Students from the other wizarding schools had arrived a few days ago, and the castle was absolutely bustling with life. With so many new faces around, it was almost impossible to focus enough to do anything productive. All over he heard conversations in languages he couldn’t understand, and laughter from jokes he was not a part of. He couldn’t be everywhere, he knew that. Things would be relayed to him second hand, and there was little he could do but accept it.

That did not mean he enjoyed missing stuff. So when entering the small hall and seeing a crowd loosely gathered, he could not stop himself from getting closer out of pure curiosity. People were truly crowding together. He stood on his tippy toes trying to look over a pair of shoulders of the two that stood right in front of him. Curse his height. He was not that short, but right now he felt tiny.

He had enough sense to recognize the two guys were not Hogwarts students, so when he spoke up he spoke loud and clearly. «Hey, could you move? I wanna see, and it isn’t really fair being that tall…» No reaction. Did they not hear him? He frowned, shifting his weight as he considered his options. He could always try again. But then it would take even more time before they moved and he was allowed to see. That would not do.

So he did the only thing he could. He sharpened his elbows and pushed in between them. «Oy, move!» It was not the polite thing to do, but at least it seemed to work. He broke his way through, before turning halfway to apologize. He continued his tone of loud and speaking clearly, as though he was speaking to an elderly person who were nearly deaf rather than boys close to his own age. «Sorry, you’re just so tall, and I wanted to see.» He gestured widely as he spoke, trying to mime the meaning of his words. Gestures were more of a universal than language, right?

Magnus was honestly hating his time as Hogwarts, the only good thing was that it gave him an excuse to hang out with Vasilius. He currently was wearing some black ripped jeans with his red combat boots as well as his dark mahogany jean jacket along with red sunglasses. Magnus kept the sunglasses on especially as he hadn’t been able to wear his usual contacts much as his eyes were getting puff from whatever allergic reaction being at Hogwarts was having on his body. He genuinely didn’t know what was happening but he did know that he hated it and wish he could be back at Durmstrang right now in the cold embrace of winter.

He quickly looked over at Vasilius before speaking to him. “I regret being out here…it’s hot can we go back to the cabin..or better yet Durmstrang I miss the cold” He let out a huff before moving closer to Vasilius. He was making this whole trip worth it. If Magnus could get closer to Vasilius and form a better connection then he has now with him then all of this was worth it, even if the sun was slowly tiring his body making him feel a bit dizzy he would suck it up.

Speaking of the sun Magnus thought about buying a large hat to keep himself cool would be a good investment when they go shopping. Suddenly a little boy pushed himself between Vasilius and Magnus his elbows going into their sides as the boy spoke in a rudely tone. Magnus suddenly saw red as how dare this boy push his elbow into Vasilius. Magnus grabbed the boy by his collar and lifted him up as he looked at him waiting from French to Russian. “What did you just say to me boy!”
