ic & ooc info & interests:
ic — when i was making maelys i had the expectation that she would probably be either a hufflepuff or a ravenclaw. however, after completing the sorting quiz, slytherin makes much more sense. she doesn't fit the stereotypical cold, aloof, traditional mean girl reputation the house carries. mae is more of a gretchen wieners to someone else's regina george. she's a natural introvert who tries to be sociable to please others around her. mae is a social chameleon... she's quick-witted and intelligent enough to find her place but her competitive spirit, sensitive emotions, anxious tendencies, and very high standards for herself always leave her wanting more. maelys is a thoughtful, observant, empathetic type of young witch— a people person in the sense that they matter to her (rather than wanting to be surrounded by people.) gossip is like mental stimulation to her... she loves it. everything is kind of a puzzle in her mind whether it be helping others or figuring out how to stay "in control" of her situation. maelys might be smart but she lacks the self-awareness to take note of her own behavior. she loves fashion, playing guitar, muggle pop culture, movies, games, and spending time with her friends.
ooc — maelys and i have some similarities but, overall, we're pretty different. firstly, i'm a lot less of an idiot about things than she is since i'm a college student irl and she's a first year..we're both infj types but i'm a hufflepuff and she's a slytherin. we have similar thoughts but different ways of acting on them. as for my interests, i love writing, classic rock, playing flute, painting, video games, philosophy, learning languages, travel, and hanging out with friends! i'm sometimes busy but i try to respond fast.

OOC Information: Isabella is heavily influenced by my OOC personality so read above! Isabella is an extrovert with a golden retriever personality. She's feisty and fun. She's very loyal. She is a bookworm and a nerd. She's the type you'd see at social events. She gets bored when she doesn't have homework or studying to do, hence this idea of a pen pal. Or two.

I do listen to certain English and Indian artists. I'm a Potterhead. I read a lot of crime books. I've read AGGGTM - all three books, Ayn Rand's Fountainhead, and more. I'm also a foodie!

Agnes' is a big loner...so any Slytherin friends would be much needed. She gets lots of gifts sent from home from her dad, things like snacks or games, or letters, sometimes books. Shes more than happy to share. Shes nervous around boys, but can warm up easily. She can come off as very self preserved and rude, but shes just rough around the edges.

I love Anime (My favorite being Attack on Titan...), and I'm still studying Japan and educating myself on it out of pure interest. Other than that I love to listen to music and love Harry Potter.

IC or OOC Information: Silvy thought she would be sorted into Slytherin, and is kind of disappointed she wasn't... But her mom was a Slytherin, and her dad was a Hufflepuff, so she expected it could go either way. She's fine with it... and only holds a slight grudge. She is bisexual, and working to explore her true identity, and come to terms with who she truly is. She is a bid moody, a bit dark, a bit cunning... but also so, so kind, and friendly, and she is so excited to meet new people at Hogwarts. She cannot wait to see what lies in store!
IC-Interests: Silvy used to read so much, and she still owns and carries books constantly, but... she quit reading a couple years ago. So now her interests are mostly to do with fashion and baking. She really enjoys sewing her own clothes, and baking in her parent's kitchen. She is hoping to learn more gardening, as she used to work in the garden with her dad when she was little, before she began to isolate in her room, and she misses that quality time with him.
OOC-Interests: Unlike my character, I read a lot, to this day! I also write, I write fiction and poetry, mostly. Same as my character, I am bisexual, I like baking, and unlike my character I don't really sew, although I would like to someday. Also, I love cats!
