- REGARDING THE FIRST MEETING :
I had originally planned to make it the 20th of September 2025, which is a Saturday, and around 4pm. Place would be near the great lake, and it would purely be an informational meeting as IC your character would have only seen the two posters I've made, which don't really explain much. Is this okay with you, and do you have any amends to make or suggestions to make it better ?
- REGARDING MEETINGS IN GENERAL
=> Do we want the same day and hour each week (IC), or do we want it to change ?
=> As for the place, I was thinking of making votes in this chat for the next meeting's location, does this system works for everyone ?
=> OOC, we obviously cannot start a new thread every week so I was thinking of making monthly threads, and close the previous one when we start a new thread. What do you think about this ?
- REGARDING THE ROLES
As you know, we have nestmaker/quillbearer/pagefinder and librarian. I was doubtful about the librarian but many of you seemed interested, so do you like the idea of a shared journal ?
- Do you have other roles suggestions or ideas to make these ones better ?

=> The date sounds good to me! Kim will come upon seeing the poster and just want to come because it has to do with books and reading which he enjoys.
=> As for the same day/hour IC, that works for me! Whatever you decide is good!
=> As for the place doing votes in this thread sounds great! When you do it, you should prob tag everyone in the club just so we know it's up!
=> Monthly threads sound awesome ooc-wise and closing the previous is good too. I do like to have an actual ending to my threads if possible but I can always make an ending thread post if I know the end is coming right before you close it. Maybe give everyone a 24 hour notice that you are closing the thread and starting the new meeting?

INFORMATIONS REGARDING THE FIRST MEETING

Hi !! It is the 20th of August, meaning it is a month prior to the first thread's IC date, meaning this club CAN FINALLY STARTTTT YIPPEE !!!! I find myself beyond excited and I hope you guys are too. Here are a few grounds rules / informations, and I will post the starter at the end of the day.

[REGARDING THE FIRST THREAD]
IC, your character will have only heard of the club through the posters Elena will put throughout the school (she will hang the first one around the 10th of September). This means THIS 'FIRST MEETING' IS FOR YOUR CHARACTER TO SIGN UP FOR ROLES AND THE CLUB ! Elena will greet everyone, explain the purpose of the club and hand them a book for them to sign, then will plan the first real meeting 'next week'. WE WON'T ROLEPLAY THAT FIRST REAL MEETING SADLY, as our next roleplayed meeting is in november. But again, check the log and feel free to reference it, say your character got closer to [...], etc etc.

[OVERALL, GENERAL INFORMATIONS]
- All site rules apply here.
- IC, meetings will be held every saturday from the 20th of september. To allow for IRL and different RP speeds, we will only RP 5 meetings throughout the year. Each thread will be open for a month following the order below;
1ST; opens 20th of august, closes 20th of october / IC 20th of september
2ND; opens 20th of october, closes 20th of december / IC 20th of november
3RD; opens 20th of december, closes 20th of february / IC 20th of january
4TH; opens 20th of february, closes 20th of april / IC 20th of march
5TH; opens 20th of april, closes 20th of june / IC 20th of may
For the meetings we unfortunately cannot RP, I will hold a log with a summary of what happened at each meeting, as well as the roles each character held for the meeting ! Feel free to reference that at any given point in your roleplays.
Due to the scarcity of roles, I won't be able to make everyone roleplay theirs. For each IC meeting, I will spin a wheel and the name who comes out will be the one to have the role said week. If your character's come up on a roleplayed week, then you'll have the role for that meeting!! If not, I'll put it in the log. If I run out of people for one role, I'll turn a wheel again with those who haven't got the chance to roleplay theirs yet.
Don't hesitate to reach out for clarification!

[STRUCTURES OF MEETINGS]
- In each meeting I will post 'moderating' posts, to begin and make sure the thread progresses (such as introducing new activities, moving on to a next book,,, etc). Please read it and act accordingly so that the thread doesn't turn into pure chaos. If you haven't got the time to post before one of those, then just say your character has arrived late and joins this activity! If you do not post before the deadline, it will be assumed your character is idle (doesn't do anything) during that round.
- No double posting, and please keep to 200 wc minimum :>
- Would help me if you put a description of your character's actions for a quick read !!
- Members will receive a 72h notice before thread's closure, if you don't post anything I will simply say people have packed up and left, before closing the thread. My post will always be the last post of every thread.
