It is optional so we don't burn members that joined a month or two too late that did a ton of HW. A lot of firsties did very few assignments and it does not make much of a difference. But some of you... did almost all of the assignments in the short time you were here.
Sorry, some of you are annoyed.
If it makes you feel better, back when I joined you only earned 1 sickle a day as a first year. I do not feel it would be beneficial to make you guys suffer like some of the oldest players did. We make changes to ensure equal opportunity for members.

iNPCs don't take a huge amount of effort, as you are essentially making another character. How busy you get depends on how involved you wish your character to be.
