Thank You Professors Errand

Dear Head of Houses,

It's been nearly 3 years (2 years, 8 months—but who's counting?) since I joined the community, and among you are some of the first folk I've had the privilege to meet as a new member. I want to thank you for your efforts, passion, the time you've generously allotted to this community, and the maintenance that goes on behind the scenes. It's been a true honor to write with some of you, laugh, cry, as well as work alongside you as a fellow teammate.

I’m sad to see you leave the team, but excited to see where all of your journeys go from here! I wish you all the best and thank you again!

It really is hard to send you all off without sounding like a broken record, but when I thank you all for your time I really do mean it. Moderating has its ups and downs (mostly ups, despite having to handle some tough cases), but your longevity in your roles and on the team has proven you all are a very resilient bunch. The impact each of you have had on the site and its culture is monumental. Without any of you we wouldn't have the healthy community we have today. You've helped us flourish greatly. Know that your legacy will be remembered fondly for years to come. I wish you all bountiful creativity and nothing but the best.

To all of you that are turning the page and starting a new chapter,

Thank you. These are the most sincere words I can say to all of you. The amount of time and dedication you gave to us and this community is nothing but admirable and I can only be grateful to all of you.

This community has this special power of not only being a place to write our stories with others, but, through the years I've been here, I've understood that is also a place for friendship, to learn kindness, a pool and source of creativity and fun. This is not only due to, but also largely due to your presence as Admin. You all set the example and tone for how this all works, guiding us toward a common goal of seeing this place improve and remain safe for everyone, of all ages and in all corners.

This really feels like the passing of a baton from one generation to another and it has a certain beauty in it. My wishes is that those that are leaving staff can find their time to enjoy writing back with us in due time, by experience I know its nice to have a bit more time to relax and see this place through a different pov. And for those that are staying, I wish you all good luck! What I know of you guys, is that we will continue to have amazing Admin and that you'll do an Outstanding job keeping this community a place we all adore!

I've been on this site for hardly a month, but the amount of work it takes to run such a detailed site is humongous, and it's really nice that you took the time out of your irl lives do be a part , and contribute SO MUCH to this community. To all the Head of Houses, especially Professor Browne, our head of house:
I have only joined the site for around four months, but within the four months and counting, it was you all professors and purple people, that answered my question.

As for my first time on this site, the first letter I got (apart from validation things) was from Professor Browne. Although the letter itself might just be modded so all newcomers into a house would receive it at once, it still made me feel warm inside. When I opened the letter for the first time, I don't recall reading the whole thing, but the first two paragraphs stuck with me:


I expected Ravenclaw, but after reading this, I realized how much it related with both me and Maisie. If it wasn't for that letter, I might not have resonated with Hufflepuff. So thank you, Professor, for that letter. And thank you, to all of the professors in other houses, the ones that keep this place running smoothly.

TL;DR: Thanks, professors, for all you did for this community, and wishing you the best to come.

A huge thank you too professors and heads of houses as they've helped not just Karina but everyone here on this website! A special thanks to those who've helped Karina to when she fist joined, she was so clueless and didn't know what to do without your assistance! I thank all of the mods of Hio for putting in the hard work and spending a lot of time here, to make this website feel like our home- Hogwarts!

To all the professors,
I'm so impressed with how detailed your class posts are! They are fun to read and respond to, and they can be funny too. Thank you for the time you spend grading all our assignments. I'm sure its a lot of work, but we all appreciate it. When I found this website, I was looking for a Hogwarts simulator of some kind where you could do homework and get graded, and because of you, I found exactly that!

Hello! I feel that it is hard to add onto what has already been said, since I am sure I won’t have anything to say that hasn’t been said, but I’d like to add my thanks regardless. When I found Hogwarts io and started rping here, I quickly realized how much work goes into managing a site like this, I’ve noticed that even more when I was on staff. I’ve always admired all the work and dedication you as Heads of Houses have, for the site and the work that is included in it. I want to sincerely thank you for doing that and for your help in turning hio into the community and place that it is today. I genuinely hope that you can now go back to seeing hio in the pov that we all start out with, to simply enjoy writing, to engage in the community and continue to enjoy being here! You’ve done an extraordinary job and now I am sure it will be exciting to see what the new HoH‘s will bring to the table. I wish those who are taking over good luck and am sure that you’ll continue doing the amazing work that you’ve already done! Overall, just thank you to the staff team for continuing to manage our site so wonderfully and for making it what it is, an escape from reality and a place to be creative and make connections!

I'm truly grateful to all the team members I've interacted with, both those I've interacted with and those I haven't. They're always quick to help when there's a problem, and they're incredibly patient with new players, which is nice. I want to thank each and every one of them. All the team members I've interacted with are genuinely kind and intelligent, and they always find a common solution to any problem. It's nice that I feel free to write to them, because sometimes there's hesitation on other forums, but I've never experienced such hesitation on this site. And what they've done for us means a lot. They've worked especially hard on the major update for InPCs, and they've delivered a fantastic result.
