 2 morning slot
Both teams appeared to be on the same page as the remaining members on each side cast the same spell as their ally, some more successful than others.
It was quite the sight to see as several strong gusts of wind raced across the piste, it seemed like there was strength in numbers as it became obvious that neither of the Gryffindors could manage to evade all of them, both being knocked of balance, something that was not a good sign at the end of a game.
The Slytherins didn't get out unscathed either though, as Vladislav managed to cast a Flipendo, knocking right into the centre of Mahlioz's chest. Luckily it seemed like she hadn't been completely knocked down but it had looked like a very painful hit. Even so with Draven having managed to dodge Sere's Flipendo it looked as though Slytherin was in a better position at the moment, although this could all quite easily change with the last few spells that would be cast.

They decided to do something different tis time around. They weren't going to try to heal him. No, that would be depositing more hope into a lost soul like Vlad who only really wanted to honor Koldovstoretz and ensure that he remained a great victor, a great player when it was already hard in this fight. He was aimed at, but like he was aimed at he aimed as well.
