A Fond Farewell to Our Seventh Years

The Hogwarts caretaker spent the better part of the morning carefully removing portraits and paintings from a large area on the wall in the small hall directly across from the grand doors of the Great Hall. Once a sufficient space had been cleared, he attached a large chalkboard to the wall. Across the top of the board, in thick, colorful block letters, it read, CONGRATULATIONS AND VALEDICTATIONS CLASS OF 2025!".

Next to the chalkboard, sat a small table with everything one would need to write a meaningful note to those who would be exiting their hallowed halls for the last time as students come June 30th: Paper of various sizes with self-sticking charms on the back, quills and ink of various colors, even some stamps and ink pads with fun little faces and pictures.

Along the bottom of the board, in much less impressive letters, are the instructions for students to write something to their graduating friends and for graduates to write something to leave behind to the younger years.

Students are encouraged to leave any manner of (appropriate) letter, quote, words of wisdom, advice, appreciation, or memories for their fellows to say goodbye. If your note is for someone specific, be sure to mention them so they are sure to read it.
