History/Background Story:

Lily grew up always switching from Japan, where her dad worked and India, where most of her family lived. Though she was an American citizen, as her birth was early, and she was on vacation and there wasn't time to go to India for it, she loved Indian and Japanese culture. She went to a muggle school as her parents felt it was important to have a knowledge of both the muggle and wizarding world so she would have a choice where to build her future when she grew up. Her father worked in the department of magical law enforcement and her mother was the head chef in the most reputed restaurant in the town she lived in. As a child, she was able to do surprising things (which she only knew was magic when she was six) and even got the hand of controlling it. She loved nature and would spend a lot of time in her family's garden. Her family was south Indian and spoke Kannada, yet decided to name her with an english name so as to mix in in America, as she was still a citizen there and the UK as she lived there for some time. Lily had had a wonderful life in both the countries and thought her life couldn't get any better after she had moved to the UK when she was nine and lived in the nicest city until she learnt to control the weird things she somehow could do and learnt it was magic and got the admission letter to Hogwarts.

First instance of magic:

Lily was learning how to cook when she was six 'Mysore Pak', an indian sweet with her grandmother, when she accidentally spilt the hot batter on her hands. Normally, she would have ended up with a really bad burn, but her hands were perfectly fine. She concluded it was magic and was ever so excited.

Green Sparks Charm (Verdimillious)
A charm that emits green sparks from the wand. These sparks could be used to reveal objects hidden by Dark Arts or offensively in a duel.
Knockback Jinx (Flipendo)
A jinx that knocks a target backwards. While prominently used for duelling, Flipendo could also be used to push heavy objects.
Smokescreen Spell (Fumos)
A charm often used in duelling to create a defensive cloud of smoke from the wand that hinders visibility.
