That would be a good topic! No joke that it's a hard subject, but it has a lot of history behind it. Unfortunately it didn't fit the theme for this competition, so that's why I went with the Meiji era.

That sounds like something my English teacher would do. Though honestly, she isn't really a teacher as she uses AI on all her assignments then complains about how bad we do on her quizzes when all that the AI wrote has nothing to do with the book.

Mind if I owl you, if you don't mind me talking abotu my subject if it's not too hard on you? I'd yap in here but I don't want to accidently cause someone to feel traumatized or anything.

And I've never heard of the Meiji era! I think I need to learn more about it!
