Physical Description:

Shaggy sand-blonde hair that reaches his neck, bright, cheerful pale blue eyes and a cheeky grin plastered on his pale face, he looks as though any average American schoolboy. He's skinny, but well-built, often wearing clothes that are a bit too large for him as not to emphasize his slim frame. Though he's not really conscious of his appearance, whenever in events, he still makes an effort to dress up nicely.

Personality:

He's playful, cheeky, and energetic. He seems as though a golden retriever has come to life. His energy never seems to fail him, always reaches the max everytime, even when he's asleep, he tends to have the most wildest of dreams to feed his cheerful persona. Though despite this, he still manages to answer hard trivial questions that people his age wouldn't, though logic and trivia is his only strength, as the rest he totally have problems with, especially arts, he still manages to be pretty well-rounded.

Backstory:

It all started with two pure-bloods set in dates—one was heartbroken and one was merely waiting for a miracle. A quick glance, some flowers, and a grin from Eros was enough to get Cielo swept off her feet. A plead and they went of living their lives in the U.S.

Cielo wasn't an illegal immigrant, but she was still one, reluctantly. A year into their marriage and Nestor was born; three years later Callia came next.

Their home life was stable—warm, happy, and full of love. Because Cielo was still adjusting to their life at the US, even after 11 years, she was still fussing about their westernly cultures and how different they were from her spaniard ancestry. Eros would just scoff as Cielo would commentate on how their neighbors' spent their mornings, how the children would ruckus across the streets, but never once had she greatly spited them, they were, after all, the ones that gave her the most amazing gift ever.

Nestor had always been the person Callia had looked up to. He was her role model, her mentor, her everything. Nestor had learned from an early age what an older brother had felt like, because their parents were often off working—their mother finding new jobs to apply to—they were often left with their aunt Louisiana to be taken care of. And let's just say, Louisiana isn't exactly the aunt who'd had the “motherly instinct”.

Louisiana would often be on meetings the rest of the time, occasionally pausing whenever the children needed food or something major, but mostly just brushed off their small needs. That was when Nestor usually took charge of. He would be the one comforting her when she cried, the one that would spend his time nursing a scrape she'd earned from playing, and the one who'd often keep her safe because Louisiana was too busy trying to keep her job to support their family.

Even though it was hard, Nestor never regretted taking care of Callia, in fact, he had loved it. Too much that he vowed to himself that he would do anything he could to keep her safe, even if it meant giving himself up, too.

First Instance of Magic:

It was like any other Tuesday morning: they were dropped off at aunt Louisiana's, Louisiana shut up in her bedroom and off to work, and the children playing in the living room. Nestor must've felt the responsibility of being an older brother gnawing on him, because for some reason, he had fallen asleep, and when he woke up, Callia was no longer in his grasp.

His hair still tousled and vision blurry, he sat up and looked around the room, a soft giggle caught Nestor's ears as he looked up to the table beside the sofa, where Callia was now standing on and trying to grasp the glass vase that contained pink lillies—her favorite flower.

Sensing danger, the 9-year-old immediately shot up, cupped his mouth to make sure Callia heard him even though they were less than five feet apart, and yelled, “No, Callia!”, still silently hoping that his voiced didn't make its way through the doors of his aunt's bedroom.

But as stubborn as Callia was, she hugged the vase, that was nearly toppling the side of the table, and managed to make the it fall sideways, Nestor's hand immediately flew to their direction in an attempt to save his little sister.

Callia, for some reason, had survived the fall in his hands without as much of a scratch, and so did Nestor, even though the carpet around them was sprawled with sharp, jagged pieces of glass. The commotion must've been heard by their aunt as she came running immediately and asked, “What happened?”, as her eyes darted from the broken table, the glass shards scattered across the floor, and Callia nestled between Nestor's arms, both miraculously unharmed.

Sighing with great relief, their aunt ushered them to sit as she hurried to get a first-aid kit even though both children were completely unharmed.

When their parents had found out about this, they were first angered by the fact that they thought their children were hurt, but after what their aunt told them, they too were exasperated by the fact that both of them had survived the situation without any scratches or bleeding. Since Nestor had already known of his parents' magical heritages, he was absolutely out of the moon when he repeated the story to them, possibly with a few exaggerations, but not that much.
