Thats true but Edith was saying that after first couple of people put miss that kinda comfirms that the bean is gone. So you could still check it but just dont put in the thread that you missed it. Personally, I just know the times when the bean changes (1AM/PM and 7AM/PM CST) and only check the thread maybe an hour or later before bean change (or, now that I've completed one collection, just whenever I have time that day).

Once I get the bean, before it changes, I don't even check the thread after i just click clear notificaions. Maybe you could just do that instead? It's not annoying then if you just ignore it. Like Envony said, it only changes at certain times

Not only that, but when people type missed 8+ times, it clogs up a whole page when you're trying to look back at the bean history. I personally like to look back at the bean even if it has been missed, or for me to double check whether it has been found or not.
