Calm & Quiet PV reopened

Her face gave no reaction to his words, but it was as if he had slid a dagger right into her heart. A heart that was getting colder and colder by the day or so she hoped. She would give anything to just not feel anymore.

She listened carefully as he spoke, and he broke off again but it seemed like he was cutting himself off, which she found odd. “Well, we are, after all, only 11 I am sure there are many things in this world that we have yet to discover, Seth.” It was true they were but children and had so much in the world to experience still. It was interesting for her to think about since she spent so much of her time now isolated studying over her potions books, healing spells, and the articles she wrote for the Hogwarts Headliner. “So, what do you want to experience before the end of the year is up, and what do you want to achieve in life?”

She was inquisitive, and it was easy to see her interest in keeping him talking. He seemed uncomfortable, and she was one for pushing boundaries gently to try and get people more comfortable. Someone had done it for her, and although their friendship was over, she didn’t see that as a reason not to do the same for others when the opportunity arises.
