Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: Colin has learned that wherever he goes, blood is likely to be spilled. Often his own. He doesn't like violence for violence sake; rather he knows that violence, injury, and wounds both magical and mundane are a part of life for a young wizard. He has in mind a plan to become an auror and feels that having a solid background in healing arts will come in handy after setting dark wizards on fire or casting bombarda on their trousers. He also understands that the wand is like the two edged sword that both injures and heals.
Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting?: Actually, I've got a really cool story about that! Me and Ava were teaching Emily how to broom race last year! Of course, blatching is all part of any proper broom race. Well, Emily got blatched, and actually broke her nose! It was wicked, and there was blood and everything!
Well, of course, I couldn't just let Emmi sit there with a broken nose, right? So! I used episkey to fix her cute nose, and afterwards she was just as beautiful as she was before! Her nose made this cool crick-crack sound as the bones and wobbly bits all shifted back into their right places, too. And Emily didn't even squeak! And then after that, because it was chilly and, er, damp, we made sure to dry her off and we drank some hot choco. And then, last of all, I cleared away all the blood!

Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: Simon has realized that healer is his calling in life. He has a school club for magical medicine and he did an internship at St Mungos over the summer. He likes helping others and feel this is one avenue in which he can.

Name: Lyanna Oak

Why does your character want to join the healer internship? A kind and caring person, Lyanna is often referred to as the light in the dark. She has always been passionate in helping others, and as soon as the opportunity of becoming a healing intern opened itself up again (after having participated in the now closed down one run by prof. Baird) she immediately signed up. Healing is also a way to learn more about the body itself and the spells that can influence it, which is also a valuable skill. All in all, what better that to have hands-on experience in helping and healing others for someone like Lyanna?

Healer Internship Update
I have updated the prerequisites and application to become a Healer Intern. The internship now just requires you to have at least one spell in your trunk, but you must answer an additional question of how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting. If you have any questions, do not be afraid to reach out.

Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: Her grandmother, a healer of sorts, taught her how particular herbs and plants could help with the sick and ailing. She is interested in healing, and (she doesn't know it now but it's my intention) wants to become a healer when she graduates.

Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: mentioned above
Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting?: The Knockback Jinx (Flipendo), though primarily used for dueling, could be used to push heavy things off. This would be an effective way to help with someone if they are stuck under rubble or heavy objects and unable to move, yet needing medical attention. Because of how sometimes getting to the injured is difficult, when people are stuck under heavy things, they could get injuries such as bleeding, fractures, internal bleeding and organ damage, Crush Syndrome and Compartment Syndrome. Some aren't as major and could wait, but other injuries are a matter of life or death, so if the objects are moved off them, and their injuries are assessed, they could have a better chance of living.

Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: He may have been a duellist at Koldovstoretz, but one of the major components of being a duellist is not necessarily to overthrow someone or to knock them unconscious. It is to ensure that you remain victorious, even with the rejuvenating blasts of the usage of healing spells and potions on yourself. Does he want to heal people as much as he wants to take the healing potions (so he wouldn't have to brew them himself)? Not really, but it was still important to ensure everyone didn't die, especially any potential girlfriend he might come across, should she ever lie in the hospital bed in the wing.
Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting?: It's not hard to use Ferula, it's simply the bandaging charm and can be used in the process to splint broken bones and to ease pain.

Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: Cecilia would like to have a hands-on experience with healing to decide if she wants to pursue this career path. She also secretly wishes to be useful in emergencies, but has trouble admitting that.
Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting?: The extinguishing charm could be used to put out flames on a person's clothing to reduce the chance of severe burns. Particularly if the individual has no means of extinguishing the fire themselves. This would also allow for an easier examination of the person to determine if they require immediate medical attention.

Why does your character want to join the healer internship?: Ally has always had a fascination with healing thanks to her gran when Ally would scrape her Knee or other body parts would get wounded Ally's gran would apply sabs and ointments amongst other things to heal any ailment Ally might have. So to say the least Ally wants to learn everything she can to be able to repay her grandmother for everything she has done for her and to be able to help others in general is Something Ally loves doing.!!
Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting?: Oculus Reparo could be used to help mend any broken glasses that way if any of the nurses wears glasses or if the other interns wear glasses they can be repaired if broken so everyone would be able to see properly to be able to give an exact diagnosis of said patient that lays in the hospital wing!!!

Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting?:Answering this IC, Livia would tell you about her accident-prone little brother and how she'd be glad to learn some healing spells just in case his antics got him more than just a scrape, and that there's no better way to do that than by getting practical experience while helping her peers.
She also thinks volunteering would look good to her parents, but she is a bit less likely to mention that.
The spell Scourgify could be used to sanitise medical instruments and surfaces. This is very important in medicine because unsanitary instruments can cause infection.

Why does your character want to join the healer internship? | While not planning a career in the direct art of healing, Vale wishes to join simply because it'll help improve her potioneering skills and better enhance her job resume beyond just the ability to hide suspicious objects well and the peculiar talent of knowing which objects are quite flammable.
Explain how one of the spells your character knows could be used in a medical setting? | Healing Charm (Reparifors) cures poisoning. And Vale knows enough about the effects of poisons and how to treat them, especially since she likes to test her own poisons-erm, potions on herself for her self-studying. So if the typical first year ends up in the hospital wing because of an incorrect mixture for an antidote of common poisons, Vale just knows the correct spell to get them back up in no time.
