Hello lovely participants of Match 3! I will be taking over moderation of this round, and as Gyle is currently unavailable, I need the actions you sent in forwarded to me. These should not be changed from what you previously sent, and there is a hard deadline of the usual 96 hours to do this (but I will mod sooner if you send them). Thank you!

The piste would see life - half of it at least.

The Vipers were back at it - and with a skillful expression to make up for lost time. Both Ara and Matthew would cast a perfect spell. Ara a flipendo, and Matthew a Incendio Duo. Draven’s Flipendo was also a solid cast, but it was harder to see amongst the duo of sparkling perfection forming on his teammates’ wands.

Matthew’s third(?) brilliant spell was the first across the piste. Sadly, his incanting spells did not translate into his aim. Something must have tugged at him, an unnerving glance? Perhaps some mid-match butterflies? Whatever it was, his spell would be first across and first to find no target. His aim had been wildly off. Draven’s flipendo wouldn’t miss quite as badly, but the badger would be spared the boy’s flipendo. EmmaLee would not have the same luck with Ara’s. The blinding ball of force would strike the badger and knock her lights out.

Galton’s hand shot up with a shout. ”Pause!” The mediwizards were waved on an the poor duelists was taken away. Once all proper care had been given. He’d call the duel back on. Could the blind and piste-bound Badger escape the seemingly near end? Resume!”

1. You have 96 hours from now to write your posts. A minimum word count of 50 is needed per post.
2. In the same time period, send me (Gyle Lamont) your team's actions per owl. Do not hint at your actions in your post.

Emma was lost and struggling, fighting to think of or do to protect EmmaLee, but it was like without her vision, she had no ability to do anything but stand there frozen. And it became even worse when she heard the pause that signalled another person had fallen, and she was pretty sure that it was EmmaLee.

Supposedly there was only so long you could keep casting perfection before it was inevitably going to miss and while Matthew had been on an impressive streak that time came. Still, as the fire roared from his wand he let the heat of it raise his spirits and hearing the sudden thump of yet another badger victim he couldn't help but wonder what they had done to induce such a wrath of fate.

Whatever it was, he would be sure not to mimic them. It was time to put the team out of their misery.

What was about to happen felt inevitable. With the sole badger blind and prone, all Gyle could do was watch as the Vipers finished off their prey.

Every single Viper would go for a dueling staple. Three flipendos would hurl across the piste towards the blind badger. It seemed like she began to incant, but in a prone state she was not able to properly cast the spell.

As the trio of flipendos raced across the piste Gyle readied himself for the end. To his surprise, the first flipendo across would find only wood, as Emma rolled out of its way instinctively. But while she may have dodged one, the other two found her easily. His hand shot up. ”MATCH! All Badgers are knocked out - Slytherin takes the victory!”

Applause would ring out, and mediwizards would rush forward. It was a well won victory, though Gyle was surprised by just how brutal these duels were in person. Terrifyingly thrilling to think he’d be capable of something similar in a few years. Not knowing what exactly to do, he’d give a congratulatory thumbs up to the Vipers before wandering off the piste to find a snack. And register the match results. That was probably important too.
