2025/26 Spectator Day 2

After a day full of excitement, disappointment and happiness the duelling club had been repaired and cleaned up. As much as the duellists themselves had attempted to dodge some hard hitting spells as to avoid a trip to the hospital wing, the room itself hadn't had that ability, leaving some of the pistes worse for wear.

Luckily this was something easily fixable and as spectators filtered through the doors on their way to watch their favourite duellists sling spells at each other and dodge the ones aimed back at them, they wouldn't have had any idea anything had happened the previous day if it wasn't common knowledge. This wouldn't last for long however as the new matches were scheduled to begin soon.

Duellists would find themselves with some time before their matches to discuss any strategies, do pre-match rituals or scope out the opposing team. Another chance to bring glory to their house and show the others why they were the best, or to surprise them by subverting their expectations. Things could always go wrong, no matter how much they had practised and a duel could never be decided before it had been finished, keeping a sense of excitement and suspension going throughout the duel until the moderator called out the winners.
