The perks of running a dictatorship were numerous, but assigning himself to quaffle duty alongside @Atlas Reid — the team's collective idol — ranked comfortably near the top. That Mamori had only managed to steal the quaffle once was an unfortunate statistic, though ultimately beside the point. The point was the Slytherin seeker abandoning snitch duty entirely to intercept the final quaffle, the very same seeker he'd failed to blatch at the opening. Mamori fixed the retreating figure charging toward the Hufflepuff goal with a withering stare, then clicked his tongue. Unforgivable. The hit list had a new number one.

Pam finished her penalty lap, a pleasant hope blossoming in her chest from how well the team was doing. Although she was growing increasingly sorry for the Slytherins who were getting knocked off their brooms like pokemon cards. That's a terrible comparison. Do better next time.

Well they were doing pretty well, so she figured she shouldn't need to worry. She also did not want to jinx it by thinking that.

Somehow though, Pam had managed to choose one hell of an aggressive sport.

The momentum kept going, and the team worked in tandem just as they'd practiced time and time again. Avery kept partial attention on the goals and the score rising in their favor, but she didn't dare let up now. Not when she had the game plan given in mind. "Keep it up, everyone!" It felt like there was a weight off her shoulders now that the had passed the captaincy on, and the game felt more akin to how it had when she'd first joined under Quinn Healy's tutelage. Now, there was more freedom to focus on just the bludger and whichever unlucky target she was directed towards next.

Angling herself to intercept a bludger once more, the crack of her bat signifies another well placed redirection back at some of the younger snakes. A two for one, this time. Taking a quick glance around, she noted how the sky over the pitch was primarily yellow and black now. She looked to the two remaining Slytherin players, the partial familiarity with one giving her brief pause before she shook herself from her thoughts once more. Just a little longer, they were nearly there.

The game was going well for Hufflepuff. So far so good. Gabriele was still on the bench though. He was itching to join them on the pitch, but for now he had to stick to booing Slytherins. He had done plenty of that the last minutes. Now he was cheering om some of his teammates. "Come on! Make another goal! Let's win this shit! Show the snakes who's boss!" He thought he was being surprisingly considerate today by not calling everyone bitches. For now. Gabi glanced across the pitch. Where was the snitch when you needed it?

Daphne couldn’t help but smirk at Aston, clearly impressed that the blocking had worked despite the question. Even if she didn’t find the snitch, Hufflepuff was still winning. “Yeah yeah, well look who’s in the lead!” She exclaimed rather proudly before focusing on steadying broom as she looked around briefly before continuing to fly.

Abilities: Alluring: A Part-Veela is incredibly beautiful, the magic creates an "entranced" effect, wherein those that would be an attraction where they lose sight of their surroundings and focus more than necessary on the Part-Veela's movements or appearance. Landon did his usual cheering for a teammate this round, but it appeared that he wasn't loud enough or that the teammate didn't hear him. Avery played on without any effect, or at least nothing that Landon could have noticed. Landon felt a little bad for the other team; they had lost so many players due to them being knocked off their broom, but he was proud of the Hufflepuffs. They were showing that Badgers weren't weak. Hufflepuff might be known as the friendly house, but they worked hard and they would put up a fight.

This was a real Quidditch massacre. Sage's team had left the Snakes with only 4 players left, and two of them were sitting on the bench anyway. Something on the Hufflepuff side had shifted since last year. Maybe they finally found their footing, or maybe it was the lack of ridiculously strong Slytherins they were playing. Either way, Sage swore under her breath when Violeta managed to stay on her broom. She'd been so close.

There was some truth in the idea that a best offense was the best defense. Atlas fully embraced the plan to mount her own aggressive attack. Having already found some success, Atlas knew that Slytherin couldn't block her. It did mean that she would have to continue successfully getting the quaffle away from the other team. Leaving her posts entirely without a guard always made Atlas uncomfortable but she leaned forward regardless and sped forward.

One after another Atlas snatched the quaffle and pulled in more points for the team. Her overzealousness did have her careen into the quaffle at a speed she couldn't fully control. While still scoring, Atlas recognized that she needed to relax or she would make more mistakes. Slytherin was able to steal ten points in the chaos but Atlas could feel that she was putting pressure on the other team. One for four wasn't a bad trade off and she was confident that she could continue to push through the other team.

Keepers Catch
10% chance to automatically block an attempt to score a goal as long as the Keeper is in the goal area. If an attempt to score has been blocked through this effect, the Keeper may as a free action hurl the quaffle at the opponent team in an attempt to injure a player of their choice (it would be recovered with a quaffle grab action) and treated like a bludger or pass the quaffle to a team mate. This must be declared by the Keeper if either of these free actions are to be utilized.

Evasive Maneuvers
Harder to hit on average, 10% on auto-dodge chance that anything that targets this wizard automatically misses. This is rolled separately from the attack roll.

Broom: Varapidos (+3 to all stats) (Enganação. This literally means "cheat" and is a basically the art of sleight of hand for Brazilian Quiddich players. When a Quiddich player attempts to use the "cheat" action where they attempt to cast a spell while in a game, they succeed once per game automatically. Must declare alongside cheat action. All subsequent attempts to cheat have a 10% automatic "not noticed by the spectators" effect.)
