────────────────────────────────Siobhan would not be the one to jinx her teammates so she would not cheer for their minor success. All she would pray for is that they could remain in the running a little bit longer. Her only choice right now was to remain conscious wirh her teammates so that they could go ahead and make it through the duel. When all was said and done, she could go and take a nap in her dorm room with Toaster and a nice cup of coffee waiting for her when she awoke. But for now, Draven, Mahloiz, and Pyxis where standing in her way of that and she would very much like to play the game fairly to win.

Spells flew. Draven's head spun as flashes of light enveloped the teams, explosions raining rubble upon the participants. It was hard to track who'd hit whom. His own spell had backfired catastrophically, cracker jinxes blowing up in his face. Merlin. He was starting to think sticking to the simple spells might have been a better idea.

Date : February 15th, 2026 Color code : Written | Thought | Said Sere could see everything clearly now. The effects of the unknown spell cast by one of the Viper in the first round seemed to have completely dissipated. She could find Siobhan, understood why Vladislav cast Reparifors and did the same this round.
The opposing team's actions were truly no joke. She didn't know how many spells were flashing out of their wands. None were came her way (except those Cracker Jinx's splinters), but her teammates had to dodge a lot of spells. One thing Sere could be sure of now: everyone in that team had the ability to spread their spells, and this was not a good news.WC : 108/50

Mahlioz could almost cry out in despair. Come on, they had been doing so well at the start! Alright, that may have been just because the other team had done, uh, very little, but how come she couldn't aim at them properly now that they both weren't dodging and were having a hard time evading? Sighing, she got back into position, with a glance at her teammates to make sure they were doing okay. For now, at least.

Pyxis didn’t remember the last time he relied on the Knockback Jinx so heavily, but it was a foundational spell of this sport so he knew he could always fall back on it if he needed. The spell didn’t seem to agree with him here though as both of his shots missed. At least Draven and Mahlioz managed to do some damage as the Nebulus fog lifted.

Day 2 morning slot
Gryffindor seemed to have decided that Siobhan could take a few hits as all 3 of them aimed a Flipendo at Pyxis, 2 of them hitting. Something about Siobhans flipendo seemed different though and as it hit Pyxis right in the chest it immediately became clear that she had managed to cast is absolutely perfectly, the force of the spell managing to knock him down to the ground and alongside Sere's cast it seemed to have hurt him badly. Vladislav's spell however didn't seem to quite manage to hit it's target, which was a good thing for Slytherin as Mylo instinctively knew that if it had hit him they would've had to remove a duellist from the piste.
Siobhan's perfect casting hadn't protected her from Mahlioz's own spell though, as once again a handful of exploding crackers appeared at her feet, she had managed to dodge most of them but a few seemed to catch her off guard slightly likely disorientating her for a little while.
Vladislav wasn't as lucky either, as another gust of wind slammed into him after he recovered from the previous one. This one however was a lot stronger than the other one, properly knocking him off balance.
Both Draven and Mahlioz seemed to have managed to avoid being targeted, however if that would last for long they would have to wait and see.

How'd he feel it coming? He knew there was going to be an attack against him, but he wondered when it would happen. The bad thing was that he got hit.
And that his spell didn't hit. He was definitely a failure to his mother school Koldovstoretz if he couldn't rack up his duel wins and show Aulis or Yefin or Viktoria or Natasha. Sure, three of them were no longer part of Koldov, but that didn't mean that he didn't strive to make them proud in any case.
His eyes locked onto theirs as he tried to memorize his face because he had plans for revenge after this duel.

Siobhan knew that between herself, Sere, and Vladislav, they were giving everything that they had and it was still one of their more difficult duels. She could feel herself breaking a sweat and she felt the back of her neck starting to make her hair stick. It was driving her nuts. But there wasn't something to tie it up with nor was there any time to pay attention to the-
GOD this was bothering her, Siobhan ended up breaking somewhat of her concentration to pull her hair up off of her neck. Oh, so much better. But she did not have time to pay attention to her comfort before the other team took notice of her distracted favor.

He used to think he was quite sturdy, especially compared to people in his year group back when he was in first and second year. But being matched with upperclassmen made his lethargy much more apparent. The Knockback Jinx struck him in the chest and sent him tumbling backwards. At least he wasn’t down yet.

One Knockback Jinx emerged from the tip of her wand, aimed straight at Pyxis. Both of her teammates did the same. The unison made Sere feel a slight flashback. Last year was roughly the same. It was always a really good feeling to be able to build a bond with her peers in this group.
As Siobhan knocked the Viper down, Sere knew there might be a hope of winning. All they had to do was maintain this performance.WC : 80/50
